Tom responded immediately and found a way to get to my house that evening. He was in no hurry to do a thorough inspection and repair. After the repair of the boiler (old version Energy Kinetics System 2000 fuel oil boiler) it was like he was never there. He left the utility room in better condition than it was when he arrived. His cost was reasonable and I certainly got the best service.

They called me right away and were flexible to my schedule they came and fixed my problem right away

Tom and Marty were great. Very friendly and courteous. Answered my questions and gave me suggestion so as to avoid future problems. And Krista in the office was very pleasant and helpful. Only issue was the cost. On the high side.

This project was the replacement of an oil fired hot water heater with a propane heater. This contractor was very good. However, the permitting process in our town was brutal and time consuming. Project still not completed after SIX weeks.

When they came they quoted a price a little less then $400. When done they wanted $640. They were here for about 30 mins.

They were great at contacting us quickly and scheduling the work. However I thought they were very expensive. The serviceman complained constantly about doing the job and misdiagnosed the cause of a water leak in our utility room which we had another company fix.

Home Advisor connected me to Benjamin Franklin right away. Tom was very professional, courteous and when he heard about my emergency, I was instantly his next stop after his current job. When Tom showed up, he immediately diagnosed the problem and went straight to work. Overall, it took roughly 4 hours to complete the repairs and even with the emergency charge, the price was extremely reasonable and I would call them again in an instant. I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and if I could give them 10 stars, I would! Thank you Tom!

Came same day and fixed problem of blocked kitchen sink. Were able to fix another problem I had not been aware of but I felt they were very expensive

Benjamin Franklin called me straight away and was out to fix my sump pump in 4 hours. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them.

They arrived when they said. Evaluated what needed to be done. Completed the job in a timely and professional manner.

I needed a leaky water heater replaced. The work that was quoted was excellent. Additional work done, that was not on the original quote, was very expensive. And, they said because of the snow storm, it took weeks to get them to my home to do the work.

We had an urgent need to replace a water heater that had leaked all the water and we had not hot water at all during a very cold season. We called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, left a message and they responded within the hour and were able to come and replace the water heater that same afternoon. The price was reasonable and the time for installation was right. We would definitely hire them again.

He was very nice, knew what he was doing and communicated well.

Can't speak for the company as a whole, but the plumber sent to us was less than stellar. When done, informed me he "lost" the instruction manual to the new pump (found it right next to where he was working). When I asked about maintenance of the battery backup (adding water periodically) he said this type of battery wouldnt require that. A quick peek at the instructions said otherwise. Informed him that the lid had been sealed with silicone due to our radon issues, i discovered after the fact that rather than resealing, he stuffed back the old silicone he had cut out. And to top it off, I found the heavy power cord resting on top of the Float, which would prevent it from rising and triggering the pump to come on. Overall the quality of work was very poor. Customer service on the phone was good and courteous, and response was quick. Felt it was quite overpriced, though I was not in a position to get other opinions and ultimately agreed to the job. Again, i can't speak for the other plumbers or the company as a whole, but i feel i got a dud.
