Never came out to look at the job and went off of pictures. Quoted an insane price for refacing the crumbling steps but we reluctantly agreed. Then wanted an additional $6-7k for “unforeseen issues”. Tried to tell him no and now they want to sue us. $21+k for a job that after the fact the most expensive quote I got was under $10k for a complete replacement instead of a resurfacing like they proposed for over $20k! I’m willing to pay him for the work that they did but that’s not good enough apparently.

We purchased a house that was 20 years old. We needed our concrete walkway repaired, as it sank over a period of several years, leaving the distance between steps as a safety hazard. Brian and his crew assessed the situation and did an amazing job. Besides replacing the entire concrete walkway, they also installed a railing. They did another railing in the back of the house and installed a new mailbox as well. 2 days in and we've had many compliments on both the mailbox and walkway. Another neighbor has already asked if HMD is willing to do their mailbox. No job to small (or big, as I believe they're used to doing much larger jobs in the metro area). They also kept our property and surrounding area clean. They loaded equipment and materials in and out, and it was a "busy site" for a couple of days, but when they cleaned up, you would never know they were there, except for the quality craftsmanship they left behind. The front of our house looks better than ever.

While, I didn’t end up using this contractor due to the price and distance - I would if he was closer or I had a major project. He was very professional and informative on the phone.

Brian and his entire crew are true professionals, which is hard to find in a service capacity these days. I would absolutely work with HMD again and emphatically recommend them for high-quality work, attention to detail, and overall service. - Brian spent a ton of time with me on the phone and via email at all hours of the day and evening scoping the project and making tweaks based on my questions and preference. He also has an expert understanding of horticulture and makes intelligent recommendations for planting - They arrived on time each day and kept to their proposed timelines - The work was one of high quality, which was surprising considering the variety of disparate tasks that needed to be accomplished. From customer service, to project management and scoping, to hardscaping, and finally landscaping. Experts in each of these categories - Lastly, they were all good people and I got the sense that from Brian to his crew, they all take immense pride in what they do Great experience!

HMD is an awesome company to deal with. And I will totally use them again for all projects going forward. From day one & til completion of the job, I was working with Brian. I have to say he is very responsive with phone calls, text messages and communication. I had trouble with other concrete contractors just getting them to return my initial call. But Brian would respond promptly in about 15 minutes or less. So right from the start i knew this was going to be great. The job was spec'd out to tear out & remove my old broken sidewalk & walkway. And also fix the post on my front step. Brian filled out all the necessary permits for the County (I live on a county road) and made sure things are done correctly. The day of construction and all the guys from HMD showed up on time 8AM sharp and ready to work. These are some of the hardest working guys I have seen in a long time. They put in a long day doing the demo & framing work. The next day we had the truck out to pour concrete. HMD has some master masons on staff and the concrete came out looking amazing. Super impressed by all the work that HMD did. They went above and beyond the scope of work from getting me some extra material so that i can skim coat a totally different concrete project at my house (And delivered it for free). And Brian took the liberty to basically fix and landscape my entire front lawn, after the excavator machine took out the old concrete (Most contractors would have just left the lawn as is). Overall Highly recommend. They are a great company to work with. Thanks!

Great. Brian was very helpful and knowledgable. He was on site throughout the entire project His crew was punctual and professional. The weather conditions were not optimal and Brian's experience and professionalism made the job a beautiful success. HMD Landscape went up and beyond our expectation. They solved drainage issues and when the job was completed left my property clean and seeded.

HMD landscape were fantastic! Response time very quick and always kept me in the loop and answered every question thoroughly. They were very considerate of my property and cleaned up exceptionally. I reccomend this company to anyone who needs a job done, big or small! Very respectful and understood completely what work I wanted done.

They only wanted to completely Replace the entire stairway instead of simply repairing one step and wanted to put in slate slabs. Cannot do so as our HOA board insists on consistancy throughout development.

Brian and his crew did a excellent job in planting three big trees in my backyard. I am very happy with the quality of the work, and the services they provided. They are professional tree guys. They provided quality trees, dig twice size holes, put quality soil in the holes and then put two sticks on the tree side to fasten it, finally put multch around the trees! The new trees look beautiful in my yard. A+ landscaper! Brian also has good knowledge about tree cares and he is patient with questions!

As expected. Brian was very informative ahead of the project and left a great impression in knowing what he is doing. Him and his staff were professional and work was performed in a timely fashion to our satisfaction. The patio and walkway are beautiful and we highly recommend him and plan to use Brian for other projects.

Brian and his team did an excellent job. I couldn't be happier. They were able to schedule me right away, and were at my home promptly at 8 am to begin to tear out the old sidewalk and put in the replacement. It was a big job since I decided to put in a sidewalk on the side of the house as well, but they stayed at it and finished the whole job at about 7:30 that evening. They also protected the new cement walk with plastic since it was to rain the next day. I highly recommend Brian. He does professional work.

I've used Brian and his crew for a few projects around my home and he's my go to landscaper for any outside needs I may have, like my latest project. Due to long-winded explanation, I had Brian replace all of my plastic, vinyl fence brackets to metal ones. And thanks to my new neighbor, we planned to have Brain move our fence to reclaim the 2 feet we lost to the previous owners fence on one side. Turns out Brian's survey was correct and my neighbor was wrong. Even though my neighbor cost me more money in labor, Brian did a great job at reinstalling my fence and I have confidence that that fence won't move for a long long time. I almost wish I had to do the same to the other side. :-) And all during this process, Brian had an open line of communication in regards to when this project would start b/c we had many delays, mainly the brackets being out of stock for a few weeks. All and all, Brian and his company are great at what they do and are meticulous in their work and provide a solid finish product.

I have to say, Brian was very attentive to every question we had. He explained exactly how the job would be done and helped us understand the process. The workers were very knowledgeable, extremely polite and made sure everything was cleaned up after each day. Several delays were caused by rain, but in the end the project turned out better than we expected. Brian delivered on his promise and the end result is truly amazing. We would recommend HMD without hesitation.

These guys were great. Our house looks great and have received many compliments on how nice the looks. They completed in the time frame discusses. They cleanup after themselves, unlike our last painters. We are going to call them back to paint the interior of the house in the fall.
