Overall work was done well. They explained each step of the work done, removed all sheet rack and framing cleaned area very well, installed drain sump pump treated for mold, explained not to use basement because of children.

Once again, I have to thank Basements Love Us for coming out to my Wildwood condo last weekend as I was away in Florida and saving my vacation! Last Sunday my handyman went to my condo in Wildwood to finish up some work for me. He called me and informed me that the condo I just staged for this summers rental season has been ruined. My 2 bedrooms and closets were soaked, which means the water tank broke between Sunday and 10 days prior when I was last there. I called Basements Love Us right away since I used them previously for my home and they were quick to respond to my emergency. They had to remove all the furniture, remove the carpet, removed portions of the drywall that got wet and I had them spray for mold especially since I have no idea how long it was running. I ask them to check the rental department that was just under my unit and that was all good thank god! I have to say, being a house flipper isn't easy and I'm very pleased to have Basements Love Us as a contact. I also just signed another contract with them to waterproof, perform mold remediation and fix the structural damage under my front porch in my North Wildwood property. My experience has been great with this company. My expectations are a contract with fair pricing, show up early in the morning do the job! Thanks again guys and keep up the great work!

Basements Love Us were flexible in working around the schedule of the other work that was being conducted on the property at the time. When I gave them the go ahead to come and provide work they were on-site the same week. The crew were very professional and finished the work in 2 days as promised. They cleaned up after themselves ensuring proper disposal of all the materials removed from the property. I was very happy with the experience.

My parents had Basements Love Us came out to their house in August 2015 and installed a waterproofing system with a sump pump. Every time when it used to rain they got water in the basement, but now since Basements Love Us completed the work they have had no problems. A lot of personal and sentimental items had been lost in the past due to the water damage, it is extremely comforting to know we will not have to lose anything more. I had this moldy smell coming from my upstairs bathroom and couldn't take it anymore. I decided to called Basements Love Us and they came out right away. They assessed the problem and recommended mold remediation. We decided to move forward and it was the best decision. Since they completed the project last summer we have not had that musty moldy smell anymore. I would definitely recommend.

I had water in my basement every time it rained and finally i got sick of it and seen basements love us advertisement and decided to call them for an estimate. After the inspector came out i trusted him on what he told me that i had to do and i decided to move forward with the project. The crew came out and were very neat and thorough and completed the project in 2 days! Since then my basement is dry again and Im even going to hire them to finish my basement off and make it into the man cave i always wanted. I would refer them to others.

Had mold in basement; Basements love us came out and tested the area for me. After sending samples back to their laboratory it came back positive for mold existence. They came back and performed a remediation scope which consisted of cleaning and removing the mold. Upon completion of work, they performed post mold testing to make sure it passed. The post results came back negative for mold existence and since than my home is healthy and safe! Thanks Basements love us!

I have a side business as a House Flipper for about 2 years now. I have a lot of experience with different contractors some good some bad as we all realize in any business. More recently my own house had mold and dampness issues. I heard of BasementsLoveUs from a few other Rehabbers within network so I decided that this job was just to much for me to handle and really out of my comfort of knowledge. I must say BasementLoveUs DID NOT disappoint. I called explained my problem to the secretary who scheduled my appointment as well as called and confirmed my appointment. The salesman Paul was assigned to my job who was very nice and I thought pricing was good and fair. The scope of work was right on point. I am happy that I met the owner Shawn who is extremely knowledgeable in his profession. I met the quality control gentlemen to make sure job was going according to plan. Luckily I didn't have any underlying issues that could sometimes become costly but as Flipper myself I'm well aware things happen. What they didn't know is I am always looking to add very fair, knowledgeable contractors to my network. So thank you BasementsLoveUs team for such hard work thats for sure. It was a pleasure. Looking forward to bringing you onboard for some of my projects in the future. Didn't realize how much you really do and I always like to work with crews that do more then just one thing!

I had a pleasant experience from my initial contact to the office to the technician who came out to evaluate my problem. They were pleasant, courteous, and knowledgable about the products. The crew came out and were hard working and efficient. My system has been working well.

