We have used Quincy in the past and were pleased with both his prices and with the results. He came out to see what we needed done and gave us an estimate. As his prices were fair and in line with what we expected, we hired him again. His schedule was backed up, so it took a little time before he was able to get to us. Once he did, he came and did the job. I was missing a few parts that he needed, so he had to come back to finish another day. Again, we were happy with the work he did for us and we would definitely use him again.

I was looking for someone to replace two sump pumps with newer ones with more capacity. I got four plumbers to come to my house. QNS showed up at the appointed time, I explained what I was looking for(1/2 hp pump in one pit and a 3/4 hp in the other pit - actually this configuration was suggested by QNS). QNS told me that the quote for the work would arrive via email. The quote did arrive with several different brand pumps but there was no quote for 3/4 hp pump. I wrote QNS back and they replied that their suppliers do not carry 3/4hp pumps so he would have to find one. A day later I did not receive any quotes so I wrote back to QNS and was told that I should probably look on the internet to try find one as that may work out cheaper for me. I also spoke to QNS by phone(I left a VM initially and the call was returned promptly). I was impressed because all other plumbers I asked would not let me buy my pumps(more profits for them). By this time I had also received quotes from all the plumbers and I was going to give the job to QNS. As I was looking for the 3/4 hp pumps I started to realize that perhaps 3/4hp pump will be an overkill. Just to confirm I called one of the manufacturers(Liberty) and talked with their pump specialist. He basically told me the same thing. After comparing different pumps form several different manufacturers I settled on the Liberty 1/2 hp pumps. I ordered the pumps and wrote an email to QNS that the pumps would be arriving next week and I would like to set up an appointment for the work. I also sent the link to the pumps so that QNS can have a look if they wanted to. Meanwhile I was looking for check valves(I wanted the silent ones as my current ones go "BANG" when the pumps go off). I had a question regarding the check valves so I did write to QNS to clarify. The pumps arrrived 5 days later. Meanwhile I did not receive any communication from QNS regarding my email the week before or my VM that I had left. After the pumps arrived I wrote QNS again and left another VM. I even wrote in my email that if they were not interested in doing the work then just let me know. Still no reply. So over the last two weeks I have not received any phone calls or emails from QNS. As if QNS has disappeared. So I was stuck with two pumps and two check valves. I finally had to go thru another round of plumber evaluations and went with another plumber who has done some work at my house. I would never contact QNS again.

Contacted Quincy on a Sunday afternoon at 1PM to let him know my hot water heater needed immediate attention and likely needed to be replaced. He answered promptly and let me know he was on another job but was finishing up shortly and would be by within 45 minutes. I was immediately surprised at his response as I originally assumed I wouldn't see him until maybe Monday at the earliest. He came on time, made the necessary assessment, and fortunately for me he had the replacement unit available in his truck. He immediately began the installation was finished by 5PM! I was amazed at his efficiency! I highly recommend QNS (aka Quincy Spann) to anyone looking for a reliable, punctual, and reasonable plumber in our area. He was a very nice person and a pleasure to do business with.

QNS did not show up at all. I received a phone call at the end of the day stating that they had actually booked me for next week on the same day - which would have been a little more believable if that date wasn't the 4th of July.

Quincy, responded quickly and came when he was scheduled. i just moved into an old victorian and immediatly had issues. He looked at it and advised to use the plunger because of the old pipes, after a while of plunging it is drained better. Quincy did not charge me and gave me advise. He was excellent!

The first two repairs/replacments were done at my mother's home. We were so pleased with the work that we called QNS when we had problems at home with our drain and the lack of hot water in the bathtub. Cleanup was great. Prices were great. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend QNS or to use them in the future.

Although he was late for the original appointment time, Quincy called to apologize and provided a new timeframe within about an hour. It was a rainy day and I appreciated the fact that he covered his shoes with cloth slippers to protect the floors in my home. He diagnosed the problem almost immediately, something that a previous plumber had be unable to do at all. He fixed the problem quickly and efficiently and gave me a discount on the price quote that he had originally provided. I realized later that I had forgotten to give him my Angie's List coupon, but the discount he gave more than compensated. I will definitely call QNS for any future plumbing issues!

QNS provided me with two quotes for this back up system. Once I determined which system we wanted Quincy came the day scheduled & installed it quickly. He removed the old system & took with him. Quincy is always polite & returns calls timely. I've used QNS Plumbing before & have received fair prices on the other jobs.

