I called George's and explained the problem. The gentleman asked me a few questions (model #, make, age of fridge) and then asked me to hold. He suggested that I try to clean the compressor (and explained how to do that) and that it might fix the problem and if not he would be happy to have someone come to take a look and give me an estimate. Most companies would have just come and charged me $100-150 to clean the compressor. I cleaned it on my own and my fridge is working again! What a nice, honest, reputable company. They will be my first call next time- forget Sears!

Fixed a non-working oven. First visit, $65, diagnosed the problem: needed burner and igniter. Second visit installed the items. One week in between, to order the parts. My only complaint: the first $65 for coming out should have been applied to the labor on the second visit, which only took 20 minutes to install the parts.

I noticed that my refrigerator was not cooling in the early evening. I called George's as soon as they opened the next morning and a technician visited before noon. He discovered that the thermostat was broken and he replaced it. The repair was completed in less than an hour. The technician even cleaned up after himself. The problem was solved.

waiting on parts for stove and dishwasher. Serviceman was informative and professional. A very refreshing experience compared to the other service people I've had to deal with in NJ. Most of them are stunningly dishonest.

I used them and it worked out really well. There was a little bit of annoyance first because I had researched online what the problem was – a particular circuit board had gone bad but they would not take my word for it. They made me go home and try unplugging and re-plugging the stove first because they said sometimes that solves the problem. It didn't solve the problem but if it had, it would have saved a lot of money for me. So, it was nice that they suggested that. They were punctual and came right when they said they would.

Decided not to replace condensor and bought new refrigerator.

It took George's many weeks to locate and receive the part, but once received, all went very well.

Called them-unable to leave a voicemail requesting service. I had to call during set hours. This adds to the process to get service arranged. Also, there is no email or online way to reach them. They are unable to provide quick service. They are able to accommodate service that is pre-planned in advance. They were good in confirming a late cancellation and were able to reschedule and do the work on a Saturday, but I had to plan for staying home a full day, because they were unable to give a set service time. I basically lived without a functioning dishwasher for 2 weeks, and had it repaired after I returned from a trip. They did arrive within the time span indicated, and repaired it quickly. Since a circuit board had to be replaced, I assume the high cost related to the replacement of the board. Time was less than a 1/2 hour to repair it. The issue is that in less than 2 weeks after the repair, the same symptom has shown up again. I need to reach them, and this time, there is not even a voicemail to let them know the same problem occurred after they repaired it. I will have to, again, take their phone number with me and call from the road while I am working. No initial estimates were provided for the service call, or even an assumption of the cost range. The service person was very professional and clean, and no nonsense.

Very professional. Came next morning when they said he would on a Saturday morning. Needed to come back and order a part. Explained everything. He told me to double check and search for my original appliance to see if the service was covered under warranty and it was, even though the Amana representative on the phone told me it wasn't. SAVED ME $500 because he said I should really try and find the book and I did and lo and behold it said it was covered. 2nd repair person also very prompt and professional, did a great job. Also, fixed minor problems like the arm on the ice maker. I would definitely use again.

He was able to reverse the switch component from one side to the other enabling the dishwasher to run again and did not need a new part to be ordered.

They were very nice and helpful. Came right away. Even the person on the phone was nice. Did an excellent job, completely to my satisfaction. And I found them on Angie's List!

HE HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME. IF HE CAN'T OR DOESN'T FEEL IT'S WORTH FIXING HE WILL TELL YOU. I HAVE USED HIM FOR OTHER THINGS AND MY EXPERIENCE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE SAME.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD ALL AROUND. THEY ARE REASONABLY PRICED AND THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. WE HAVE USED THEM BEFORE AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PROMPT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.
