I had a weird situation between selling my house and buying my new house. I rented a truck and I was going to have some friends help me load it up. Friends fell through. Called Jaco movers in the morning and they sent 3 guys right over. They packed that truck better than I ever could have. I would have needed 2 or 3 trucks but they fit everything including the swing set. They were very courteous and did whatever we asked them to do. Ended up using them to unload the truck as well. Could not be happier

Movers Ryan, Jimmy and Mike were friendly, enthusiastic, careful, efficient, organized, professional, and worked as fast as they could. They made the extra effort to fit everything into one truck which saved me $200.

I used Jaco Movers this past Friday to move my mom from her home in North Brunswick to an over 55 community in Somerset. I can't say enough good things about the moving experience, all thanks to the professionalism and diligence of the four men who moved us. They showed up on time, were courteous and kind, were willing to do anything we asked and were very patient and accommodating to all our requests. Nothing was damaged, not even a scratch... They carefully wrapped everything in blankets and in some cases taped corrugated over the blankets for extra support and padding - I have moved many times in my life and these guys were the best I've ever worked with. And to really make my day even better, they came in UNDER their estimated amount/cost of the move - when does that EVER happen??? Love JACO moving and would highly recommend! Moving can be one the most stressful events in anyone's life and I can honestly say that this was not stressful at all ?. Thank you Hortencia for having a great team of movers with such positive attitudes and great work ethic.

Jaco Movers are the best! I received a quote that day and coordinated the date & time with Theresa over the phone. Robert, Atilio and Hugo arrived on time and were awesome! They carefully disassembled my bedroom furniture and entertainment center. They wrapped all of the furniture in plastic and then reassembled them perfectly in my new home. They were very attentive as they maneuvered my furniture going upstairs and between doorways. Once all the furniture was back in place I did my walk through and I was happy with the move. Wonderful guys. I appreciate the care they took was thrilled at how well the job turned out. I will gladly recommend them to my friends and would absolutely hire again!

The only issue I had was that there were some pieces missing and I couldn't find it and the kitchen table was scratched up. I ended up paying an extra $600. It was close to $1,000 all together because they needed more people to do the move. I think I paid him $650 on top. They were quick and they knew what they were doing, but the problem was the furniture got damaged and then I lost some things. They were responsive. I would tell whoever uses them to be careful when they unpack the furniture and make sure they tell you where they have put all the furniture and the screws. It was a big puzzle. I don't know where they put it. They weren't organized in where they put pieces of our furniture. I had to go and buy screws at the store but the table is still missing its leg.

Jaco Movers were great! I got a quote from Nelson right away and it was wonderful to coordinate a date and time with Theresa over the phone. Robert and Atilio arrived on time and were awesome! It was pouring when they arrived and they were extra careful to keep the house clean as they worked. They provided their own tools and carefully took apart the treadmill and moved it to the basement and reassembled. They were very attentive as they maneuvered the treadmill between doorways and stairwells. Once the treadmill was back in place they made sure it worked perfectly and that I was happy with the move. Wonderful guys. I appreciate the care they took while in our home. Would absolutely hire again!

They went right to work. It wasn't easy - take heavy bedroom furniture down a flight of stairs, then up 7 steps and around tight corners. All furniture was covered in protective blankets and there was no damage to furniture, walls, steps or doors. Have since referred a friend to them who had an equally good experience. Would definitely hire them again.

The movers were fabulous. When I arranged the move, the owner was courteous and professional and answered all of my questions. He assured me that the dining set would be moved carefully, and when I told him that I would be getting other quotes, he asked if he could phone me in the afternoon to see if I had made my decision. After speaking to several other movers who felt my job was too small to be bothered, I called back and booked the job. I could not have been more pleased. They showed up on time, wrapped each piece of furniture carefully and were meticulous in their care of the dining room set. When they arrived at my house, they unwrapped each piece carefully and set it up in my dining room. I was thrilled at how well the job turned out, and I will gladly recommend them to my friends. Small businesses like this deserve to be noticed. Thanks again.

At first everything went well it was a last minute move and Jaco was able to accommodate and gave us a time that they would be coming. After an hour of waiting the movers finally called and said that they would be about another hour late( which is understandable). We had called THERESA to ask if there was a way to either get a new time for the scheduled move, that way we could go back home and do other things and just meet the movers at the guaranteed time or maybe even give us some type of discount for the inconvenience. She BELITTLED us over the phone and spoke to us rudely! I have never spoken to anyone as unprofessional as her. She had told us that it was not her problem and that my mother scheduled the move and not us (meaning my sister and I). Every sentence that she said she kept using the word "Hun". (I am not a 13 yr old teenager) We asked to speak to the manager and she told us that she was the manager. So we asked to speak to Nelson and was told that he was not available and that he'll call us when or if he can. Maybe if we spoke to Nelson from the beginning none of this would have ever happened... We ended up canceling the move dude to her rudeness.

