Brent was the best pest control professional...Once I saw it, 3 days of sleepless nights until the day of my appointment..He started his inspection in the basement and worked his way up through the house. Brent was very knowledgeable and explained the areas in the house where traps should be...He also checked the outside of the home for any places something could enter...I am super pleased with Protex and Brent is officially my Exterminator! Hire this company! You won't regret it and you get a 6 month guarantee!

They came out promptly, and handled the situation professionally. I had a huge ant issue. They offered me two service packages, and I chose the 1-yr option. They came out the first time, and said that if the issue wasn't resolved in three weeks to call back. I had to have them come out one more time, and they were able to schedule me quickly. After the second application, I haven't had any more issues. It is nice that I had an entire year of service incase the ants came back.

BOB was wonderful....he scared the bat away and did not charge me for his services. Besides he was very professional very understanding and attentive to our needs.

The owner kicked my dogs (two of them) as I was trying to get them to sit. If he had a problem he should have asked me to come outside. He was nasty and extremely unprofessional. I plan to file a complaint. Do not use this company.

I had moles in my front and backyard. Robert was punctual and very helpful. He performed weekly treatments and the moles are now gone. I would definitely recommend Protex.

Brent came early and did the job quickly. He was very courteous and explained the process with my husband. I will definitely recommend them and hire them again.

We made an initial consultation appointment with Bob. He came out on the date and time we had scheduled (he was actually able to come early). He discussed our overall issue with the flea problem we were having and what we've done thus far. Based on this discussion, Bob didn't think it was necessary to treat our home; thought that we we were doing was working well however, he did highly recommend we treat our outside. We made an appointment to have the actual treatment done a few days later. The technician, Brent, came out scheduled day and time and proeceeded with the outside treatment which is a "green" treatment. In additon to what Protex did outside andour change in flea remedies for our dog, we have not seen any fleas!! There are a couple of things I feel important to highlight about this business: 1) Bob was very professional, customer focused and "listened" to our issue. 2) He could have recommended we treat the inside but, he did not, since he felt it was not necessary at the moment. I really appreciated his honesty. 3) Brent, the technician, was also very professional. Overall, the whole experience went better than I anticipated.

Make sure you request Brent who is another 5 STAR for this 5 STAR company -- If all service calls could be so perfect from beginning to end, we would all be so much happier.

Great! Took extra effort to figure out my unknown bug! Come promptly for bug spray and placing trap. Sign up year around protection plan. Now I can have a peace of mind!

The guy shows up 30 minute ahead of time though it was early in the morning I was impressed but he did not even spent 20 minutes to inspect for termite. The way he inspected I would have done better job instead of spending money on him.

We've been a Protex customer for over 10 years and they have always done a fine job. So, yearly service was always $128, but last year we forgot to call them. This year they decided to crush us for $499, evidently because we skipped a year? Nobody informed us of that last year when we forgot to call. The worst part is Bob’s customer service skills (he’s the owner). He was condescending and berating to me. When I was going over past pricing, he said “thats great, now i know you can do math!” I’m like WHAT? Buyer beware.... and you just lost a customer!!!

Nicole responded to my call promptly & set up a convenient time for inspection & estimates by Brent. The work was scheduled in short order. Bob assisted closing up holes around the roof trim. Brent handled all phases of the project - was very responsive & reassuring around my concerns &, exceeded expectations w dependable, punctual &, competent professionalism & ease. I would not hesitate using Protex services again if needed &, may also consider their preventive maintenance year-round pest control package of quarterly treatments for mice, spiders, crickets, silverfish & centipedes.

The owner came, found openings around the perimeter of the house and sealed them. He then set multiple traps inside the basement where the droppings were found and caught them all. He then brought new traps, set them again. Here we are 2 months later and no more caught. Keep in mind he will keep doing this for up to 2 years! Great service!!!

Very pleased with the service. I found my new go to Company for any future exterminator problems.

I originally called another highly rated local service who wanted me to wait a full four days for an inspector to come out and evaluate the situation. As I wrote above, the situation was clear: we had mice running around the house. I called Protex, and they offered to come out the next morning. They indeed came exactly as scheduled. The technician took me around the house, showing me where the mice might be getting in. He sealed up likely entrance spots and set a number of traps. Another tech came back one week later exactly as scheduled and cleared the traps and trimmed the foam seal. No more mice! I was very happy with the service.

Bob, the owner and technician, is fantastic. He explained what he was doing and made quick work of an active yellow-jacket nest, located in a cinder block on the border of our garden. Price was extremely reasonable. Also great communication with the office, which was all done on Angie's List messaging. Generally very quick to reply. I also used Protex several years ago to exclude mice from entering our home, and was extremely satisfied with that service as well.

Excellent. Several months after service no bees, wasps, silverfish or other bugs.

Technician was friendly and professional. He showed up on time and got right to work. He sprayed the foundation outside, the area where we thought the ant nest was at the edge of the property, front and back deck area, and the baseboards inside. Haven't seen any ants inside the house since the treatment. There was no problem with the prepaid coupon or scheduling. I would hire again. One tip if you need this service: Clear any stuff away from the baseboards ahead of time. I was scrambling a bit to make a path for him

I was very glad I signed up a deal via Angie's List for Protex. Had a mice problem (cat had caught 4) but didn't know how many more there might be. Bob, the owner, came to the house on time and did an inspection of the outside of the house. He found the likely entry way for the mice and sealed it off along with a few other entry points. He laid about 10 traps. That very night, we caught 7 more mice! He came back a few days later at an appointed time to lay some more traps but over the last week, we haven't seen or caught any more! Problem solved! Reliable and great service! Would recommend.

Nicole was very accommodating in getting me scheduled on my day off during the week. Bob showed up right on time and explained everything he was going to do inside and outside. I have used Protex for ants and mice prior to this and have never had any issue with them. All of my concerns were addressed and they are very competitive with pricing among other pest control companies. This is why I have decided to use them on a regular basis.

We no longer have mice. They found where they were coming in from and caught two of them.
