I hired Castle because I liked that their casement window opens slightly on the hinged side thus allowing the outside window panel to get cleaned from the inside (this is for 2nd floor windows). I’ve read reviews about their pushy “free quote” practice (hint, it’s free but you have to decide ON THE SPOT whether you want to hire them). And it is true that they are a bit pushy and also on the costly side. But that aside, the pros who installed the windows were very professional. They immediately protected everything around in the rooms and set up a plastic tarp outside to get the debris out. They worked upward of 7 hours straight (it was a big project) without as much as stopping to eat, and this, in 20F degree weather. The only thing I would mention is that they don’t come with their own generator for their power tools so they depend on your electricity, and they use a lot of it. In the case of my house, there is no outside outlet so they had to go through the door (in 20F degree weather); together with the big open hole for the windows installation, the house got really cold. Most importantly, the breaker from the outlet they used gave up. So I had to drive to get a new one and replace it. But they were helpful and assisting with their flashlights when I turned the main out in order to replace the breaker. Overall I am happy with the result and will probably hire them again for other windows.

Make sure you tell them about parking, if you don t have a driveway they have another crew that can park on the street or in an assigned spot. If not some crews have trailers attached and it s impossible to park. Happened to me, I had to get rescheduled very frustrating. Another thing ask about the weather, unless you don t want them going back and forth if it s raining they can work in the rain. Only if the weather is really bad, do they have to reschedule. I have tile throughout so rain didn t matter to me. Plus they re pretty clean and clean up afterwards. Workers are great, windows looks and seems solid, just keep on them in regards to the scheduled date and detailed they need to know to make the work seamless.

The salesman we had was knowledgeable and professional. They later sent a person to measure who arrived as expected. They assigned an installation date which they honored and arrived on time to do the work quickly and efficiently. They had a 3-man crew with one working outside, one inside, and one running for supplies. They replaced 5 windows in less than 3 hours, demonstrated the operation, and cleaned up the site. They did a good job. Like most of the window companies, they will not give you the best price first. Do not sign a contract unless they drop the price, and they will not drop the price unless you tell them you will get other quotes. I have no complaints except they failed to send me a final receipt when the bill was paid that I requested.

Awesome at explaining to my Aunt the pros and cons of various materials and installs. made get feel more comfortable about making the decision than others have. we're getting both doors (front and back) done! Thank you Castle! Using you in future as well.

If you don t mind waiting a while to get your project done, then this guys are for you.

My experience has been terrible so far. The windows were installed on 11/1. There was still a draft. Someone was sent here to evaluate. Decided I needed more caulking on the outside. Another person was sent to do that. Still getting a draft. The next set of people is due here on 12/20.

Don't bother with them. After repeated requests for a written quote from our poor salesman, they REFUSED to give me a written quote. They instead just offered to knock more$$ off the job provided I sign the paperwork right now. DO NOT USE THEM- if they won't give me a written quote, they are now worth my time.

You need to bargain with the sales rep. I did not like the insistence of having husband and wife present just to get a price quote. Overall, quality of product and workmanship was good.

Person I initially spoke with answered all my questions and educated me along the way. Day of installation, arrived at time agreed to. Very professional. Those that installed the windows took pride in their work and worked well together. Again all my questions were answered. Cleaned up. Very good experience.

Came and gave a quote on the spot. Good value and not the most expensive. The installation was done even though it was a rainy day. Very pleased with the results! The doors look great. I would recommend!

Scheduling was a problem. Product and workmanship was outstanding.

The installer came out and had our new living window (1 large center and 2 sides) completed within 3 hours. The job was top notch. beautiful!

Quality sells

Stay away...stay FAR AWAY! Incredibly rude and pushy salesman. If you want 90 minutes of the longest sales pitch for a DOOR, coupled with telling you have **terrible** everything you own is, then you will love them. If being degraded is not your thing, then, not for you. I would rather have a hole in the side of my house then hire this place...WOW...just WOW!!! $4000 for the lowest grade door... incredible. And that took me an hour to pull out of him.