Jaco movers did a fantastic job. Nelson answered all of our questions in a timely manner and scheduled the job immediately. Ryan and Julio were on time, friendly, and very professional. They were very careful moving all of the items and placed everything exactly where we wanted them. I would definitely hire Jaco Movers again and recommend them.

Nelson and his team were polite, professional and CAREFUL with our belongings. They moved us today and it was stress-free. Let's face it - moving is not fun. We didn't worry with Jaco though. My wife and I won't stop talking about how well the guys worked together. Also, they did not drop anything, there are absolutely zero marks and dings on our walls, and they didn't even stop for a break! Also, I noticed that they did not smoke at our property which is very considerate. It also cut down on the breaks they took. I actually felt bad - they could have rested a bit more than they did. We have moved 9 times and we KNOW what good movers do. I will always recommend Jaco Movers to my friends and family. Should the need arise for another move (I hope it doesn't!) - we will use Jaco again.

Nelson offered the most competitive price when he first came. The final price was right on. The guys did a great job. They worked hard and were careful and courteous. Money well spent.

I compaired Jaco Movers with other local and national moving companies. Jaco Movers was the most competetively priced of all the companies I interviewed. The national moving companies gave estimates two to three times higher in price to Jaco. The owner (Nelson) met with me and reviewed all the items to be moved. When he and his team arrived at my home they proceeded to cushion and wrap all my items thoroughly. My wife and I were amazed at how fast they worked. They were all extremely professional, courteous, and friendly. It was raining when the move started and they did everything they could to protect my home and property. The move was completed in a timely manner and not one item was damaged in the move! There were no additional charges added at the completion of the move that were not discussed in the origional estimate. I would recommend Jaco Movers to all my Friends and Family for any local moving needs. As a matter of fact, I have other items that will need to be moved in the near future and as a result of this experiance I will be using Jaco for that move as well!

Jaco Movers did an outstanding job with our move. From the initial visit and quote we felt very comfortable with them and appreciated the pride of ownership shown in their work. Their quote was very competitive, not the lowest we received, but we were very comfortable making this selection. One other mover actually quoted the same job at over $7000! We schedule a day to pack and a day to move. My wife an I did pack some things in advance, but it was at best 5% of the job, and probably less than that. Jaco provided 3 people for this job (they were short one team member) and they were packing machines! While we're still unloading boxes, we have yet to find anything damaged in the move from poor packing. The crew ended up delivering one large truck and two small truck loads to our new home. Everything was unloaded carefully and the crew worked tirelessly to get everything done and then confirmed it was all placed properly to our satisfaction. Even the possible issues were handed professionally and courteously. There was minor damage done to one wall in a tight hallway and turn that was immediately brought to my attention and options for repair presented. We ended up letting this go as we were going to repaint eventually anyway. There was damage to a leg on a chest of drawers that needed to be repaired, and they sent a check as soon as I sent them the repair bill. How people handle and resolve problems tells you a great deal, and Jaco handled these minor issues very well. Highly recommended!

I was amazed by how friendly, professional, efficient, and carefully Jaco handled my move. The movers handled each piece of furniture with extreme care and didn't leave so much as a scratch on my newly painted walls. We had a deal from Angie's list for 3 hours of moving, but it only took them 2. They asked what else they could help me with and were in no rush to leave. The movers made sure that each piece of furniture was exactly where I wanted it before moving on to the next piece. I was thrilled with their work, and I will definitely be calling if I move again, and recommending Jaco to anyone who needs movers.

Excellent customer service. Excellent attitude. Cost exceeded deal price but it was out of the movers control and well worth it. Jaco tried their best to ensure the job came in at the deal price of $900 but I added an additional stop at a storage facility which added extra time for traffic etc etc. Would highly recommend

Jaco movers were prompt , courteous, and professional. They took great care with all of our items and were careful to completely wrap all furniture. They protected our belongings as well as our newly renovated house. There was not a single mark on our new floors. Their employees were clean and polite ( unlike some other movers ). I highly recommend Jaco movers to anyone who cares about the quality of service. They are now my go to movers.

We found Jaco Movers on Angie's List and contacted them about 8 weeks before our planned move date. They visited our home, inventoried every room, provided us with a written min/max estimate, and provided information and literature on their service, method, and licensing. We contacted them with a definite move date 2 weeks in advance. They arrived at the agreed time and immediately started packing and wrapping all the furniture, We were impressed by the amount of detail they applied to insure everything was padded safely. The unloading at our new house was equally impressive. They put up with a lot of "move it here, try it there, move it down the basement and we will decide later" from us. Jaco Movers are a PROFESSIONAL business who do a fantastic job and go out of their way to please the customer. I don't believe you will find a better mover anywhere.

They arrived on schedule and had the whole project done within a couple of hours. Hardworks, very friendly & professional. I would highly recommend them.
