Very well. His workers were very professional. They cleaned up after their work. They laid plastic on the floor to prevent dirt from the work. Their work was done with quality and professionalism. The price was reasonable. I was very pleased and satisfied.

Arid did an amazing job! The sales rep, Mike who came out to give us an estimate was very knowledgeable and explained how the whole process worked. He was very patient answering my three pages of questions! The work they did and the equipment they installed was exactly as promised. I stressed out for so many years about getting French drains because I heard it was so messy and you get dust throughout the whole house. I followed their printed recommendations and there was virtually no dust in the floors above the basement. The Foreman, also named Mike, brought a crew of seven men and ran the job like clockwork. The job was completed in just 5 1/2 hours. They cleaned up every piece of debris and even washed down my driveway! Mike explained how the system works and left me all the manuals. I went with their backup pump and battery system, which they designed, for extra peace of mind. I would recommend Arid to anyone thinking about getting French drains. Thank you Arid!

Honest, quick, clean, professional and very friendly! I would highly recommend everyone I know who needs a french drain to use Arid! They are very fair with their prices. We are more than satisfied with all they did for us - from the initial meeting to the final payment, this is one of the best contractors that I've ever had the pleasure to work with! And the best part is that my basement has been 100% dry since the job was completed.

I called Arid when my sump pump that the previous owner left died during a rain storm. I spoke with Pat, who was extremely responsive, honest, and professional. Pat was very understanding as I explained that water had come up into the basement through the sump well. He sold me on a primary and backup pump system with battery backup and sent his crew out to my home that day. The installation took about 40 min and 20 min after the pump was installed, the water levels dropped back to normal. I have already hired Arid again to come back and perform a liner install around the pump and will look to Pat and his team in the future for all my basement waterproofing needs.

I did my homework before selecting a basement waterproofing company and went with Arid. I'm glad that I did. Admittedly, this is a dusty, noisy, messy job. The crew was polite and professional and they treated my property with care. My water issues were during periods of extreme rain, which I have yet to experience since they completed the work. I'm confident that the system will work just fine when needed. From start (work estimate) to finish my experience with Arid was as good as could be expected. Their field workers did a great job installing the French Drain and sump pumps. Actual work was done mid-July 2018. Unlike 2 other estimates I rec'd, Arid provided me with specific(written) information as to what I should expect during the job and after. They also laid out what we needed to do as homeowners to lessen the impact of the dust that was to be created. I found their entire staff to be timely, professional and personable and willing to answer all my questions. If I should need additional work of this sort, Arid would be my first phone ccall.

Did a great job, thorough, good cleanup and were careful not to make a mess on our main floor. Came back afterwards to flash the french drain to see if that helped reduce our radon levels. Really nice guys, would highly recommend.

Arid put in a French drain and a subpump in the basement of our business. Arid was timely, very informative, kind, efficient and affordable. Customer service was outstanding! I would definitely recommend to anyone! Job well done!!

The project went smoothly. Arid came on time, completed the work over two days with minimal dust. The original bid had two pumps in the design. After the foreman got on site he discovered we really only needed one, saving us $300. Overall quite happy with the work.

The job went as described. The crew covered the items that could not be removed from the cellar. It is a dusty job so you should remove all things when having this type of work completed in the home.

The previous owner of our property used his French drain installation as a selling point, but shortly after we moved in we found water in the basement after a storm. It turned out that the "French drains" were a trench at the edges of the basement and a sump pump. The drains were not piped to the sump pump. We had Arid install real French drains with pipe to the sump pump well. Thus was in 2005 and we have not had any water in the basement since. Pat explained the job well and his team performed it quickly. They cleaned up well afterwards. The pump finally gave out last night (after almost 12 years). Arid is going to install new one on Friday.

Excellent service all around. Having a French Drain installed is disruptive, but the work was done quickly and expertly. When I had some questions later they sent some one out to take a look and help me. I'm very pleased with Arid.

Pat thoroughly inspected the property inside and out and made holistic recommendations to solve the suspected water problems. He was very professional and took time to explain his recommendations and considerations. Unlike the other companies I met with, he also provided options depending upon my budget and desire to start small or big and was willing to recommend a contractor to take down and rebuild the finished part of my basement. Overall estimate was comparable to others, approximate cost was for full basement and several windows. I ended up choosing a different company but the choice was close. I'd recommend contacting Arid when considering basement waterproofing.

They were so professional and they made sure everything in the house was perfect. He went around the house with a stapler just to make sure nothing would fall. He was really great. I was so happy with them. There was only one thing I wasn't sure of and I thought I wanted it in a different spot and I changed my mind and they came out and put it in a different spot with no question.

The company is located in Ramsey NJ The original inspection was completed for the original cost. The additional work, a check valve was performed on the same day the tech explained that this would prevent the back- up into the slop sink. However as the tech explained this is only a temp fix. We discussed different alternatives and his Boss , mr Fusco was suppose to call me with prices. He never called. The tech who came was very polite and seemed knowledgable For this reason I would not rate this provider as reliable

What a positive experience this was! Arid is a family owned business, and they've been waterproofing basement for over 40 years. I'd gotten estimates from some larger and smaller companies, but I'm a guy with a lot of questions and the 'Arid Family," Pat, Mike, Beverly and Kara answered all of them, making a good first impression. Their price was right in the middle and seemed fair for the work that was done, which involved excavating a trench around my basement's walls, laying perforated PVC pipe, liners, gravel, re-cementing and installing a sump pump. Seven men arrived and did the job from start to finish in six hours. They were courteous and professional, took all debris away and swept clean. Mike, the job foreman, was a real gentleman and addresed any concerns I had. Pat, the owner and his cousin, came by on three separate occasions to do walk throughs and make sure everything was prepped properly berfore their crew showed up. Unfortunately, I had a finished basement which was getting water through the foundation, making life pretty miserable, these past few years. So I had to 'unfinish' it so Arid could do their job. They walked me through the process and made sure the demo work was done correctly. I'm looking foreword to 'life without water', at least in the basement and would highly recommend Arid if you're having similar problems. By the way, if you ask for recommendations they'll show you a book with hundreds of them!

It went well. I was impressed he didn't try to sell me a new pump but showed how it was getting older and should be ok for now.

It was fine. There was one of those specials on Angie's List, so I contacted them. We were able to schedule something within a few weeks. They were able to come down and just inspect. They did attempt to sell us other things, but what they were trying to sell was just exorbitantly priced and I wasn't going to go for it. Everything else would have been changing a battery. If I were to purchase it, it wasn't part of that contract. Had I purchased additional services, it would have been very high priced. It wasn't pricey for the piece that they did. The gentleman who came out was a very polite, very decent person. He was above board. He was very transparent in his dealings with us. I don't know if this is a teaser rate that they have and then they get you and then they get you good. So that we don't know. But for the piece that I've got, it was very good. I would not use them to buy the battery and do that kind of stuff.

The inspection went well. And I will be using their services!!!!

all in one day went smoothly. basement has been dry ever since!
