The workers were punctual in coming to the house. They were very professional. One important thing was they took all the stuff that I didn't need and with sticky notes on the items, they took everything that had a sticky on it was taken away. They did a nice job of cleaning up even though there was a lot dirt or dust. It took only four days to get it done. They were very nice.

The actual installing drain pipe and sump pump was excellent. The work to finish interior panel was only fair.

It went well. It took 3 days to complete the job. The men gave me a time that they would arrive and they were prompt each day. All the concrete dug up to create the French Drain was removed by the workers. The workers were courteous and friendly and explained what was happening each day they were there.

I live in a flood zone and despite repeated heavy rains and some flooding in the neighborhood, my basement remained dry enough that it is now a living space. I had some issues pertaining to the basement bathroom - namely, the sink wasn?t reinstalled when they put in the drainage system. They came out promptly to fix the problem and were very responsive and profession the entire time. I would certainly recommend them and if I ever move and need basement waterproofing, they will be the folks I call.

The representative indicated that an extensive amount of work would be required to eliminate the problem I had with the dampness in my basement. I spoke to another contractor that told me that all of the homes in Mt. Airy had the same problem and that it was unrealistic to try to totally eliminate all dampness in the basement and the best thing to do was to get a self draining dehumidifier and call it a day. I found one for $300 dollars and it got delivered in the same week. I wouldn't recommend this contractor to anybody.

Crew was hard working and professional. All the work was done in one day. All debris was removed as specified.

I am still wondering what I paid $49.00 for, I got a free survey and estimate the next day. I do not like to be pressured into anything, I was not happy with Basements Love us Inc.

They came in to provide a price. They just only made the appointment to make a sale. I'm not paying someone to do that. The lady who set up the appointment would only set a date when all the adults in the household would be present. The deal was for an inspection and report. They have no intention of giving me the report. They called back today to offer an discounted deal. But, they still haven't given me the report. They wrote a price on a business card and they offered to reduce that price when they called back.

1. They sent out someone that works in the "commercial end" of the business not a sales rep. He refused to give me a written estimate but did tell me if a sales rep came out the cost would be 7,000 to 8,000 but he could do it for 4,500. He did write the amount on the back of the business card and pointed out that his private cell phone was on the card and I could call here at that number. 2. He also told me that a sales rep would take 1 - 2 hours to do a basement inspection. I thought an inspection was what I paid for, not someone that was here for 10 minutes.

WE HAVE HAD WATER LEAKING FROM THE BRICK WALLS AND FLOORS IN OUR BASEMENT FOR YEARS. THE SALESMAN WAS VERY HELPFUL IN EXPLAINING WHAT THE PROBLEM(S) WERE IN OUR BASEMENT AND GAVE US A VERY FAIR PRICE FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK BEING COMPLETED. WHILE THE CREW WAS A LITTLE LATE SHOWING UP THEY MORE THEN MADE UP FOR IT IN THEIR WORK HABITS. THEY WERE VERY RESPECTFUL TO US AND ALL OF OUR THINGS, AS THEY HAD TO MOVE IN AND OUT OF THE HOUSE OFTEN TO COMPLETE THE WORK. THEY TREATED A MOLD PROBLEM AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON THE INSTALLATION OF THE SUMP PUMP AND CONCRETE FLOOR WHICH IS THE ENTIRE PERIMITTER OF THE BASEMENT. THE CREW CLEANED UP EVERYTHING WHEN THE JOB WAS COMPLETED! THE INSTALLATION LOOKS GREAT.....I WILL REVIEW AGAIN AFTER THE FIRST COUPLE OF RAIN STORMS. VERY HAPPY SO FAR!

Basement Love Us, did what they promised, thus far we have no leaks in the basement. We would recommend them to all our friends.

Ryan and his crew worked efficiently and completed the job in the one day as promised. The jackhammering was noisy but necessary. All three members of the team were courteous and polite. Ryan showed me exactly what Tom Kelly had shown me on his demonstration video. Ryan and crew were very conscientious in their clear up.

The work was done quickly, with as little dust as possible. We are very pleased with the results.

The salesman gives a very good pitch that makes a lot of engineering sense. He is a fast talker and he is very opinionated about the best way to have a dry basement. However, it is very convincing, and I believe that in cases like our basement, which we have been trying to get water free for 17 years, he is completely correct. He reminds one of Winnie the Pooh at rabbit's house and he told me that he recently got stuck in someone's crawl space while investigating their basement! It took him 45 minutes to get unstuck! They were a little disruptive to our family, which is why I only gave them a "B" in professionalism, but they worked very fast until they ran out of supplies, and had to do a Home Depot run to finish the concrete. They completed the concrete the next day, which was still within 3 days of when we talked to the salesman. It has only been a month - but so far, so good and dry. They were $2000 cheaper than the other bid I got, and they did more stuff in less time. They are very into not only making your basement dry, but also getting rid of basement mold, which the salesman says is very unhealthy. The other thing they do is weep holes in the walls, to prevent water from accumulating there. This is better than just french drains by themselves.

First of all, my wife and I were very impressed by the salesperson. He spent nearly 3 hours with us, explaining in detail how he would resolve the dampness, leaks, and mold issues we were having in our basement. We decided to go ahead with the work, and they did an excellent job, completed all work in one day (my basement is appx 27' by 23'). They had to jackhammer a trench all the way around my basement, carry out the debris, then carry down all the sand, gravel, cement. They also removed all the old tile on my floor, and old rotted panelling of some of the walls. They were very thorough in their cleanup, no debris left behind, also took away all the old tile and wood they ripped out. Its been over 3 weeks, and my basement no longer smells musty, all mold is gone, walls seem to be drying out nicely, almost ready for me to paint. I would strongly recommend Basements Love Us if you are considering having your basement waterproofed.

