They were good. It was fine. They were on time and respectful. They did a good job quickly. This was my third time using them.

Called Vincent to provide estimate for stand-by generator. He came by and gave a quote. Price was very competitive, and he provided very useful information for the planned project. He was one of the few who actually seemed knowledgeable about the work as I have solar panels that I wanted to protect from being fried by the generator. Most of the other contractors said "oh, i will call the manufacturer and ask them how to go about it.", not a very reassuring thing to hear. In the end, did not proceed with the project as I had already ran over my renovation budget for the year. Would definitely give him a call for this or anything electrical in the future.

With the exception of a minor billing hitch, their service was fantastic. The first job was done perfectly, and when there was a small thing that needed fixing they were right out the next day to make it right. The electrical inspectors said the job was perfect and I say the cost was very reasonable.

Their entire crew was very professional, knowledgeable and polite. They arrived when they said they would for each phase of the installation. We got the optional service contract and the OnCue online monitoring feature. When they came for the final install and to activate the OnCue system, I requested that they run an Ethernet cable (rather than use a wireless bridge) connection from the system to our router. At the same time I also wanted an additional Ethernet cable run from the garage Ethernet switch to the Family Room. They performed this additional wiring for a very reasonable price. I appreciated the extra effort. Vincent and his team are of top quality, and I would use them for any electrical installation needs we may have in the future.

e were tripped. I switched each of them on and off to make sure that all were OK. I called various Angies List electricians that were local to me and listed emergency service as one of their features. One did call back but would not come out until the next day and another did not call back until the following day. I suspected either a loose wire or a bad breaker and was worried about going to sleep with a potential fire hazard. I noticed a new name on Angies List in a town not far from my home, Bold Electric. They listed an emergency number in their listing. When I called the number they picked up and I explained the situation and my concern about a potential fire hazard. The person who picked up the phone was the owners father and he called his son right away. He called me back immediately and informed me that both he and his son would be right over for an emergency call. They soon showed up and determined that the circuit breakers were all OK and proceeded to trace the circuit that was out. Very quickly they found a loose wire in an outlet box that was causing the outage. They repaired the loose wire and recommended that I have the other outlets in the house checked due to the age of the home. The service was prompt, professional and effective. I am sure they did not want to come out on New Years Day but they lived up to their word about emergency service. I am thoroughly pleased with Bold Electric and would definitely recommend them. I will certainly use them in the future.

it was just disappointing that they never called back and left us hanging. Even it they called and said they were too busy at the time it would have been better

Called and left messages a few times. We were told we were next on the list for Vincent to call back. We never heard back. Then today, over two weeks later, a message is left saying Vincent is too busy working on generators and best of luck with our problem. I know our work would not have been as profitable as installing generators, but the courtesy of returning our call sooner would have been appreciated.

It went very well. We had an extra quirk because we have solar panels on the roof and extra work had to be done by the solar installer so that the generator and solar operated properly together. I was back and forth with emails to Vince and the solar installer. Vince always responded very promptly. We had put our name on the list for generators shortly after Hurricane Sandy and, of course, everyone wanted a generator! When someone from Bold called in I think, February, to start the process, I asked for a ball park estimate on when it might be installed. The person said end of May. As it turned, it was the end of April, but I prefer being given a conservative estimate and being pleasantly surprised rather than the opposite. Once the dates were set, the Bold people came when they said they would and the work was done when they said it would be done. My house was left in very neat shape.

The monitoring system tests itself once a week and sends a check email directly to my inbox. The work went well and we are satisfied. I would recommend this company.

They quoted me $14000 for their services. They were very upfront and there were no ‘if’s’ and ‘buts’. I gave them 2 ideas to what I wanted and they were very upfront about what I needed to have for the house.

