Description of Work: My microwave stopped working. I brought it in. They called me a few days later and let me know when it would be ready. They even told me that if it doesn't work in the future, get a new one. I appreciate the honesty.

Description of Work: They replaced the motor on our Bosch dishwasher. He arrived for the initial inspection and quickly diagnosed the problem then took some extra time to help with a small ticking sound problem I was having with my clothes dryer. He was able to quickly locate and order the part we needed and came back just a couple of days later to install the motor. He was punctual and got the job done in a pinch. Couldn't ask for more than that. I recommend them!

Description of Work: This was a service call to diagnose and correct a non-operational Bosch Dishwasher in our kitchen. The Service Technician determined that water in the splash pan in the bottom chassis of the dishwasher had triggered a cut-off switch. He drained the water in the pan which corrected the problem. Total time spent for this work was approximately 30 mins. He satisfactorily corrected the problem. We have used George's Appliances in the past and will continue to use them, as necessary in the future.

They are always punctual, professional, knowledgeable and fair,and they take the time to listen and explain. If something can't be repaired or isn't worth repairing, they will tell you.

Description of Work: Replaced ice maker in a Viking refrigerator. Replaced ignitor in DCS oven and replaced damage rack in dishwasher. Everything went well, technician brought parts with him so he could do all of the work that day. He replaced everything and had it all working in less than 1 hour.

They checked the serial number against their records and were able to tell me that the previous homeowner had called them out about the same issue. They were able to tell me what the issue was and the cost to repair. Great record keeping, professional and trustworthy.

Description of Work: After a bad experience with another repair service we called George about our broken refrigerator. They came that afternoon as promised and completed the repair in an hour for $330, much less than the minimum $450 ( and no maximum!) estimated cost from the guy we fired . The repair person was very professional , explained everything, and had the parts he needed based on our explanation of the problem in our initial call. If you live in this area and need appliance repair and are considering another service, I quote from the movie Beverly Hills Cop, "don't be stupid" ,call George.

Description of Work: Repaired dishwasher that wasn't cleaning properly. Before coming out wanted payment in full, but this guaranteed all parts and labor on the machine for one year. The call resulted in a new part worth $175. Pricey, but good, as he fixed something another repair person failed to.
