Installation was done in 3 days. Workers arrived promptly when they said and worked all day long. They were professional and informed us if they needed to do anything that would interrupt us, such as making a bit of dust, etc.

Chris came on time and explained what he will do when he tune up the AC unit. I have an annual service (AC in spring and furnace in autumn) with Great White. I am confident they will deliver the same top notch service when they return in the fall.

Dylan and his team from Great White Mechanical came to my rescue. I had another contractor install 2 entirely brand new Central AC units that never worked. Great White Mechanical came to my home and diagnosed the problem and within a couple of hours, had my new AC units running like a couple of Swiss clocks. I could not recommend them more. Having changed all necessary parts during last 3 years, the generator is not working.

What I liked most is that the owner actually came to do the estimate as opposed to a salesman looking for a piece of the pie. The owner came across as honest and knowledgeable. His guys did a great job with the installation. Constantly cleaned up after themselves. Very competitive pricing. I would 100% recommend these guys.

Dylan and the Great White team are great to work with. Great White installed a new furnace and coil for us. From the initial consult to answering questions on the estimate, Dylan was friendly, knowledgeable and gave me confidence on the outcome of the job. He seemed to know what he was doing but he was milking the time and looking for trouble. He came to clean the furnace and he kept looking for problems. I mean, really searching and searching for a problem and the furnace is only five-years old. He left some kind of hose thing and never came back to get it. The fellow sat in the car and waited a half-hour to get the price. The service is really a little screwed up.

Dylan was responsive and came out for an estimate as scheduled. Was very professional through the walk through but then went radio silent. I've reached out multiple times to see if they will estimate the job and have never heard back.

It went great!!! I called Dylan who owns Great White. He was here in less than a half an hour. He was extremely personable, very efficient, very knowledgeable and competent. Much cheaper emergency service charge than the first contractor. He was here for quite awhile. He quickly determined that the system was not functioning properly, there was a weak air flow, for a variety of reasons. Yes, it was over 100 degrees outside with the humidity. But, the compressor cable was covered in pollen. He cleaned it off and he explained that could impact efficiency. He added a 1 lb. of refrigerant to the unit. He told me the attic ventilator motor was broken. That was really a problem, since there was nothing cooling down the attic, the roof, the sheetrock, etc. The AC had to work harder. So, he waited a while to check pressures, efficiency, and airflow which he explained to me. The house went down 1 degree every hour. He will quote me a price on the attic ventilator. I will use him to do the job. Going forward he will be my HVAC contractor.

Dylan and his wife Regina have worked with me on scheduling and all my questions as we nudge our 90 year old house into a new century. When our heater died right before the start of the season 2 years ago, they moved swiftly and helped us navigate all the problems that come with going from oil to gas all the way to helping us tell the local gas utility exactly what to do. They installed our new boiler which has already paid for itself in 2 years, they maintain it, helped with the wiring upgrade to get our smart thermostat installed and now this year will handle our AC service. They are quick to respond on email or phone.

The installation was perfect. I have no complaints about the initial install. I think the work was done professionally and couldn't ask for nicer people. I have not had any issues since and am quite pleased with their work and price. My only complaint with them is that they basically did the work and dashed! I attempted to contact them to buy service maintenance from them. Unfortunately, they were less than responsive when it came down to seeking either service or instructions on service for this unit. Therefore, I have not been back in touch with them for this and will plan not to use them in the future.

The installers were very good. They butchered one of my plants to do the service. I signed a contract for a 12 BTU unit. They were trying to install an 8 or 9 BTU unit. I called the owner who argued with me about it but eventually did get me the right unit. They did install a valve on my furnace to make up for it.

He seemed nice enough and knowledgeable but he never sent me an estimate. I called and left messages asking for the estimate, 3 times. He has never sent me an estimate or even called me back to tell me that he doesn't want to do an estimate. Nothing. I have been noticing lately with Angie's List providers in general they just don't want to come give an estimate. Even when they do show they do not seems to respect the process. It seems that since the new program where non members can pay in advance for standard services, workmen are less willing to even show up or even return phone calls, just like it used to be before Angie's List. I am starting to think Angie's List which started out so great, has hit a wall.

The men arrived bright and early and got started on the job. They were courteous of my house and were great with my crazy golden retrievers. I went about my day with my infant and had absolutely no problems. Dilan, Alex and the other two gentlemen who came were all amazing. Alex was even nice enough to ask if I needed to let my dogs in the yard despite him working out there and made sure the gate was closed which is super important to me! I found the price to be very fair and I am glad my new system is under their care. My house now feels cool and amazing! I definitely recommend them for all your AC needs.

Very professional they came out to the house the same day as I called them, and fixed the problem. I've used them once before and will use them again the future. Very friendly, professional, and courteous.

Our oil fired, steam boiler rusted out and could no longer push steam through to the house. In November '13. In the coldest NJ winter we have seen in some time. This existing system was maybe 40 years old and we knew the day would come. Once we ran the numbers: oil to gas was the only call. We found Great White on Angie's and a friend was also using Dylan for a big job. We came to find out from Dylan the job required a bigger gas line off the main service and he was with us each step through the weeks long, painful and mind-numbing process of working with PSEG. Once the new line was in- Dylan and his team dove in days before Christmas, Regina worked with us on each reschedule {all because PSEG cannot get out of its own way} and the job was done in record time. Christmas was a warm morning with the new system in place. On top of great work, Dylan and Regina are just wonderful people and make it very easy to do hard projects like ours in an old house. We will have them back for all our needs and service. I cannot say enough good things about Great White.
