Protex is a small owner operated business,it is not a franchise of any sort. Personal attention to detail and service is our most important attribute. Normal business operations require us to use 2 trucks at any time to assure personal detail to all services that are offered. Our technicians attend multiple training seminars annually to keep up with all the new technology and most effective products that are available. Pricing can usually be given over the phone or free estimate provided when necessary. Mention Angie's List when contacting our office personal and receive a 10% discount on all new initial single service(not to be combined with any other offers). Description of Work: I found dead bats stuck on glue traps I put in our attic and called Protex. Bob the owner, came over and looked in attic and around the house to find places where they came in. A day or two later he came back with two helpers. He instructed them on sealing up the "holes". They did the job quickly and efficiently.

Wonderful.
Description of Work: John showed up on time and spent a good hour and half inspecting the basement and kitchen area. He applied a gel all around the kitchen area where the ants were coming. Then he put a powder outside around the kitchen area. John was patient and answered all our questions. We haven't seen any ants since then and hope that will be the case forever!

Everything went well
Description of Work: Brian came out for an estimate a couple of weeks ago. We decided to go with Protex because he seemed to be knowledgable in the field and the price was competitive. We scheduled a termite treatment as well as carpenter ant treatment and mice. He was thorough and very professional. Answered all questions. He patched up any possible entrances for mice to reach our home, something that was not done by a prior service we had contracted. Overall very pleased and would use them again, although I hope never to have to call them again.
