Washing machine had stopped working. They came in, tested it, cleaned out some stuff that was jamming the drain cycle, tested multiple times to ensure it was working properly and draining properly. They carefully put everything back into place and cleaned the area thoroughly.

They are very polite and punctual. The workers sent are very knowledgeable about diagnosing the problems and take their time figuring out the exact problem. They ended up replacing the thermostat knob. So far so good. They are very honest people.

This is my worst experience with any service operator that I have ever selected through Angies list. I have worked several times with this service operator and every prior experience was wonderful.We called them, and offered several dates and times - broad times. It took them over a week and a half before they could make time to come out. I stayed home from work and gave up a vacation day. They told us 1pm on a Friday. After multiple calls to the service after not showing up, they stated oh no we meant anytime after 1pm....this is our very good repair man he has your cell phone and will call you. At 4 :53 he called and I stated its already the end of the day -did not realize this shifted to an evening service call(where my husband could have been home and I would not have taken a vacation day, waiting at home all day). He actually walked in the door at 5pm, my husband was home.My time is as valuable as the service reparimans, but he never showed any respect for that in the way he responded or treated me. The service also showed no respect in that they made no attempt to get a hold of him, determine when he might actually show up.

Overall, the experience was excellent Wish all service visits were this pleasant.

It was just the service fee and as a matter of fact I don't think they even charged us because they couldn't repair it. We got flooded in Hurricane Irene so they came to look at my dishwasher and stove. They determined that they were not repairable so they didn't even charge us for it. Their reviews were good and they were local. They were out in two or three days. They were great and they were right on time. They were really very helpful even though they couldn't fix it and they were honest with me which I really appreciated. They were here when they said they were going to be. I will absolutely use them in the future and I would recommend them to others as well.

I've been using them since the mid or late 90's. They are good, responsive and know what they are doing. I've never had to take anything back to be re-fixed.

I thought the price was worth it for whatever he did. He did a good job. He was on time and he worked quickly. He was very friendly. It was overall a good experience.

I called them to fix my refrigerator. The technician was on-time and fixed the problem within 15 minutes. The quality of service was good, except for the price.. Apart from the diagnosis fee there was also a labor - totalling to $120 (for labor alone) for the work that lasted for 15- 20 minutes.

First of all, EVELYN who took the phone call and all the details is just so professional and so helpful. Wish everyone in customer service was like her! They were so professional, and never felt like they were ripping you off. This is the second time I have used them and everytime, they never disappointed me. They will be the only go-to firm that I will call for my appliance repairs. Very honest indeed!

I called for an appointment and discussed the problem, the man spent some real time explaining and diagnosed that the unit could not be fixed and what the last (unqualified) repairman did was dangerous. All the other Appliance companies I have found will gladly come out and give an expensive estimate, and only a paid estimate. Probably telling me the same thing for $60-$90 and I would still be in the same situation. Even though it was bad news and I did not want to hear it, I am very impressed and grateful. I would definitely call again.

They showed up on time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it straight away. The cost was reasonable and the service courteous and professional.

When I reached someone (took a couple of tries) they said they had an open spot the next morning. Repairman arrived and asked questions, then diagnosed a bad sensor. He said that if the whole kit was needed it would be $350+ but if only the sensor was needed, then $250. He had a kit with him and ended up not using all of it, so he didn't charge me for all the parts. I appreciated that.

I would rate them very highly. They are reasonable and they are knowledgable about warranties, because as it turns my washer was still covered. So, they told me I didn't need it done by them and they didn't charge me anything.

They were just excellent and wonderful. I didn't spend any money because the problem was covered under warranty. They were incredibly confident and professional. I would use them again in the future too.

They arrived on time. Took a look at the freezer and immediately pointed out what the problem was.

I have a worry - free service with pseand g and had a tech come in twice to look at my gas dryer that would not heat /or stay hot for more than a few minutes. This process took a total of 2 week.!! I decided to make an appointment with George"s appliances and within two days was able to get an appointment and had already spoke to a customer service rep that gave me a few tips to try along with taking a very thorough account of my problem. The tech was very prompt and professional and within a half hour had my gas dryer up and running!

They did and excellent job. In general I was very happy.

George's Appliance has always had prompt and courteous service men. I don't know how their rates compare to other appliance repair shops, but they seem fairly reasonable to me. I have used George's for all my large appliance repairs for the past 11 years and will continue to call them in the future.

It went well. The compressor area just needed cleaning. Then the fridge started working just fine again and has worked fine since.

He then proceeded to provide advice on how to maximize the performance and provided advice on the best choice in current formulations on the market to use. We thought this was extremely professional not to charge us to come out to the house and basically give us the same information. We have used this appliance repair place several times and we have been very satisfied with their service and quality.

A serviceman from George's came out to address a problem with my Viking refrigerator. After thoroughly looking at all the possible issues, he was able to accurately diagnose the problem, which involved the need to replace one of the two circuit boards in the unit. The serviceman advised us to contact an authorized Viking service provider to do the repair, since they would be more likely to get the part in a timely manner. Because he was unable to fix the problem, he didn't charge us for the visit. It was great to be able to contact the Viking service provider and tell them exactly what the problem is and what parts they needed to bring to fix our unit. That saved us time and hassle. Although George's wasn't able to "fix" our issue, the service they provided was extremely valuable in helping us resolve the issue.

They are very reliable and they are very professional. They are reasonable in their repairs; they tell you if they don’t think something should be repaired. They are very price conscious and I go to them for everything.