Overall I was very satisfied with the work performed by Basements Love Us. After winter storm Jonas flooded my basement I was in need of a new waterproofing system as well as mold treatment. I called a few companies for estimates and Basements Love Us was the first to respond and was the first to come out and give me an estimate. The estimator was very polite and respectful and assured me they could fix my problem. After the estimator learned that I was in the military he gave me a Military Discount which was very well appreciated. So I decided to move forward with this company. The next week the guys from Basements Love Us showed up first thing in the morning to perform the work. They dropped stones and sand in my driveway but one of the guys (Ryan M.) assured me that they would have it all cleaned up before they left. After 2 days of working long days the job was finally complete and I was given a detailed walk through of all the work that was completed. All the stones and sand were cleaned up as well as the rest of my basement. Im very pleased with the work that was performed and so far have not had any problems with my water proofing system. I would 100% recommend this company to my family and friends. THANKS BASEMENTS LOVE US

I always had a musty smell in my house and the crawlspace was always damp. They came out and showed me the different material and decided the best one for the project. Since they came out and installed the liner, the smell has improved tremendously.

The crew arrived on time and was fantastic. They worked all day without a break. So far the system has worked great.

They should just give me a better price. They were slightly messy. They trimmed all the grass in my front yard because they wanted to put the stand. There was concrete on my driveway and it was not a clean job. The job that they did was a difficult job to keep it clean as well. I understand that. It took them a little time to get it done. They were supposed to put in an air system to kill some things and they had tore-scrub some joists.

They came out. They had to treat the mold and they did treat it but then a year later or not even a year I went down and I noticed some of the stains are bleeding through. They told me they would come out to look at it and they never did and I paid almost $6000.00 for that. They told me it's not guaranteed, there's not warranty, nothing. I think for $6000 I should have some sort of recourse. I'm not happy with them, I think that is terrible. They treated the mold in the basement and then they painted it. They have a special paint for mold. It's a very heavy thick paint and I can't believe that it's bleeding through. The work was okay, I just wasn't happy that they didn't guarantee and they didn't follow up when I had a problem.

After receiving 4 estimates to get my crawlspace waterproofed I went with Basements Love Us. I have to tell you I was really concerned about the quality of work being in a space 17? by 22? by 17? with just a 36?by 36?entrance opening. Well it was a great experience from the front office communication (Shannon) to the 4 workers (Clarence, Richard, Willie, and Rob) they were very courteous and worked making sure that everything was covered and sealed off from dust. They hauled the broken up concrete up 8 cellar steps hauled crush stone down 8 cellar steps than buckets of concrete down 8 cellar steps. I commend them for the job they did. When they finished they cleaned up the area. 3 weeks after wards we had a heavy rain and I had a small puddle in the crawl space in an area that was not even part of the original contract. I notified Shannon of the situation. She reported the situation and within 2 days they were back again to look at what the problem was. To fix the problem they had to break up about 3? more of concrete and add stone and cement AT NO EXTRA COST. I cannot say enough about Basements Love Us. I recommend them to anyone who has a water problem. They are a class A company and so are the people that work there.

Dave Parker was the sales rep and was a great guy. He wasn't as pushy as some other mold teams I had give me an estimate, was open to my input, and interested to what I planned on doing to the space after their job was done. The team came in on time each day and was able to complete all the work a day ahead of schedule. Their follow service was very quick as well. I realized a trench around the water heater wasn't and they were there within a week to take care of it all. Overall, easy contractor to deal with and would recommend to friends.

It was fine. He came in and checked things out and that was it. They came at they time they said they would.

