This is my 1st home using a septic tank so I had a few questions of my own. The technician Robert was very professional and thorough. Explained everything in detail and was a pleasure to be around. Not once did you get the feeling that he wanted to be left alone like other company service calls we had in the past. (haha--its not like we are pest and hang around people but if you have questions, I feel they should try to answer them to the best of their ability). Would definitely use this company again!!

The technician from Zuidema arrived on time. He backed up the huge truck carefully on the downward slope of my driveway, which is a challenge. The truck was clean and in excellent condition. The cover to the septic tank was not visible, so the technician had to dig down through 2 feet of rocks and compacted dirt to locate the cover, which he did efficiently and neatly. The hoses were connected about 40 yards from truck to septic, with little if any disturbance to the landscaping. After the sludge was pumped from the tank, the technician made several good suggestions and gave me options -- one was to install a "riser" to enable easier access to the septic tank cover (I declined), another was to add enzymes to boost the performance of the system (I agreed and bought a 1 year supply for $60), and the last was to get the tank pumped every 3 years (it had been 10!). The technician checked to make sure the main drain was clear (which it was) then replaced the tank cover and filled the hole. Everything was done with care and consideration. The technician was polite, informative, and an excellent representative for his company.

He did an excellent job. He came within the agreed upon service window. He did what he needed to do. He worked efficiently while he was here. I have 3 septic tanks and he charged me $660 for the service. I shopped around and he had a good price.

I won't say he is super cheap, but he isn't any more expensive than other people. He was very good

Very professional. Lawn was minimally disturbed even though two tank covers were dug up. Courteous and efficient. Will use again. I would highly recommend them!

called Zuidema late Friday night and got live person. I explained wasn't an ermengency, just wanted to schedule cleanout. next morning early got call back and we agreed on Tuesday. I was told I would be first scheduled appt of that day, which was good for me so I could goto work. that unfortunately was the only negative part of the experience, as I later found out I was penciled in for noon Tuesday not 9am. the service individual arrived at 12:30. besides the complete miss on scheduled timing the experience was great. service individual was professional ,courteous and explained some things then helped me run some tests to make sure flow was good and no pipe blockage. didn't try to upsell me a service we didn't need as I heard some vendors may do. reasonably priced. Left septic tank area clean. worked quickly but not rushed. overall good experience, only downside was punctuality which I assume was a miscommunication within the office. i would use Zuidema again for sure, but would double-check the timing so I don't waste another morning.

Excellent, very thorough in cleaning it out. Gave me good information regarding the tank. Answered my questions thoroughly regarding covering the manholes and gave suggestions regarding water not draining quickly from my kitchen sink. I will use them again.

A very professional crew arrived, set-up the equipment and worked conscientiously and professionally until the job was done. I was with them through the project. They were courteous, professional and thorough. The problem was as diagnosed. This a company that can be trusted and delivers on their service. I am a customer for life.

My septic tank overflowed on a Saturday afternoon. I received a return call almost immediately, but because it was late in the afternoon no one could be sent out. I was promised a Sunday repair visit late in the morning. Unfortunately that day was also my grandson's 7th birthday party. When Mr Zuidema was told of my problem, he arranged for one of his men to make an early Sunday service call at no extra cost. His workman arrived, was very professional and took care of the problem very quickly. He outlined exactly what he had done and what would need to be done the next morning. Sure enough, early the next morning another man arrived to clear the inlet. This company works fast, is responsive and is caring and professional. I would not hesitate a second to use this company again.