Can not comment on work performed because I don't plan on hiring them. They messed up my appointment time then called saying they were running late. Sales guy showed up an hour later and was too big to fit into the crawl space hole. Sales guy was very nice and apologetic for the lateness, which I appreciated and it showed his professionalism. His estimate was fair and slightly higher than other estimates but they did a bit more with mold remedy than my other estimates. All in all I just didn't get a good feeling about the company.

This crew of seven worked diligently all day and well into the evening. They were very professional and accommodating as well as friendly and courteous. Would not hesitate to hire this firm again.

Did what they said overall. Pump used to drain water from sink was damaged in the process. Were kind enough to replace it, but not correctly (parts were missing), so it leaked. Bought a new one and had a plumber install it on my nickel. Been 10 months since work was done and walls that looked good initially are back to where we started. Watermarks/stains everywhere. Looks ripe for more mold. Not sure what it covers, but there's supposed to be a 10 year guarantee. Was told after initial complaint, I need a french drain for $$$$$. Not a good way to up sell, IMHO. Not exactly what you'd call a happy camper.

Their work is very expensive and maybe very good since I've never had that done before. They were efficient and on time. They gave me their report right away so that's all good. My concern and why I haven't gone back to them yet is they didn't seem to be interested in how or why the water was getting in. I'm willing to have another talk with them and ask them if they can look at the outside and maybe they can divert the water that's coming too close to the house and therefore getting in. To improve, I think they should address the fact of where is the water coming from, how can we get the water to stay away from it. They came out right away and were very responsive. They seem to be professional because they didn't discuss any of these to the tenants so I was glad. They were efficient and they got me an estimate right away.

Hired this company to address an ongoing water problem in my basement. They were punctual for both the estimate and the day the job was completed (was only a one day job). They installed a sub pump, as well as created a drainage ditch of sorts in my basement floor for the water to collect without ruining my basement. Job well done!

Me and my basement loves them and their workers. After a really terrible time with a water tank dumping 45 galleons of water in my basement and creating a steam bath environment for mold that seemed to be doubling in volume hourly. These guys came in their white hazmat suits and saved the day. They should have been wearing red capes and blue "Superman" jersey's with what they did in just two days. I have a really large basement and it was filled with furniture, books, pictures and many other sentimental treasures that had been put there to help get my house ready to sell. I shopped around for folks to do this job and had several companies come in, I found that this company gave me the best offer on price, for what they would do and when and how long the job would take. But they proved to be the BEST all around. They not only sent several guys who were really knowledgeable but who also did the job completely. They had to move a ton of stuff as well has scrub down many walls, ceilings and floor, this is a very, very large basement. They made helpful suggestions on items we wanted to save, so that we could. They also were true gentlemen and took great measure to help when something sentimental could not be saved. When they were leaving they cleaned up everything so that you would never even know they were there. From start to finish they did a great job. This is the type of company you want in your home, especially when something like this happens. I recommend them highly and do to everyone who ask about any basement related problems.

Lower level of Apt had water accumulating inside after moderate to heavy rainfall. Water amounts steadily increased, so we contacted BasementsLoveUs for a free estimate. They sent out a knowledgeable technician who recommended a French drain system to be installed. There workers came prepared each day, laid out dropcloths to protect the floors, and worked diligently to complete this extensive job in a reasonable amount of time. Though this job took longer than originally planned, they didn't charge anything additional, and returned the next day to complete. We are satisfied with the work and would utilize there services again.

Overall the experience went very well. Dan Gura our estimator was very informative and helpful. He also responded very promptly and easy to get along with which makes getting a service done much more comfortable. I am very glad I used Basements Love Us to fix our crawlspace which had flooding issues. I would recommend them to anyone who has these water proofing needs.

The representative of the company was punctual. However, he was very unprofessional, and disrespectful. I explained to him that the property was my late parents home(now a rental property)and that I was looking to do the most cost efficient method to correct the problem of water puddling in the basement after a large rainstorm. At the front door, I explained to him that I had plans to redo some of the landscaping around the house to allow rainwater to drain away from the house. His first response was a curt "that doesn't make a difference". I continued by saying that some of my research indicated that this could help the situation. He then said "do you think you know it all". He then rolled his eyes. I was tempted to stop at this point but I wanted to hear what he offered and the price so we continued to the basement. He then pointed out some issues with the basement. We then went upstairs where he showed me lots of scary pictures of deteriorating basements, and informed me that if I sold the property and did not disclose this problem I would be subject to triple damages. This basement was dry when we were there, and it has nicely painted walls and floor. Yes, the floor has been wet, but the walls are all intact, and dry. He took a piece of scrap paper out and figured out a price. He asked me where the owners were - even after I explained multiple times that I was the executrix for my parents estate - both are deceased. Frankly, I didn't even save the piece of paper. It was not written on any official document. He then asked me how old my husband was. I explained that my husband was not involved in this situation. He then said "do you want the Senior Discount or not?" I thanked him and explained that although my husband is not involved with my parents estate issues, he had just turned 65 last month. I don't know why this person treated me so rudely, and unprofessionally. Even if his price was the best, I would never use him. I have been managing homes, repairs, both small and large for over 30 years. I am not a novice. I do my homework, research the situations so I can get some estimates with some level of intelligence. There was no reason for this person to treat me so disrespectfully. I should also mention that I am a manager and health care professional for over 35 years. I should mention that I did have another person , also recommended from Angie's List, in to give an estimate on the same project. This person was pleasant, explained issues related to the job, sketched out the project on graph paper and gave me an estimate. His company provided a nice book of pictures of the process. I know this company came with good recommendations so I wonder why my experience was so bad. Does he not like to deal with professional women?