I called Basement Love Us from a recommendation of a friend who had services performed. When Tom Kelly showed up he said that he worked on the commercial end in construction, but was covering to handle this estimate. I later talked with another basement waterproofing company who said that this was not at all true, and Tom Kelly has been a salesman for years. If I could give one critique I would say that he uses way too many salesman techniques, and I really believe this hurts his sales. Tom was, however, very knowledgeable, and that is why I am writing this review. I had estimates from about 7 companies for waterproofing services and mold remediation. I did extensive research from types of mold paint, to the proper width, pitch, and width of the french drain (pressure relief system). What I liked about Tom is that he told me they would do everything exactly as I wanted. Since I never had services performed I can't say how they would follow through on this. I can tell you that hiring a company for this type of service is impossibly complex, and not matter what you do you are just going to have to trust your gut and choose someone. I chose another company who I thought was excellent; it was a huge mistake! I think that you really need to interrogate these companies and ride them. There are a thousand companies who do this, and I can honestly say I know more about the technical aspects than most of them do - especially the contractors. Tom answered mostly all of my questions, though he became very rude and unprofessional near the end - which is the reason I did not choose him. He told me that he wouldn't talk to me anymore until I had financing. That's not the way I work; I figure things out before I make a commitment. We did come up with the money, and the work got done, which is something he might want to learn from. I'm not going to waste hours of my life asking questions for no reason. This company was more expensive, but were also going to do a lot. The other thing that I REALLY do not like is that he refused to write up a contract. So, your telling me I need to have my credit checked and go to the hassle of arranging financing, but your not even going to give me a contract? Still, he knew more about the details than most of the people, and at least said that he would do things what I consider the correct way. You are going to be very hard pressed to find a company that does mold remediation and basement drainage both well; this company was the closest I found, though I do recommend doing them separately. The quote and price I received from Mold n more blew away the others in the mold department; I should have used them.

About a week after I bought my house I started to notice water in the basement. I called a few companies to give me estimates on a waterproofing system. This company gave me the best deal, other companies wanted to charge a price just incase other work had to be done once they opened the floors/walls. The guy that came over to inspect and give me an estimate was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything he was looking at and walked me through everything they would have to do to waterproof my basement. Within two days they were able to start the work. They showed up on time each day and always kept me updated on everything they were doing. Once they removed the paneling on one of the walls they found two large cracks and the wall buckling in in one spot from the water pressure. They explained everything they would have to do to repair it and gave me a reasonable price. They worked around my work schedule, they stayed late one day to finish the job so I wouldn't have to call out of work the next day. They made sure everything was clean before they left. They completed the job in 2 days. Once the work was done someone walked me through how everything would function. They also drilled weep holes just incase water got into the walls. I have not seen any water in my basement since the work has been done. I would definitely recommend this company to other people.

From the time that Tom Kelly (the very knowledgeable salesman) started his explanation, I was put at ease. He was very thorough about walking through the basement, explained exactly what would be done and showed many examples of what was happening behind my walls by the water in the ground. I was apprehensive about getting this done since my neighbor had used a competitor and had a poor experience. But, nonetheless, Tom was very patient and before I knew it, I was agreeing to get the work done. When the 6 man crew showed up on the day of the work, I was impressed by them. They were polite, hard working guys. The crew chief walked me through what would be done, asked if I had questions and they began their work. If there were any questions, someone came to ask me for clarification and the job was completed a few hours before the time the saleman said it might take. These guys really knew exactly what they were doing and proceeded to do it with professionalism and pride. I could tell they were good at this task. My only tiny complaint was that where the rods were inserted into the wall, it looks really rough. Can it be sanded down? Sure, but I would have liked to see it smoother from the get go. No bad for a solid day of cutting into concrete, installing PVC pipe, mixing up concrete and carrying it into the basement. Would I recommend this company to others? Absolutely!

The job went smoothly and met all our expectations. The workers/crew were knowledgeable, neat and friendly. They completed the job in an efficient, timely and orderly manner. The office was also very responsive and accommodating to our inquires and requests.

This company installed a drainage system in our basement to get rid of the dampness. The dug around the perimeter of the basement and installed two sump pumps. They salesman was very nice and very polite. I do believe we were overcharged based on the prices i'm seeing here on Angie's List, even though he said we were getting a 20% discount. In any case, he was very punctual and gave us the estimate the same day. The men that performed the work were extremely professional and polite. They did the work in 3 days and left our basement clean. Overall I was happy with the work, other than the price.
