Our next door neighbor is looking for a heating/ac company-saw the Warren truck in my driveway. He came over and spoke with Walter and is now scheduling an appointment. I would recommend Warren Heating and Cooling to anyone.

It was a pleasure to work with Warren Heating . They were patient, pleasant, professional and efficient. We reviewed 5 companies and chose Warren Heating. Warren Heating had quite a few great reviews on Angie's list, and that encouraged us to include Warren Heating in our search for a company.We chose Warren Heating because of many reasons , the first meeting was pleasant , professional and not pushy in sales style. Warren Heating offers a products with a wide variety of efficiency levels. They prices were reasonable and competitive compared to the other companies we reviewed . They arrived at 7.45 am on the agreed date and completed as promised with in the same day @ about 4.45. Drop cloths were placed in the areas they would travel with equipment . The furnace and air conditioning units were explained, the maintenance procedure was explained ( which includes change a filter only once per year ! ), the thermostat was reviewed and programmed for us . All questions were answered . Copies of all we signed were provided .Even a self addressed envelope was provided for rebate documents that were to be returned to them for their completion and mailing . We are pleased .

They came out for the consultation. They tried very hard to match us up with what we needed and wanted. They put together a great package with different options to choose from. They even helped us to pick units that had rebates on them. The installation went smoothly. They were prompt and neat. They were very friendly and professional. It was especially nice to see them acknowledge my son who was amazed by the work and equipment. I was very pleased with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I would definitely recommend Warren Heating and Cooling, and I plan to use them again in the future when I need to replace my second floor AC/furnace unit. When I called to schedule the estimate, I was able to schedule it right then, rather than waiting for a phone call back (which is what happened with some other companies I called). The estimator came right on time, and did a very thorough inspection. He didn't give me the estimate right then, I was told someone would contact me the following week to discuss it with me. At first that annoyed me, however they were able to work around my schedule, and when I saw that their estimate was by the far the best of the three quotes I received, my annoyance fast disappeared. I called on a Wednesday, and was able to schedule the installation for the following Monday! The installation itself went well. They were very professional and placed tarps on my floor to protect it from dirt, etc. They also have great financing options! Very satisfied customer!

I will not use them or recommend them.

I called several companies on a Monday that had great ratings on Angie's List and were close to us to service two air conditioners that were not working properly. With temperature forecasts in the high 90s for Wednesday and Thursday, we needed it fixed ASAP, especially since my husband was about to have major surgery. Every company could not come until 1-2 weeks. When I called Warren Heating and Cooling (who also had a great rating) on Monday afternoon and explained our situation, they said they would send someone on Tuesday between 3-5 pm. The servicer arrived at 4pm, was very polite and replaced a part that was broken. He actually had the part with him and didn't have to wait for it to be ordered! We also were very low on freon and he added it to both units. Today is the second day near 100 degrees and both A/Cs are running great!

The service professional was early for the appointment, diagnosed the problem promptly and went to work. Afterwards he explained what the problem was and how he solved it. I would definitely use them again. The only reason for the B grade is responsiveness was due to the fact that I waited a week for repair (which was the first available appointment) due to the sudden heat wave in late May.

I like them a little better, they give me a better impression. I can say that they are professionals. Also they did not try to sell me anything and took my need at assess value, so they made a better impression than the other contractors. And I am not yet decided if I'm using them or not.

Very well. Rep was very knowledgeable and provided a detailed estimate with all paperwork. Communication with central office was excellent and job went smoothly without a hitch. Seems like I was guided to a very good system with good value for the price.

An excellent job. The estimate was very professional. All questions were answered, and they knew just what was needed. They told us about some special offers that saved us alot of money. The installers started on time and finished on time. They were extra careful in the house (used drop clothes, etc), and removed all debris, packaging, etc. The Carrier Infinity system is great. It runs almost silently. I am looking forward to a cool summer.

I have used this company for a number of years and I think they are wonderful.

