all went well. Very pleased

it was where the roof sloped and there was another smaller piece of roof that covers a dormer involved. He applied caulk anywhere it could leak and placed the flashing over the two level roof. He did a very thorough job and it looks beautiful.

It's only been a few weeks since the roof was installed. Everything went great. On-time, professional, cleaned up, etc. Ed and Marcos stayed till 6:30 p.m. when the framing repairs gave them some headaches. The new gutters and downspouts were installed another day, and that job also went nicely. They look good. So far, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. One more part of the job still has to be done - the gutter guards have to be installed. We're waiting for materials to arrive. Will update review after that, but definitely deserves an "A."

Ed called me back and came out for an estimate same day. He's a mild mannered gentleman, definitely a professional. He sent me a written estimate within 16 hours. He also came out the very next day to do the repair. It was smooth from start to finish. No trying to sell me on a new roof. He re-used the previous shingles because they were still flexible and had life left in them. I will use Sierra Construction Group Inc. in the future for all my siding and roofing needs.

Working with Sierra Construction was pleasant, professional and easy. Ed Rourke, the owner, showed up on time, when it was convenient for us. He was knowledgeable and experienced as well as patient and courteous, fully answering all of our questions and taking the time necessary to access the roof and fully assess the situation. He asked questions about our intentions with the property (and listened to the answers) before evaluating the situation. His estimate included precisely what needed to be done without overstating the job. The work was performed within days of our approving the estimate even though it is a very busy time of year for roofers. Additionally, the cost was extremely reasonable. Ed was easily accessible, approached everything with a "can do" attitude and provided input on other issues involving the house. I would have no hesitation whatsoever using Sierra Construction in the future and/or recommending Sierra Construction to others.

Ed couldn't be more attentive to my needs . He fit me into his busy schedule and his company did a great job . They completed the job in a day and provided a great service .

Contractor was great. Responsive from the start in communications and scheduling an appointment for review and estimate. Quote and estimated time to complete were excellent. Contractor did exactly what they said, when they said. Contractor was detail oriented and did quality, professional work and did a good job clearing and cleaning the job site upon completion. Would highly recommend this company and not think twice to reach out with additional business.

I'm very thankful for this gentleman. The first time he came out was Saturday morning in the snow. He was supposed to attend a family activity, instead he came by my home because he understood the urgency. It was dangerous for him to do this job under the circumstances of the weather. He did a temporary but stable fix and agreed to come back to finish. He just finished the job today, and I couldn't be more pleased. He stuck to the price that we agreed to. Ed from Sierra Construction showed up by 8am as I was told they would. He had his crew and my new roof was installed in 2 days.

The new roof looks great and more importantly no more leaks! Ed's team was awesome. Very professional and a precision hard-working operation, The crew arrived on time, worked 4 long days and left the backyard cleaner than it was when they first arrived. They protected the landscaping from flying debris and ensured that the house was covered tightly each night to protect it from any potential overnight pop-up thunderstorms. The quote/contract matched my expectations. Pricing was just slightly lower than the bids received from 4 other contractors. There was no unforeseen/unbudgeted work or surprise "extra" expenses. I am recommending Sierra to all of my friends!

Excellent!! Ed, the owner, showed up with his crew (six men) on time to ensure everything started as expected. Material and dumpster arrived a little later. These guys went right to work, first they protected our house, plants, and yard by covering everything with tarps. Then they started removing the existing shingles. They ONLY removed enough of the roof so they could completely finish one section by end of day, so we did not have to worry about and open roof for the night. At the end of the day, the entire crew went over the whole yard with magnets and rakes to ensure every piece of debris was picked up. This company was extremely professional, upfront on all aspects of the job, and courteous to both my wife and myself. We would highly recommend this company for any roof related work.

We obtained three quotes when we were looking to replace our siding. Our house is 25 yrs old and had existing aluminum siding that needed to be replaced. When I met with Ed, he was professional, knowledgable and made me feel comfortable. He made suggestions I hadn't considered (since I'm not a siding expert) and the other contractors didn't even mention. After reviewing and comparing quotes, it was an easy choice. After our initial meeting, we kept in contact via email. He was always prompt in responding to questions and keeping me up to date on when the work would begin at the house, etc. Our house was completed in three days! We have half circle and quarter round circle windows above several of our windows. I noticed the quarter round windows' edging wasn't lining up with the window below it. I took a picture and sent it to Ed. He responded the same day, agreed with my assessment, and had one of his guys come out to re-do the work. The result was perfect. I should also mention that I made a last minute request to have gutters installed on our shed. Again Ed responded the same day and they were able to do the work the same day they completed the gutters on our house. Last but not least.... When Ed initially came out to the house to get info to quote, I mentioned that we had an existing leak in our garage that we believed was due to the windows over the garage. After our siding was complete we had a heavy rain and unfortunately our leak was worse. I emailed Ed the next morning (probably within the hour) and he responded the same morning. He and one of his guys were able to go over to our house and analyze the problem. Ed emailed me back and promised his guy would be back to fix the problem on Friday. Friday he was here fixing the roof. I am very hopeful the next rain will prove the repair was a success. Just a reminder this started as an existing problem before Sierra ever touched our siding! I would absolutely call Sierra Construction for any future work I need - I can't recommend Ed and his team enough!

The guy came out, very clear and firm on how you find things. They were very pleasant to deal with. I appreciated that he was available by email. He sent the estimate in rightly enough, and referred and used it by email. His estimate change a lot of times. They were very good. I have used them for many years.