Left a voice-mail for QNC, received a phone call from Quincy on 6/7/13, scheduled estimate for 06/10, between 8:00-9:00am, purposely stayed home at appointed time. No one showed up. Tried calling the office to hear automatic greeting. Can't make it, why don't contact the client to reschedule.

The work was done in a very timely and competent manner. I was very pleased with Quincy as he was pleasant, courteous, on time and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend QNS Plumbing to anyone in need of his services.

He had to cut a hole in the wall which was preferable to messing with bathroom tile. He removed damaged pipe and replaced it with new pipe. He exchanged an old valve cartridge with a new one I had. He completely fixed the problem in about two hours and cleaned up afterwards. This was the best plumbing experience I have ever seen. Very professional and knowledgeable. I have more work for him. A++.

As a new homeowner, this was my first "major" repair that I had to call for someone to come in to do. I was very scared and nervous in doing this. Quincy put me at ease. Quincy was very prompt and professional in making the repairs that were needed. Quincy completed the work needed; a pipe that is located between the walls and left no "visible" signs, he cleaned up after completing the repairs. I would recommend Quincy to a friend and use his services in the future.

I described work needed on the phone. We arranged to meet ASAP. I was given an estimate before he left. After accepting the estimate we arranged the soonest possible work date (2 days later). Quincy was prompt and completed the work within the guidelines that I presented. We reviewed all the work after completion to make sure all was acceptable. The quote was the bill so I gave him my charge card. He emailed me a computer copy of the bill before he left. The charge was on my credit card shortly after he left. Quincy kept a clean work area and was very personable.

Punctual. Left message early in the morning and my call was returned within minutes. He showed up within 90 minutes. It's hard to beat that service. Came out, took his time, did a thorough job and explained everything to me. Didn't try to scare me into some service contract or any other nonsense. I will use this company again and will recommend to everyone.

Quincy showed up exactly on-time for the estimate. I had water leaking from both upstairs bathrooms into the 1st floor. Within 5 minutes he had identified the problems on both. He explained what i should do to one of the problems, and that if i did it myself it would be a lot cheaper. This later proved true, as the problem was a re-chauk and shower head replacement. I respected that he didn't add in the cost just to raise the fee. For the other problem he recommend a drain replacement, and said he would use the best he knew of. he sent the estimate promptly that night, and it seemed reasonable for the services at hand. I ended up going with a short-term fix since I'm remodeling that part of the house, but i would definitely use Quincy again.

Have called them on 4 occasions due to such good reviews on this list. Each time I left a message, this last time explaining that I had a pretty serious issue. Never received a call back, even to say they were too busy. Very disappointed.

Picked the name from the list at 11:30; called at 11:45am; work done by 1:30pm. Excellent work. Highly recommend.

Quincy is the BEST! He is very professional, very knowlegable and excellent trouble shooter. He knew what my problem was right away after a few questions on the phone. He went beyond his call of duty - while shutting off the water he noticed that the meter was still moving. He found that one of my toilets was overflowing and was continously running water. Quincy adjusted it to stop the flow. On a previous occasion he replaced a flap in an other toilet and did not even charge for the service call. A plumber like Quincy is a treasure for anyone, but for someone like me who is not handy it is even more important having a plumber I can trust.

Quincy went above and beyond my expectations of a plumber. Not only was he very professional but he was extremely patient when an issue came up with my gas supply, probably due to its fifty year age. I was able to get PSE&G out later in the day to fix the issue so Quincy could finish the installation. Due to this issue, Quincy probably spent the majority of his day working on the installation and patiently waiting for PSE&G to arrive and resolve the problem. I will most definitely hire Quincy again for anything plumbing related and would recommend him to all.

I didn't know where the leak was, the plumber has to look for it, he was able to find it right away. Luckily the damage was not that extensive as I thought. He replaced the pipe with a Copper one. He as very thorough and explained everything that he was doing - very happy with his service.

Quick response to request for quotation. Completed the work quickly. Cleaned up after. Very courteous.

It's okay, but there was an accident when installing. He was sawing to make more room for the dishwasher to fit in, but the saw slipped and cut into the backing for the counter top, creating a crack. He tried to fix it, but could not. Overall, the work was good, but the accident dampened the overall experience.