My furnace failed on Monday and another company performed a diagnostic on it and declared it unsafe for further use and a replacement was needed. I immediately solicited three bids, one from Angie's List, one on a recommendation from a friend and the last from the contractor who diagnosed the problem. To my surprise I received response from all three that day but Patrick Brown, Warren Heating and Cooling's rep was the first on the scene, within one hour of my call. Patrick understands you only get one chance to make a good first impression and he did that very well. Patrick got right in to my basement to assess my needs plus performed a whole house energy audit. He went back to his shop to crunch some numbers and plan a few options for me to choose from. In the meantime I received a fax quote from Styker Heating and plumbing, the original diagnosticians, for their replacement. My friends recommended HVAC contractor, the third quote, drove quite a distance to my house from Irvington. He was very knowledgeable and friendly but he couldn't put together a quote until the following day and with February's uncertain weather, I didn't want to wait any longer than I had to. Patrick phoned me later that day and said that if I wanted, Warren could be on job the next day installing my new HVAC system. This was a powerful carrot and since all the quotes eventually were within 1K of each other for similar equipment I decided to go with Warren and get the job done sooner. Although I don't like to be pressured into making a quick decision, it turned out to be the right one. I was told to expect the installers to show up at 7:30 the next morning and at 7:18 a Warren truck was pulling up my driveway. The technician got right to work on removing my old HVAC system and within 20 minutes another truck showed up and he started to work on another part of the system. Throughout the day various Warren trucks where in and out and work continued non stop until lunch when the installers took a break but were back on the job in about 45 minutes. These guys are no nonsense, no time for idle chit chat guys. They were there to do a job and get it done. By 5:30 that evening I heard rumblings of my new system being tested and by six it was up and running and the last man left at around 7pm. I didn't think it could be done in one day but they did it without have to comeback to take care of loose ends the next day. The work area was left in clean condition except for some loose sheet mental screws lying on the floor near the exit to the crawl space. Bravo to Warren for their excellent performance from start to finish! One gripe I have and this pertains to a lot of service people today not just to Warren's. It seems almost every service truck leaks oil in my driveway. In the last week I've had three trucks from different companies come onto my property and leak oil. One of Warrens trucks had a small leak and it makes an unsightly mess that is very difficult to clean up. Like i said they are by no means the only culprits but I wish more businesses who use trucks to deliver services would check their trucks more often for this problem. Rant off ;>) UPDATE: I just received a call from Dawn at Warren and she was very apologetic about the oil left on the driveway by their truck and offered to send someone out to clean it up. I told her it wouldn't be necessary but if they could just fix the truck so that the next person isn't inconvenienced that would suffice for me. Again, Warren has proved to me to be an exemplary company to do business with! Oh, my new system is purring like a kitten :>D

I purchased a two family house that only had one heating system for both apartments.I contacted two plumbing companies to get pricing on adding natural gas to the home and split the heating system by adding a new boiler.I also wanted to split the water so each tenant would be responsible for paying their own utilities.Well they seemed like they were making the job harder that it was so I heard about Angie's list and decided to try their service.That's where I found Warren Heating and Cooling. WOW ! I met Paul at the house. He looked around said no problem. Gave me a fair price and his crew did a fantastic job.Very professional. To sum it up if you want a company that will charge you enough money to pay their mortgage for a year on a 2 week job this company is not for you. If your looking for a fair,honest and very professional company look no further.

I contacted Warren Heating and Cooling using Angies List. The overall experience from start to finish had a common thread - end-to-end quality. The Salesperson was very courteous and was a couple of minutes early for the initial appointment. He did a detailed "heat loss assessment" of the home, which included detailed measurements of the home. They promptly sent the quote on the agreed timeline and the quote was competitive and most importantly CLEAR. The salesperson promptly followed up subsequent to sending the quote and answered all my questions. On the day of the installation, the service people arrived promptly on time, ensured that the work was completed with minimum disruption. The ensured that high traffic areas were covered with drop cloth. All debris were cleared prior to the completion of the work. They explained the system in detail to me after the work was completed. The ensured that the application of permits as well as tax rebates were completed and I practically did not have to do any of the paperwork(except for the signatures). They were very professional at all stages of this contract. I recommend Warren heating very highly and will continue to use them in the future.

Overall this was almost an A. Customers should know about the issue with the bank credit limit - the sales person should have said something about this up front, or better still, he should have done something on my behalf so I don't have to waste my time applying for additional credit. He said this always happens - so Warren should try to make this clearer to customers. I would have bought the better - and more expensive - unit but I thought Warren should have made the extra effort to make that easier for me. I don't know what to make of the installation error that led to a service call 10 days after installation . A follow-up phone call from the office after the repair would have helped smooth this out becaue right now I have my doubts that everyone from this company is fully trained to install - and repair - something they are working on every day. They advertise the most expert level. A phone call to say they regretted the error and that the installers would get additional training to avoid the issue happening again would have been a nice touch to restore some confidence in them. With only one month into ownership, I really like the nice quiet, clean unit for heat, but have to give Warren a B instead of an A for the above reasons.

Very prompt and professional. Answered all of my questions very thoroughly. Explained all costs in detail as well as all rebates and warranties. Arrived promptly at 7:30 a.m. on installation day and stayed throughout the day until the entire job was completed. Almost 11 hours. They were very clean and respectful of my personal property as well as my schedule.

