I had hired Andrew via an Angie's List deal once before and called him directly next time to look at a circuit that was tripping all the time, and to give me an estimate for replacing two recessed lights. He gave me instructions as to how to troubleshoot the circuit (i.e. plug in dehumidifier in a different outlet, plug into an outlet on a different circuit) n advance of his visit, which I did. The planned date/time didn't work because he was on an emergency call somewhere else. He wanted to come out that day but when it looked like there was no way to identify what time it would be, I decided to reschedule. This is the ONLY reason for the "B" grade on punctuality. But on the rescheduled day, he showed up right on time so I have no complaints there. (One suggestion...when this happens, if you can't identify a specific time, explain, cancel, and reschedule. Yes, you might lose that business if the customer is a jerk, but most of us would rather know and not have to wait around all day...and also know that if WE have an emergency, we'd get the same attention!) He checked out the circuit and found it to be working just fine. It may be that his fiddling around in the box did something because the circuit has not tripped since he was here. He then looked at the hi-hats and found that they are Lightoliers, which means that they are a special kind of baffle. When I could not find them online after he was here, I e-mailed him for suggestions as to where to find them and he got right back to me with suggested resources. Very impressive. He then investigated whether an outside lamppost that doesn't get any power could be made to work (it can't) and he capped off the wire so nothing can get to it. I am getting ready to list my house for sale and preparing a list of resources for the next owners. For electrical work, I'm putting Paps Electric as a referral.

Very professional job. Needed to remount two of our outdoor light fixtures that were hanging loosely on our siding.

The service call went extremely well. He was responsive to phone calls, showed up on time (with his apprentice), and worked swiftly to get all of the jobs done that we had discussed. He was very professional, but one of the most amazing parts is that they cleaned up after themselves! I would definitely call them again to complete electrical work in the future. Luckily, I purchased his time via a big deal so this was all around a very positive experience.

Andrew came today and called me before to let me know the time. Andrew and Joe took down my two ceiling fans and put together the two I purchased and installed them. They did a great job and left the area very clean. They are very professional and did a great job. Thanks, Stephanie

Andrew, very neatly and quickly installed wall timers in my home. He is extremely professional and friendly and really knows his business. He gets right to the job and makes sure everything is perfect when done. He is very neat and cleans up when done. I will definitely use him in the future for my electrical needs.

It went very well; the provider was very punctual and he was kind. He provided excellent service, and was able to give us honest advice about lighting. He gave us great deals and charged us a fair price. It was clear he knew what he was doing, in fact he did so well, I will be hiring him again to install more light fixtures in my living room. My first phone contact with Andrew was very pleasant. We set a date and time for the work to be done. He and his assistant arrived promptly and proceeded to install the lights. They worked quickly and quietly and cleaned up after they finished their work. Andrew made valuable suggestions and was happy to answer any questions I had. He is knowledgeable and responsible and I would gladly use him again.

I purchased the two hour $99 big deal from Angie's list to troubleshoot an outdoor GFI outlet and a flood light. Andrew from Paps Electric showed up on time and was very professional and courteous. He was very methodical in troubleshooting the problem given the wiring was old and not straight forward. . He also found another indoor outlet that is not working and fixed it. He rewired two junction boxes that were not done properly in the past before I bought the house. Now my backyard flood light is working as well as the two outlets. I am very pleased with the service and will definitely use Paps services in the future.

They came in right on time and efficiently took care of all of our needs. Both gentleman were extremely helpful, respectful, and I will definitely use them again if I have an electrical issue.

He was on time, he did work cleanly. My problem is that before I gave him the job I told him "I don't want a Home Depot or Amazon appliance installed." I wanted something from an electrical supply store. And he installed a Home Depot fan. I'm furious about this. I asked him to remove the appliances that he had installed and return my money, and he's refused. That's when I told him I'd have to go to small claims court.

Everything went great. Andrew called to let me know he was on the way & was right on time. He & his assistant were very nice & professional. I showed them what needed to be done & they went right to work. I purchased the wrong outlets for the garage & his assistant went right over to Home Depot to get the correct ones. They were also nice enough to get the correct recessed outlet for my kitchen clock. They got all the work done very quickly & asked if there was anything else I needed done. Andrew was nice enough to answer any questions I had & explained the work that was being done. I mentioned I will be selling my house & Andrew said to give him a call if I need anything else done. I am very happy with the quality of work and professionalism Andrew and his assistant showed. I would recommend Paps Electric LLC & Andrew to everyone who needs a quality electrician.

They came and fixed my timer, replaced the device and worked great.

Andrew gave a 3 hour window and called to say he was on his way within the first half of that window. Andrew and his assistant did a great job and had to work with old fixture boxes, wiring etc. which didn't make it any easier. All work was done to my total satisfaction. I would use him again in a heartbeat. I'm hoping any future electrical work I need will be done by Paps Electric. This is my first Angie's List "deal" and it was well worth it. I relied on other reviews on Angie's list and go along 100% - a top notch electrician.

Andrew and his assistant did an excellent job. They showed up on time, and they got to work right away. They were very efficient, and completed everything in the allotted time. The chandelier they installed was in a hard to reach spot, but they took care of it with no problem. They even fixed a light on it that had been installed improperly by the manufacturer. After they were finished, I asked Andrew to take a look at a socket that didn't work. He gladly helped me even though the time I had paid for had already been used. He quickly fixed it, had a great attitude (he didn't seem put out by the last minute request), and didn't charge me for it. I found Andrew to be very honest, knowledgeable, and hard working. I will absolutely be using him again in the future.

Andrew and his helper arrived early in the morning. They went to work right away. He had to snake a line from upstairs office down into garage in order to install a cable jack. Jack looks good. All went well. Very clean and neat. Also replaced old gfi in garage. No problems. Everything was completed in the allotted time. Well worth the price.

He was on time and completed all the work within the 2 hours so I did not incur additional costs. He made sure everything was cleaned up and answered all questions I had. Would definitely use him again and have given his information to people I work with.

Paps Electric determined what the issues where and explained to us the various options available to rewire the connections, repair the fixtures and replace damaged components. Paps Electric was attentive, professional and efficient. The light fixture and the electric outlet are working. I would hire Paps Electric again. I would recommend Paps Electric to friends and family. I did not feel pressured to hire Paps Electric or to have them do work than what necessary or needed. Paps Electric was flexible when it came down to scheduling the appointment.

Electrician was very efficient and did excellent work. He wasn't watching the time to leave and stayed to make sure everything was completed. Only side note was he had to turn off the power from the main panel which I have had others work with live wiring. Not really an issue, just a note so that you would be ready if it was necessary.

He was very competent, very professional and priced very well. Will definitely be asking him to do work again in the future.

Went very well. Andy called and was able to get here earlier. One problem was wiring I had done years ago that came off old lines. Took a while to figure out what I had done 40 years ago. Once Andy saw what I had done he was able to correct the problem. Very friendly and professional. Spoke to him about replacing old circuit breaker panels and he will be sending me an estimate. Looks like he will be my electrician in the future.
