Brian and his team did an excellent job. They did all that I asked for and even did some extra cleanup that I asked for while they were here. The lawn looks great. I am very pleased with the job that they did. Brian is great. He is very pleasant to work with and very accommodating. They did everything within the estimated time frame and definitely worth the reasonable price. I would use them again and recommend they to others.

Brian Duncan and his team did an excellent job transforming dead space in my back yard into a beautiful patio. Brian was great to work with. He was responsive any time I tried to reach out, whether it was by phone, email or text, Brian always got back to me. Brian answered all my questions honestly and never tried to sell me anything extra or push me in a direction I didn't want to go. Brian used his experience to help design the patio and pick out the perfect color for the pavers to match our home. The quality of the work was top notch. Brian and his team were complete professionals. They worked long hours to get the job done as fast as they could without ever sacrificing the quality of the work. Even after the work was completed Brian continued to answer all my follow up questions. I would recommend HMD to anyone and I would use them again.

It went so well. The guys worked through the hottest days of August (100+ degrees) and stayed late each day. They cleaned up the site daily. The end product is so nice. Seriously, a work of art, priced fairly and done ON TIME! Wish I had more work for them.

Brian & his crew did a great job with my landscaping. Customer satisfaction is clearly a top priority - Brian made sure that the curvature of the new areas and placement of the plantings were just as I wanted them. Brian was easy to work with, helpful with decisions, and flexible with my changing ideas. The crew cleaned up everything when the job was complete - and I mean everything -including areas (deck and patio) that were not part of the project. I highly recommend HMD landscapes.

HMD Landscape prices are low and they are very punctual. There weekly services include mowing my front and backyard and edging the lawn.

Brian and his team did a great job where I had another landscape contractor fail. Brian not only made the right recommendations on how to properly remove the chips, but he brought in the heavy equipment to grade all of the land, tamp it down and install SOD. After the install, they quickly cleaned everything up and provided a watering schedule to manage the SOD moving forward. I would gladly hire them again in the future.

Brian was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive the entire time, provided competitive quotes and did everything he said he would. All the work was done professionally and on time. His guys were hardworking and polite. I will definitely work with Brian again and would recommend him to anyone needing landscape work.

Listened to what I wanted and did the work as requested. This was an extensive job covering the entire property and included many diverse aspects. All employees were careful, courteous and prompt. Some accidental damage to the neighbor's driveway was repaired to both the neighbor and my satisfaction. Even the neighbor said he would use HMD again!

Brian and his team did a great job with my backyard. I left the design up to Brian and I was really happy with the result. He brought over a small team of guys and the job was done in a day. I wasn't home during most of the work, but Brian sent me pictures of each step which I thought was very nice. He's very knowledgeable, has great ideas, and is very honest about the cost of things. I will definitely use him and again, thanks Brian!

Very refreshing to find a contractor who takes pride in his work and having satisfied customers. Maybe a little pricey but his hard working crew did not waste time. Angies list discount helped. Certainly would recommend and use again myself.

Brian came out twice to speak to us about what we wanted, what he envisioned, and what our budget was. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He knew we were having a lot of out of town company coming in and we wanted to surprise them with our new landscaping. ( We had none prior to this.) Brian was in the middle of 2 large jobs, but brought in a crew of 5 guys who worked for 8 hours on a Saturday to be sure we got what we wanted. Brian was right in there working along side them to make sure his vision was carried out. Our company came the next week and they were astonished at what they saw. Great reviews from us and them! Brian worked within our budget. He said no job was too big or too small and he could do a lot for us. He listened to everything we wanted and also offered additional ideas we wouldn't have thought of on our own. The entire display when finished was my wish list. 2 different maple trees, the color I wanted. Variegated color shrubs, some flowering plants, etc. Clean up was outstanding. You wouldn't know all of that had just been done. And with an Angie's List discount, was able to stay on budget. He gave us good tips on how to maintain this new landscaping. I am excited to see what blooms in the spring. Would highly recommend and would use again for any other landscaping needs.

Brian provided us with a detailed estimate before the work began so we knew what to expect. He was very knowledgeable and helped us select gravel and pavers that would work well with our house. He's a perfectionist and his work is impeccable. Our neighbors also hired him to complete some landscaping work for them and were extremely pleased with the services he provided. He definitely deserves a five star rating!

It was great. Brian was his name. He even took some junk away that I had. He knows how to do everything. He has great ideas for landscaping. They do great service, it was prompt and they have great clean up. No question is either too big or too small. He can help you with any question you have. He's been my lawn guy for about 15 years. He's an all around good guy and has neat work.

Brian did an excellent job and within budget

Brian's crew filled the backyard with 20+ cubic yards of topsoil, leveled it, laid sod in about 6 hours. Then it began to rain and they continued on. They installed additional sod where the machinery sank to cover their tracks and reinstalled the portion of the fence that they had initially removed seamlessly.