We solicited three bids for the job. Warren was prompt, polite, and professional. They presented us with three options and were very comprehensive in their assessment of our home's requirements. Once the bid was awarded, the work was scheduled and we began the process of obtaining permits with Raritan Township. Unfortunately, we did have a couple snags with this as Warren was not completely familiar with RT requirements. This was all easily cleared up, however, and we rescheduled the work for the following week. On the day, Warren was promptly on time, the work completed early and our house was left cleaner than when they started. It was a professional job completed above owe expectations! It has only been a week since the installation, but the Carrier equipment installed is working like a dream. I whole-heartedly and without reservation, recommend Warren Heating & Cooling's services!

The tech arrived (without a ladder!) and needed to go up into my attic to begin work. He was very mannerly and neat, and wore booties, which is a nice thing. I was a little amazed that he had to borrow my ladder, but it wasn't that big a deal. He worked on both air conditioning units and at the end told me he added a "freon" type of coolant to the upstairs unit and that that should solve my cooling problems. As I prepared to write him a check, I remembered that I had printed out a Coupon that was prominently displayed on their Angie's List page, offering $50 off "any job for Angie's list customers." The tech did not know what to do with the coupon, and didn't seem to know what Angie's list was. He said he couldn't take it without calling the office. He called them and they advised him that I had had MAINTENANCE done, and it was not considered to be a "JOB". He could not clearly explain to me what the difference between the two were. I reminded him that even though he did some maintenance on the units, he also performed the "job" of adding the freon (which was an additional $52 on top of the quoted maintenance prices!) Couldn't he subtract the coupon from that charge? NO. I was so mad. I wrote the check for the full amount and wrote a note on the coupon for him to give to the office, saying they should change the wording on the coupon if they didn't intend to offer it for all services. I never heard another word from them, and it's now four days later. So much for Angie's list coupons. The only way this provider will get my business back is if he makes good on the coupon. Updated: 10/12/11: I WAS HAPPY TO SEE THAT MR. HEWITT RESPONDED TO MY ISSUE WITH THE COUPON AND MADE CHANGES FOR FUTURE CUSTOMERS. sORRY I DIDN'T SEE IT SOONER, OR I WOULD HAVE NOTED IT HERE. HE DID THE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT THING IN THIS INSTANCE. THAT'S GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I AM HAVING ADDITIONAL TROUBLE WITH MY A/C AND INTEND TO CALL THIS COMPANY BACK AGAIN. I WILL DEFINITELY WORK WITH THEM AGAIN.

The service guy arrived and fixed the issue with our second floor AC air handler. He then ran checks to verify that there weren't any other issues that could come up later this summer. Very thorough and explained everything in detail.

Had them come out two times- 1) service my A/C unit. Discovered that I didn't have the correct thermostat turned on (charged me $135 for this). 2) Then had them come out to quote on installation of a single-zone Mitsubishi Electric heat pump. Initially told me that it would be between $3,000-$3,500 after seeing the room and location to be installed. When I received the written quote it was for $4,350!!!

The initial conversation with the lady who answered the phone was very professional and cordial. However, I had to change the appointment to a different day and they messed that up by coming at a different time to the one we agreed upon during my second call. Then, we requested an estimate to buy a new air conditioner and they gave us one that seamed a little high; nevertheless, he said that he would give us a final price in a week, but the day of our appointment with them they called to tell us that they were running late and that we had to wait about 40 minutes for them to get to our house. My husband had a meeting that morning and told them that he could not wait any longer and that they could fax us the information. We are still waiting for it and no one has called to follow up on it.

They were excellent. The salesman explained everything and they worked out the best solution for our house. They were quick to install and very neat and clean. It works fine.

They were one of 4 estimates we received for this work. They were the most professional, and though not the cheapest quote we went with them for all the other reasons - service, etc. On the day of the job, they were on time, professional, and worked fast. Though there was a slight 'glitch' the next day, they came out immediately, fixed it, and everything works great. The sales rep even showed up day-of, to make sure the technitians got there, and he followed up that night with a phone call. We also received a thank you card a few weeks later.

Estimator arrived at scheduled time, very knowledable, and professional. Detailed estimate with all supporting material turned-around in 2 days, which was much faster than some of the competitors. Installers arrived a few minutes early and began by putting down floor covers. Removed existing furnace and airconditioner and installed new units consistent with proposal. Completed the replacement in 1 day as proposed. Competitors planned for two days. Walked through installation and operating instructions in detail. Installers were completly professional, respectful and very neat. Removed all old equipment and packing materials leaving the house spotless.
