The two of them were totally professional. They worked the load well and the discharge at two locations was done well. I have used much more expensive local movers and these guys were better. Everything was wrapped and protected. I highly recommend Jaco Movers for local (in state) moves.

They did a great job. We had a lot of stuff to move and they were very organized and careful moving our belongings.

They did a very good job. Very professional. They wrapped everything properly. They did a good job service wise. However, the additional cost added on to the service was suprising at the end.

In a word, EXCELLENT. I am not sure how I could have asked for a better experience from any perspective. Nelson (the owner) and his his crew were prompt, very friendly and courteous. They carefully wrapped all the furniture in shrink warp and carried everything out with surgical precision. They had the forethought to put things in the garage in an order that enabled us to get around and also gain access to anything that we needed. They returned within a day of my request to have everything brought back in and with the same level of precision brought everything back in and were very patient in exact placement of the items, down to the inch. They were very efficient in getting both ends of the job done. It took about 4.5 hours to get everything out and 3 hours to bring it back in. Considering the amount of large items (4 sofas, 3 chairs, appliance, baby grand piano, etc...) about 2800 sq ft. of furniture and large items, this was impressive. No walls were banged up, no furniture dinged. The job was executed to perfection. Based on my experience I would never consider using anyone else. I would highly recommend them.

They advised on moving techniques, the best way to preserve the breakables and was really impressed with their thoughtful packaging learnt how to take great care of my breakables from them. The workers make a great team and left a good impression, they wanted to know where to put everything, like where I wanted them, kitchen bathroom or bedfroom. ETC I would recommend and use them again over all 99.9%. Nelson is a good leader.

I was very cautious to look around for a moving company as I had a very bad experience with the last moving company I hired. Jaco Movers was exceptional. Nelson came over and gave me an estimate. on the day of the move, they arrived on time and started the move promptly. Nelson came over with 2 other guys and all of them were extremely professional. They wrapped all my furniture before loading and made sure that none of the items were damaged by any chance. It was snowing in the first couple of hours but this did not slow them down; nor were they complaining. The level of professionalism showed by Jaco Movers is truly amazing. They honored the discount from Angieslist and stuck to the price that was quoted initially. I'd highly recommend Jaco Movers to anyone in the tristate area. great experience !! after they moved my small items which they wrapped to my new condo they also carefully wrapped and moved a baby grand piano to my sons in south jersey , I paid a reasonable fee for that service as well, They were quick careful and extremely professional.

Nelson and his crew were great. They worked for hours, no real breaks, to get the job done. Nothing was broken or damaged, would use again.

We have done a lot of moving in recent years, and by far, these guys have been the best. I have recommended them to friends already. They were very flexible with the moving date, arrived on time, and moved a lot of items within three hours. They went over the time we had initially planned, but they were very fair and up front about it. Overall, they were efficient, careful with our things, and very professional. I am hoping not to have to use them for moving anytime soon, yet, they have a cleaning service, which I would not hesitate to call. Again, excellent work. I have not been pleased with some movers in the past. These guys were outstanding.

When movers came in, they were friendly, professional, and did an overall great job. They moved everything and unloaded it all within 3 hours. They protected all the wood furniture with wrapping and made sure there was no damage from the move

Jaco movers were worth every penny! Nelson and his team worked quickly and effectively to clean out my basement which was filled with baby furniture and equipment that wasn't used. They cleaned it out and organized the remaining things in boxes along the perimeter of the room. My basement in now clean, organized and open... where before I had no room to even walk! They took the items to the church to donate to families in need and threw away the remaining trash for me. I would highly recommend Nelson and his team. I will definitely be hiring them in the future for any moves or organization projects.

This is a professional and reliable company.

They were very good. When he came and presented me with the final bill, he said there was an additional $20 because it was outside the mileage but I disputed that, I talked to him about it and said I didn't see anything on that, I must have missed the fine print and that's Angie's List fault, not his so I had already made the check out so he took the check and he had a helper with him so I gave $20 to the helper, like a tip. Then I went back and looked at the deal and I still didn't see it but it was probably there in the fine print, like within a 90 square mileage or something and he said I was 5 or 10 mileage outside of it of the round trip distance because I was in Northern Essex County and he came from Somerset but I thought it was just based on time, at least that's the way it appeared in the coupon. He was very, very good. He was superb, he really was. I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them.

From initial contact via Angie's list and on then on the phone through the move -- they were reliable and courteous and efficient. I would recommend them to others.

They arrived late because of traffic, but called to let me know. They went right to work. Covered all furniture and TV in quilted blankets to protect them. Carried furniture down a flight of stairs to the truck in Hawthorne. In Oakland, carried furniture down the front lawn, up 7 steps and around a lot of corners to get it to the back bedroom. This is very heavy furniture but they just got it where it was supposed to go with no problem. Contract was for $199., but they charge for mileage over the first FREE 30 miles. I had checked Mapquest for mileage and it gave me 39 - 49 from their office to Hawthorne, and 10 miles from Hawthorne to Oakland. They don't charge for the trip from final destination to their office. So I expected 49 - 59 miles. They told me it was 42 miles and after subtracting the free 30 miles I would pay for 12 miles. They charge $25 for up to 15 miles, so total came to $214 with original contract at $199. I think they did a great job in a short period of time at a fair price and I would use them again. I have used moving companies who slapped all kinds of extraneous fees on and your final bill ends up nothing like the estimate. This was very straight forward. If you use them make sure you work out the extra mileage costs before you schedule them so there are no surprises.
