Description of Work: Pros - Gave me the best price quote on the telephone. Was available to do the work right away. Was on time, neat and very professional. | |Cons - I feel like I was nickle and dimed. An $800 price quote quickly turned into over $1000 job. I used a coupon through Angies list that said 15% off up to $500. To me that means my savings would max out at $500. What I got was 15% off of $500. Not sure how is is supposed to work so that could be my misunderstanding but I don't think so. | |Overall it was a good job but with the coupon, I still paid $975 for an $800 job. Probably would not use him again because of this.

Description of Work: We had a gas leak and had to have gas service turned off. We were desparate to get pipe fixed quickly as living without gas is a bit of a problem.. American Plumbing arrived within an hour of my call and replaced the leaking pipe. We were able to have gas turned on the same day. Very pleased! Prompt, courteous and reasonable!

+ 0 moreGave free estimate over the phone (did not visit, which was okay). Got three estimates and his was the lowest by a substantial margin. Called two days prior to confirm. Called the morning of to say they were on their way. Two guys arrived in arrival window. They made a couple safety suggestions. These items increased the cost a bit from the estimate, but this was expected since he had not visited. Actual price was still meaningfully below the other two estimates. Completed job quickly and cleaned up after. Helped move a freezer while there, as a bonus. Nice guys, professional, etc. Would use again and recommend.
