Arid Basement Waterproofing

Description of Work: I wanted Arid to check my pump which they had installed several years prior. They didn't seem to be interested in doing that as they preferred doing new work. The guy to whom I spoke explained that if he were to come, he would charge me fee just for coming. I didn't agree to his terms, so I withdrew my request. I felt, given that Arid performed the initial job, they at least should have checked if the equipment was functioning. Instead, they showed no interest in assisting me and wanted to charge a excessive amount of a few hundreds (don't recall the exact figure) even if I chose not to do the job at the time. Luckily I was able to figure out what was wrong. No thanks to them.

Description of Work: Dug French drains in basement and installed sump pump. They created small supplementary trenches where water would frequently come up through the concrete floor. The work they did made a dramatic difference and mitigated the problem! I can't recall the dates off hand, but it was probably around 2008.

Description of Work: We have used Arid for a number of years. They did our sump pumps (4) and the french drains. Always responded promptly if there was a problem. Everyone is a pleasure to work with.

Description of Work: 3 wall french drains with sub pump. Went fast and smooth. I wish my personal items would have been covered better as the dust from the concrete is at another level of mess.

Description of Work: Replaced French drain in basement. Arrived on time and completed the work. They recommended removing the items from the basement, which I did. It is a messy job because they need to jack hammer around the perimeter. They did provide additional coverings over the washer and dryer.

Description of Work: They installed a new, larger pump for our French Drains after the extensive damage our home suffered during Superstorm Sandy.

Description of Work: I used the AL advertised special to replace the sump pump (Lil Giant) and in addition, had the discharge piping upgraded (replaced a very old one). Pat was very responsive and Mike who came to do the work, was just great. Quality work (clean, neat, efficient) at a fair price. Would contact ARID again for such work.
