I had a serious carpenter ant problem in my house. Bob arrived promptly. He was able to pinpoint the problem areas and eliminate the problem. Bought the deal on Angie's list. Arrived on time. Removed the dead squirrel from my own cage. Set up additional cages. Came back in two days to move away four squirrels and reset the cages. Came back a week later to screen the entrance.

We did not have ants in our garage after he sprayed the exterior of the house and the inside spaces.

Sprayed exterior entry point and at nest in attic space, then set off insecticide bomb in attic space. Actions took care of the problem. Only short fall: I was told by technician that someone would come back in a few days to follow up but no one ever did, nor did anyone call. No show follow up was not a problem since nest was killed. Needed to plug up the hole where the hornets were getting in myself. Would have been nice if they had done it, thereby preventing a future problem at that entry point.

So far we have got two treatments done. Bob's been very responsive and professional each time. We had noticed some carpenter ants and decided to get the annual contract for the peace of mind. He has treated both the exterior and the interior of the house as part of the annual contract. Protex comes out every 3 months or as needed if you have any issues to report. Might want to give them a reminder call when your 3 month service date is approaching. Happy to report that the treatments were effective almost immediately. Overall - very satisfied with Protex so far. Hoping to keep it pest free with Protex when warmer temperatures return next year.

It was good; the guy came out and sprayed pesticide in certain places. He did the interior and exterior of the house. I think that it was good. They came out within a week. They did act professionally and were on time. I guess they did the job well.

The rep treated our basement with a spray being cautious not to spray where I asked him not to. He placed glue pads in more appropriate spots. He then treated around the perimeter of the house.

I never ended up using the provider. They do not provide service to my area.

It went very well! I purchased a deal through Angies List and almost immediately received an email from the Protex office to schedule a service call. On the day of service Bob came, explained everything clearly to me and went about setting traps and looking for areas that might allow the mice to enter the house. Once he found these areas he closed up the holes and then we scheduled a date for him to come back to check the traps. I am very happy to say we have been mouse-free ever since! We just recently called Protex again to perform a termite inspection on our house and we were again very happy with the service and professionalism!

they were punctual. They arrived exactly when they said they would. The work was done, however not the entire nest was removed. They did however destroy all the Hornets.

The provided arrived on time. Looked around the house and sprayed to get rid of the bees. By the next day, the bees were gone and I have not had a problem since.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. It was done perfectly and they came out right away. They did not really take care of the problem because there were many rats. They just came out to cover what was in the deal.

He arrived and survey his job, then told us what he was going to do. Sprayed nest, removed nest and destroyed any future infestation. He wore protective clothing while doing this job. He explained what he was going to do and it only took minutes and he was gone. Very professional and would use again.

My son had a bat flying around in his house. I checked for exterminators on my angies list. Based on terrific reviews, I told him to call Protex. He called them late in the day, Jim from Protex came the next afternoon. He inspected the house and attic and declared there was not a bat problem. He educated my son about bats. He also checked an area where my son thought there may be a carpenter ant problem. He advised there is no current ant problem. There was no charge for this inspection/consultation, which is kind of unheard of these days. We know nothing about bats or carpenter ants. Protex could have easily told us there was a problem and proposed all kinds of work. We probably would have went along with whatever they said, especially regarding bats because there is a 7 month old baby in the house. Protex obviously is an honest and responsive vendor. And, based on that integrity, we will call them again when needed and recommend them to family and friends. Thank you Protex. The McGee family

The work provided to us by Protex Termite & Pest Control Inc. was fine. There were no problems. Our rodent problem is not 100% better, but definitely close to what they said they would do. We had to do a few follow-up calls, but they came back and finished up what they needed to do. But it did require more follow-up work.

I called and described the situation (one day there were 5, the next day 10, then I came home from work one day and there were about 20 of them and I was ready to move into a hotel. The guy from Protex (I am so sorry I didn't get his name) came the morning after I called and asked to look at one I had saved, and identified them as "Cluster Flies" and proceeded to educate me on what distinguishes them from other species of houseflies / horseflies / greenflies / whatever (see their big red eyes? no I'd rather not!) and their life cycle - something about earth worm larvae or their larvae live in earth worms - I obviously tuned out after a while but it was clear that he knew his stuff and he was actually surprising enthusiastic about the subject. He figured out how they had gotten in (which made repairing the basement windows the highest priority on my list) and it seemed like there was just one batch that had hatched, I shouldn't expect any more. And there weren't. It was just nice to get such a prompt response.

The service turned out okay. There was a miscommunication. The program is not solved but the owner asked me to get a refund but I think they did a good service so I did not ask for a refund. I don't blame them.

After her recommendation and seeing the amazing reviews on Angie's List, I met with Bob and immediately contracted for his services for that day and on an annual basis going forward.
