Woke up to a blocked sewage drain pipe; all sinks, showers, toilets were unusable. Called QNS at 8:20 AM. Quincy arrived as promised within 2 hours (on a holiday weekend)! He identified the problem and came up with a "plan A" and if that failed, "plan B" (plan B would have been about twice as costly). Plan A was successful, price was exactly as quoted. Quincy was very professional, courteous, neat (cleaned up when the job was finished), and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I had a backed up sewer line. I cleared it a week ago, then again last night. This morning it started to back up again. I called QNS and spoke with Quincy around noon. He was on another job, but agreed to stop by my house when he was done. He arrived at about 8pm (this is a Friday!), explained what he would do and started to work right away He found and cleared two root blockages. He answered all my questions, and also looked at my master bathroom for a future remodeling project.

It was an excellent experience. Their service was excellent, prompt, they know what they are doing and their price is very reasonable. They also are very accomodating with their scheduling.

QNS arrived on schedule to perform services. QNS installed a water powered base pump that my husband and I had previously purchased. This was installed as a back up pump to our sump pump. He replaced the main check valve, installed the shut off valve for water pump with check valve. We have tested this pump routinely throughout the year and it still works great. Thankfully, it has not been needed in an emergency situation up to this point but it does provide us with a piece of mind if we need to leave our house. QNS did an excellent job and was very professional. Thank you!

It was a week after Hurricane Sandy, my shower knob broke. Knowing that most plumbers would be busy in the restoration process, I gave Quincy a try. He answered my call and worked around his busy schedule to fix my shower knob. He came the same week and fixed the knob within 30min. Very courteous and patient, he also explained why it broke and how to fix it if my other shower knob broke.

Quincy and his co-worker performed work on our jacuzzi leak and fixed it permanently. We have been using the jacuzzi ever since and never has a single issue,

I did not contract with QNS, but their responsiveness is excellent, and the other reviews I read would not have me hesitate to hire QNS in the future. He was very professional.

We discovered a leak from our upstairs bathroom and located its origin. Quincy came to our house and provided a quote to fix the problem. He was on time and acted very professionally. His actual expenses didn't deviate from his quote. We were very pleased with his services and would use him again.

Quincy is very punctual and professional. I decided to call him after reading his good reviews. He came on Sunday as I was not available on any week day and removed all fixtures that needed to be removed and hauled away with him. He then installed everything we had purchased on-line very neatly. We are very happy with our upgraded powder room and kitchen area. Will be using him in future again for all our plumbing needs.

We had a clog in the main trap exiting the house. When you flushed the toilet or ran the sink water, it would back up into the utility sink in the basement. Quincy was able to come at my requested time on the same day that I called. He was professional and did the job (cleared the clog). He cleaned up and left the area as he found it. We are very happy with this company.

Quincy brought his own shoe covers and put them on immediately upon entering my home without being asked, showing the utmost respect for me and my house. I knew the brand and type of toilet I wanted and assumed the color. Quincy brought the toilet but told me before installing it that the color would not match my decor. He returned later the same day with the right color at no extra charge for extra travel. He can consider me as a repeat customer for my future plumbing needs. Thank you, Quincy!

As Hurricane Sandy approached, I knew I was going to have to have a backup sump pump installed to avoid a repeat of Hurricane Irene. I called Quincey and he came out to give an estimate on having a positive pressure sump pump installed. Although it was the weekend of the storm, Quincey came out as promised to install the pump. (Note that these sump pumps operate without any kind of electricity. As long as you have pressure from city/county water, it will work.) Once again Quincey came through. He left the area clean, showed me how to check the pump monthly, and the price was very close to the estimate he'd given me. Although the electricity did go out, I don't think there was enough rain to send the backup pump into action. Still, knowing it's there gives me tremendous peace of mind. I would definitely recommend QNS Plumbing.

The plumber showed up on time. It had rained a lot the week before and the job required going in and out of the house and I was worried about mud being tracked into the house but he was very professional and neat. He even checked another faucet for us.

Quincy did a good job, was prompt and very courteous. I highly recommend him.

