Sierra Construction did an outstanding job replacing our roof (as I knew they would)! Having hired them for repairs over the last year, I knew we would call on Ed & Co. to replace the roof when it was time. They are always so incredibly responsive, hard-working, priced fairly and always pleasant. The day the roof was replaced, they came early, did a great job (in one day) and provided an impeccable clean-up afterward. Couldn't ask for a better customer experience - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I was afraid I was going to need an entire new roof, but after looking it over, Ed felt most of the roof was in decent shape for its age, and that we could get away with just a repair at this time. Since I'm hoping to install solar in the next couple years, and plan to replace the roof then, we opted for the repair. After a minor communication issue (my email reply had gone into his spam folder), we scheduled the work. The workman arrived as promised and worked all day on the repair. Ed came by to check on progress (he had been tied up on another job), but things were fine. We've had several heavy thunderstorms since the repair, with no leaking. Would hire again - he offered the repair even knowing it would cost him a full roof job, since he can't do the solar installation. If you contact him via email and don't hear back, call - just in case his email provider decided your email was spam!

I can't say enough good things about Sierra Construction Group Inc. - AND I appreciate their honesty (they told me I didn't need to replace our roof right away)! They are top notch & I will be calling Ed and his team back to replace our roof when the time comes without question.

Ed responded the Thursday night that I emailed, and said that he would try to stop by the next day. He came the next day and spent about an hour inspecting possible problems then coming up with a creative solution to the problem. His foreman Marcos came Monday morning and removed the old small flashing that I had installed years ago and created a new custom flashing that was fitted neatly into seven different three foot sections that make up the sunrooms roof. This was all securely caulked and it looks great. We've had a decent windy rain storm, a snow that lasted four days on the roof, and then, another sizable very windy rain storm and everything is completely dry. Ed and Marcos did a great job. They were both very friendly, they knew their stuff. I would highly recommend them to anyone. One more thing: they fixed a vent pipe boot on the front of the house that was unrelated to the leak, probably preventing future problems.

I have a pretty good-sized leak on an interior wall from a roof issue. Very concerned, I called to get an estimate. I was told that my job was way too small and that she (the lady who returned my voicemail) couldn't see any time in the foreseeable future that they would be able to come out. She offered to call the boss after I explained further about my leak. She called back a bit later (hence the "A" for responsiveness), to say that the boss said nope, the job was way too small and they would not even consider it. Very disappointing!

The whole process of scheduling a quote, discussing, punctuality, etc was extremely refreshing compared to other contractors.

Ed and his team are awesome!! Ed is extremely responsive and really worked with all of my requests. His team did a beautiful job and left my property very clean. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I contacted Sierra Construction Group a few years ago when I wanted to have my roof assessed. At the time Ed did not recommend doing so as the roof was still in very good condition. Because of his honesty (and great reviews here on Angie's list) I knew that once it was time to actually replace it I would be calling up Ed again. 5 years later I did and couldn't be happier with the work. A team of 8 people showed up at 7:30 in the morning and worked till 8:45pm to get as much of the work done as possible. The quality of the work (roof and skylights) is great and I honestly can't believe how great of a clean up job they did considering all the debris that the tear down created. Ed and his team were professional and very easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend them and hire them again.

The first estimate I had, the provider was only going to put in 4 in gutters and not even touch the porch roof. Sierra not only fixed the roof, but he did 6 in gutters and did a beautiful job all the way around the roof for almost two and a half times less the cost.

It went extremely well! I've consulted with Sierra Construction Group several times over the past four years. They are honest, helpful, and do high quality work. Ed came out, assessed the situation, and gave us a few ideas and options. He wasn't pushy or aggressive. He listened to our ideas and desires then submitted a detailed estimate within 2 or 3 days. I couldn't be happier with the end result and look forward to hiring Sierra again to do my siding in the future.

Ed and his team did an outstanding job from start to finish. Ed responded quickly to my request and was punctual, professional and courteous. His proposal was clearly laid out, very detailed and the pricing was reasonable. There was never any pressure or sales tricks. Before replacing the roof, I had to remove my old solar panels, and that really threw off the schedule for the roof. However, I was able to maintain excellent communication with Ed via email throughout the entire process. The roof was completed in one day, and my gutters, which had to be specially ordered because of their unusual color, were done a couple of days later. The crew arrived on time, they did high quality work and were absolutely fantastic with cleaning up everything, I could not find a single nail or any piece of debris on my property afterwards. It was a real pleasure to work with this company, they were perfect in every aspect of the job and I highly recommend them.

Ed and his team did a great job. I had many questions from beginning to end and Ed answered every one. I have an email string 38 messages long! The foreman Marcos is awesome. Super responsive and the last guy on the job each day making sure everything was done correctly and clean. There were changes that came up during the process that were the houses issue not an estimating mistake and pricing for those was beyond fair. Yes I would recommend them to my mother.

Sierra Construction was amazing. We got a few estimates, and they came in about the same as other companies, and in one case much lower. I also loved how much the owner, Ed, was able to answer all of my questions and knew all about every type of siding and product. Ed is also very responsive to calls and email. I never had to worry if I was going to be able to reach him. Once the job was scheduled, they arrived on time, every day, and the entire house was finished within a week. They even came on a Saturday. The crew was professional, and extremely precise with all of their measurements and work. We even had neighbors comment on how careful the crew was. We are beyond happy with the final result. It turned out beautifully and we are so pleased!

They were absolutely wonderful. They were straight to the point. They gave me the price up front, and wrote it down. The price that I paid them was significantly (Thousands of dollars) less than what another company wanted to charge me.

We asked Ed to give us an estimate on vinyl siding because our home inspector said that it was only two years away from needing replacement. Ed took a lot of measurements (which was time consuming for him) and told us that our cedar shiplap siding was actually in good shape. He said it just need ed a few repairs. He said that he would love to install the vinyl siding and make $18,000, but said that we really don't need it. We were very grateful for his honestly and willingness to do a much smaller job at a reasonable price. He and his crew were very professional and they finished all the repairs in just one day. Ed and his company are the only siding/roofing company we will ever use!

The entire project went great! Ed and the crew worked hard and were very professional. They came early and stayed late. Everyone worked hard and had long days. They cleaned up every day, and when the roof was finished, my yard was cleaner than when they started. Ed kept us informed throughtout the entire project. Ed also installed new gutters and sided a dormer which looks great!

The owner of Sierra Construction Ed Came through when other contractors gave the usual run around. Very quick turn around after he checked the skylights and scheduled the repair immediately. Skylights were installed properly and left the job site very clean. Price was better then 3 other contractors. Very pleased with the total experience. I would recommend sierra construction and use them again.

They removed old roof and put new roof on. He explained what they were going to do when he can out for the estimate. My roof would leak in the garage when it used to rain real hard and he explained the probable cause. He is certified as a Master roofer by Certainteed (the shingle manufacturer he uses ) so they give some extra warranty. He did a good job, took him a day and a half and there were no problems. Roof doesn't leak anymore. Cleaned up around the yard so there wasn't roofing debris around. Overall a good job.

It was a pleasure working with Ed Rourke and his team leader Marcos. They are very professional contractors who went the extra mile to ensure that I understood all options prior to the start of the job. Ed was very responsive from first contact until completion of the work. Due to some inclement weather and the size of the roof the work took two days with a bit of touch up on the third day. They also had to replace a number of plywood sheathing sections due to weather damage. Marcos and his team were fully engaged from start to finish each day. I was impressed with their work ethic and attention to detail as the new roof took shape. The clean up upon completion was also very good. The roof looks great and I would not hesitate to use Sierra in the future or recommend them to friends and family.