The entire process was smooth and seamless, from start to finish. Ed (the owner) promptly returned my call to request an estimate. He came to my house when he said he would, and gave me a fair estimate. His estimate included things I was looking for (ex. drip edge around entire perimeter and not just the eaves) that other estimates did not. His materials seemed to be excellent quality, not the cheap stuff. The workers were conscientious and worked well as a team. They took great care to not harm my bushes and cleaned up well after the job. The job took 2 days because of the extra soffit and fascia work. There was a large storm several weeks after completion, and we got a minor leak. Ed promptly sent his foreman, Marco, out to take a look. He found the issue, which had to do with siding and caulking, not the roof itself. Marco went above and beyond to make sure there would be no future issues. It has been 11 months now and many hard storms later and no problems! The roof looks great and we get many complements. I feel very confident that Sierra backs up its work, and would use Sierra again in a heartbeat.

I cannot say enough positive things about Ed and his company. He was extremely responsive to all of my questions. The job was completed WAY sooner than expected and our new roof looks beautiful. His price was comparable to other companies (we obtained 5 estimates) but his customer service was above and beyond any other, which sealed the deal. The day of the job, Ed said they would be here at 8 am. They showed up 20 minutes early and were READY TO GO at 8 am sharp. His crew was professional and did an excellent job of combing our yard for any left over debris. Sierra Construction really made this whole process easy and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone (in fact, we already have). If we need anything in the future, they will be the first ones we call!

I'm so happy I hired Ed to fix myroof. He was a genuine guy who I honestly believed was looking out for my best interest and not trying to rip me off. As a stay at home mom with a husband who works a lot I'm the one who has to book service men coming out to house. I always feel like they are going to rip me off because I have no idea what they're talking about half the time haha. Ed originally quoted me $600 to find and patch a leak....because it was under the deck it wasn't an easy task. When he was done he told me he was confident that he found the source of the leak and that it didn't take him as long as he thought it would so he dropped the price down to $350....I mean who does that?!? I can't say enough good things and so far no leaks and we've had some pretty bad down pours since. I highly recommend hiring Ed.

I wasn't sure whether they were going to ever come back to rectify the situation and they never did. Basically they said that they would fix the roof. I asked whether the roof to be replaced or it could be repaired, I thought it would be repaired and it would be good for 5-6 years at least. He did the job, I had a brand new floor put in to the back sunroom and it leaked more after he got done, so I called back and told him there was a leak. He came back out, looked at it and fixed it again. Next time the same thing happened so I called him and he said he came back out again. He said it was definitely fixed this time, no doubt about it. I said okay. But it still leaked so I told him this had to be repaired and that I was relying on him for doing that. I told him I paid for him to repair it, which obviously wasn't the right thing. I asked him if it needed to be replaced and he told me no, definitely not. So now I have a problem where the roof leaks and I said he was supposed to repair it and you did not. He said well, I don't know what you want me to do. I said well, I'd like you to fix the roof and if you need to redo the roof, that's fine, but I think you should make some concessions because I've been through a lot, I've had floors damaged. I said may be you want to put this though your insurance company so you won't be charged anything, but I've had my floor damaged as a result of your promise and you didn't do what you said you'd do. He didn't even make a concession. He said ,okay, I will you what. I already charged you "xyz" amount of dollars, I’ll take that off and only charge you this much to replace it. Nothing. He said, you know what, I'm sorry, I guess you'll have to talk to my attorney. I sold the house since then, but wanted to have it repaired so that my floor wouldn't be damaged and the floor was damaged, which basically impaired the value of the house.

Professional, clean, detail oriented. Ed's took the additional time to return to the job and review "finishing" details that I was concerned about had his crew make some modifications. He also returned to walk the roof to make sure that it met his standards of quality per my request. It says a lot that the owner is willing to come out and personally inspect the work to ease the mind of a nervous homeowner. Superior customer service.

They did an excellent job. I would recommend them to anyone. Any time we had a problem, just call, they come right out and see your problem whatever. It is nice dealing with them. If you need a good roof, go to them.

Ed inspected our roof for a leak we suspected was around our chimney. He stripped the siding off our chimney down to the bare plywood and discovered our roofer didn't even have flashing around all of the chimney and allowed a one inch hole in the corners for water to penetrate freely. He said he was surprised our walls inside the house wasn't completely destroyed. He and a coworker, flashed our chimney, wrapped the chimney, and sanded, primed and painted our chimney cap. He took photos of the shoddy work our roofer did and work our roofer should have done. It took them all day in the hot sun stripping, flashing and waterproofing our chimney. Ed said it should be hurricane proof now. They cleaned up every bit of their materials and left the place spotless. That has not happened with any other contractor I hired in the past. Ed was very professional and personable. It didn't hurt that he was very easy on the eyes. He has beautiful green eyes. Great guy. The best contractor I ever hired. Thank you very much Ed.

Ed's crew was professional and got the job completed within about a week of the initial estimate, which exceeding my expectations. They use materials that are above average quality such as synthetic underlayment. Also, it seems CertainTeed shingles are rated nicely when I did my research on the web. Consumer reports rated them positively as well. Sierra construction pricing was fair. It was not the cheapest estimate nor the most expensive, but when I considered the better quality shingle, synthetic underlayment, and excellent angie's list review I choose to hire them for the job. I am glad I did and would recommend them. I would also add Ed is very responsive when you contact him. A few minor issues came up since I had the roof install November 2013....and Ed sent out his foremen within days to fix the issue. Excellent overall rating.

Extremely pleased with my roof. they were efficient and prompt. I have had comments on how great my roof looks and inquired who did the replacement.

He explained the job and answered my questions well. He sent an estimate promptly but I am waiting for warmer weather.