QNS is very professional and punctual. Quincy took the time to listen to what we were looking for and made good suggestions to what really needed to be done. I can't give A's all around because we had one problem with the backup valve. About 2 or 3 weeks after it was completed, we found a small leak. As soon as we identified it, we called Quincy and he was at our house first thing the next morning. No charge to fix the issue. We will still use QNS again in the future.

QNS Plumbing was called as a recommendation from Angie's List to investigate the source and repair a water leak from an unstairs bathroom onto the 1st floor dining room table. Quincy arrived on time Monday evening to look at the situation and arrange for a day repairs could be made. Wednesday, as planned, he arrived within the promised time frame, proceeded to diagnose the problem and proceed with repair, which was installing a new toilet. Quincy is professional, methodical and thorough. He is a man who obviously takes a great deal of pride in his work, and does it well. He is confident, not arrogant, and I never once had the feeling that I was being gouged or misled. This leak has apparently been dripping for a long time, so there was extensive moisture under the bathroom tiles which appears to have wicked into the adjacent wall. Because of this, Quincy was not entirely convinced there isn't another secondary problem, but so far, two days later, the dripping has stopped and the wet areas on the subfloor, as seen from below, appear to be drying. There are no new areas of moisture. Quincy advised to keep the ceiling open to allow complete drying of the beams and subfloor, and for easier detection of the source of any further leakage. We will listen to that advice, then begin our search for a good sheetrock contractor! (Oh, about the price not being rated as "excellent" - I think we all feel we're at the mercy of certain tradesmen when we know very little about their crafts, so have a tendency to feel we're overpaying. An excellent rating, in my opinion, would almost have to mean either next to nothing, or I would have to school myself completely to understand in detail the work being done. I believe I paid a very fair price because I trust the integrity of this provider.)

Second floor bathroom had a leak thru the ceiling. Guy carefully opened the ceiling, spotted the problem right away. It was rusted drain pipe from the bath tub. He had the part in his truck. He did cost estimate on the spot, let me know the price. After our verbal agreement, he replaced the bad pipe and connector, cleaned up. We had an easy credit card payment/ transaction via smartphone. It was flawless.

Dealing with QNS Plumbing and Quincy was my first experience with a service provider and the entire experience was excellent. I will be using QNS Plumbing again to unclog sluggish drains in my bathrooms, actually I will use Quincy for ANY and ALL my plumbing issues. I would recommend QNS Plumbing to anyone who has plumbing issues because I know that the Quincy will do the job and do it excellently. Quincy called me the night before to confirm our appointment and called me again the next morning to let me know he was running late due to a problem with his truck. When he arrived he apologized for any inconvenience his being late may have caused and gave me a discount on his already very reasonable price quote. Quincy completed the work quickly and left everything as clean as it was before he started his work. Quincy, thanks for a truly wonderful experience!!!

Heard a gurgling out the back window and discovered the clean-out vents on the sewer line were backflowing, creating a lake of poo up against the house. Panicked, we called QNS around 8pm and immediately got in touch with Quincy. He said he could come out the very next day (whew!) between 10 and 1. He arrived at 10:30 and after taking a look said he couldn't tell immediately whether the clog was closer to the clean-outs or further in the line toward the street. He gave us the pricing for each scenario and upon approval got right to work. The clog was between the two clean-outs, in a horseshoe trap. He snaked it out within 10 minutes. He also went the extra mile and shoveled the area clean. He didn't have to do that, and I was impressed (and relieved) that he did. He also gave us a 90-day guarantee, so if we experience another clog he will credit us the cost of today's work. He responded in a very timely manner, was courteous and professional, and made us very happy. We will absolutely call him again if we experience any other plumbing issues.

Excellent service. Called around 6 p.m. on a Tuesday evening because our basement toilet was clogged. QNS answered right away and said they would arrive between 8 and 8:30 p.m., which they did. We had a pretty bad clog that took a good amount of snaking to clear, it took a while. Toilet was cleared and Quincy double checked it by flushing a large amount of toilet paper. All clear. Very pleasant, courteous and professional. Would definitely use again.