Several years ago we decided to upgrade the electric service in our home. We contacted Bold Electric and after meeting with the owner Vincent Battista we gave him the job. We were extremely satisfied with the service performed by his company. When we decided to get a stationary generator for our home we immediately thought of Bold Electric. We found that they had a Generator Division that is certified by Kohler and have installed and serviced hundreds of generators. We met with Vincent, who assessed our need and advised us to get a 20 KW natural gas generator. Once we signed the contract he immediately went to work to secure the permit. After Cranford issued the permit the landscapers and licensed electricians and plumbers went to work. Everyone in the process was knowledgeable, prompt, neat, courteous and friendly and took pride in their work. The job was completed on schedule. When the various inspectors from the Township came to check on the installation, they told us it was perfect. The generator is now fully operational and will be monitored and maintained by Bold. We are extremely satisfied with the entire project and the end result. If anyone is interested in obtaining a generator or needs electrical work done in their home at a fair price, we strongly endorse and recommend that they contact Vincent Battista at Bold Electric/Generators.

They did what they said they were going to do. They were very responsive from a service perspective. The high point for us was their service during the hurricane during late October. They came in twice to do general maintenance and oil change of the generators of all their customers.

They're upfront. They tell it the way it is. They don't try to snow you with a lot of technical language or anything. They generally encourage you to choose the best way of doing it. They tells you the pros and cons of each situation. I'm satisfied.

Another electrician improperly installed my standby generator (this electrician subsequently went out of business) - so I needed to find someone I could trust to assess and correct the situation. I found Bold Electric on a list of Kohler certified electricians and read a number of their positive reviews on Angie's list. I quickly came to find Vincent and his team were quite trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable.......I trusted Vincent's insights and recommendations and was quite happy with the outcome. I've even used Vincent's team to install a large chandelier in my foyer. Again, they did a wonderful job at a fair price. In addition, I signed up for Bold Electric's generator maintenance plan, which was an enormous benefit in the days following Hurricane Sandy as my generator was in use for over 1 week. Once again, Vincent and his team were thoughtful and responsive despite the fact they were dealing with MANY customers in the same situation. I normally don't recommend contractors with such confidence but I can honestly tell you that Vincent is among the most incredibly knowledgable, well spoken/clear, and trustworthy people I have ever hired.

Vincent arrived on time for the estimate and provided clear estimates after his inspection. The servicemen who later came to repair were punctual, professional and knew their job.

Vincent Battista showed up on time to give us an estimate and he and his team arrived on time to do the tasks on the appointed date. They were efficient and completed the project(s) even though we had a little set back when the entrance service cable box needed to be replaced also. Vincent had his father deliver the new box so that the job would be completed in short order. He communicated with us to keep us up to date with what was needed and how it was going to be handled. His team worked efficiently doing other tasdks while waiting for the rain to stop so they could continue replacing the cable and box outside. They were careful and cleaned up the work areas. I would and actually have called them back for another job, and I would recommend them to friends and family.

I had an outlet that was not working in my bathroom; Bold sent someone the same day I called to check it out. Excellent on the phone, excellent service and follow-up call to make sure I was satisfied. Highly recommend!

Everything went smooth, no issues or problems. The operation of the timer was explained to me in detail and no one left until I fully understood the operation. The workers were exceptionally neat and cleaned up the work area. They wore shoe covers when in the house and were very friendly as well as professional.

Vince is very thorough and clear leaving no ambiguity of price or services that will be performed. I received a quote within a week of Vince coming to the house and walking through all of our requests. I received quotes from 3 companies and Vince came in higher however his professionalism and thorough approach was worth the premium. I also received a quote for some work to be done later that required some follow up with the electric company that he took the reigns to work out and get the required information. The day of the work Vince arrived with 2 other electricians and walked through the job explaining the task and desired outcome for each item. Work started on time and ended before the end of the workday and went on while the rest of the house went about their day. Vince's team cleaned up after themselves and very courteous through the workday. Overall, the experience from the estimate to the work met my expectations and i will certainly rely on Bold for all my electrical needs in the future.