Brian and his crew arrived on time on the designated day and spent the entire day doing the requested work. I hate contractors who never return your phone messages but Brian always returned both phone calls and emails in a timely manner. We'll be using HMD again in the future.

Words cannot express how incredibly happy my husband and I are with the job that HMD lawn service did on our property. HMD responed very quickly when contacted. The owner was prompt and punctual on his visit to give us an estimate. He carefully listened to our ideas and also gave some amazing suggestions. He answered all of our questions, spending quite a bit of time with us. He delivered the estimate exactly when he said it would be delivered. He and his dedicated team of experts where always on time, diligent with their work ethics and in my opinion went above and beyond our expectations. They all were respectful, very creative and fun to work with. HMD finished the job on time, within budget and it is truly beautiful. We sit in our backyard in awe everyday. It looks like a completely different property. THANK YOU HMD....job well done!

BRIAN AND HIS TEAM DID A VERY GOOD JOB OF DOING A FALL CLEAN UP OF OUR FRONT AND BACK YARDS. THEY ALSO CLEANED THE GUTTERS, AND PUT DOWN MULCH IN THE FRONT YARD. BRIAN WAS VERY PATIENT, AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY SHOWED UP ON OR BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT TIME. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I wish I could give Brian and his team higher than an A. He deserves an A+++++++! He responded promptly to my request for an estimate which was comparable to other landscapers I reached out to. But unlike others, he spent about an hour listening to what I wanted done and walked me through what could be done within my budget. He took measurements and pictures of the property in order to provide me with a proper estimate. Once work started, he replaced the existing fence with a high quality wooden fence. He also cleaned up a lot of weeds and debris from the yard from previous tree removals and such. He also added top soil, in both the front and back yards, in order to properly grade the yard, prior to laying sod. He also installed a matching gate with a nice cement patio (6x3) for trash cans. He re-configured the front porch and was able to reuse the old bricks in order to match the stoop. Along with installing a new pathway up to the front porch/door. (I wish I could provide before and after pictures b/c the transformation is amazing!) All and all Brian was patient with my many questions and concerns my wife and I had and would also offer creative suggestions, at no extra cost, if the original plan wouldn't work. Brian and his team were beyond AWESOME and we will definitely use him again.

Brian was recommended by our hardscape contractor. I don't know where to begin to say how happy we were with Brian and his crew. We contacted him and he was here within days to review the scope of work and give us a price. He quoted us a price to supply and grade 320 yards of fill and topsoil for our back and front yard and lay 8,000 sq feet of sod in the back yard. He also supplied and distributed 16 tonnes of stone and 10 yards of mulch around our pool and perimeter of the yard. He supplied and distributed 6,000 square feet of seed for the front yard. Brian and his crew were friendly and professional. They worked non stop through some of the hottest days. They arrived early and stayed late to finish anything they were working on that day. Brian is very knowledgeable in his profession and is willing to help with suggestions on design. Two weeks after the completion of the project we came home to find Brian and he crew at our house cutting the sod in the back. He said he wanted to be the first to cut the sod and to check on how the front lawn was coming along. I was sad to see them go at the end of the project and he reinforced that feeling when he came back to check on his work. Brian is a true professional and treats his customers with respect and kindness. He cares about the work he does long after the project is over. I can't thank him and his crew enough. I look forward to working with Brain in the spring to work on shrubs and accent pieces to complete the landscape

Work went extremely well. Lawn clean-up of leaves, etc. Shaping of flower beds. trimming of all trees, ornamental plantings. bushes and ground covers. Application of weed killer to beds, and also paver areas. Brian (Owner) is extremely helpful and responsive to all of our concerns. Workers were very professional. Everything looked great. We've been using Brian and HMD for the last 15 years and have been very satisfied with their service.

I have worked with this company for many years. HMD Landscaping helped me in creating a beautiful backyard oasis, which we were able to do over time. They also created a dramatic effect with the various landscaping scrubs and trees in my front yard. Their team of people have maintained my property year after year to maintain to look that they have created. I have recommended them to many people for various landscaping needs and will continue to do so.

Originally my driveway wasn't professionally done and it looked horrible, I was looking for a while for someone who can actually fix it and make it look good. I didn't want to waste my money again because the first company messed it up, it wasn't straight and on top of everything the concrete cracked the week after and the guy never came back to fix it. I was looking for a while to find somebody reliable to fix it and one of my co-workers recommended HMD landscapes to me. I was surprised by the quality of work and how fast they were able to make it look nice. Brian, the owner, was a very pleasant young man who explained to me the job in detail and we were able to discuss the proposal. He was also very knowledgeable and professional. It wasn't very easy to fix someone else's mistakes but they were able to make it look straight, nice the way I wanted in the first time. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and neighbors. I'm very pleasant with the result and they are actually coming to my house trim bushes next week.
