We suffered major storm damage in July '09 and had been living with a tarp on our roof since then. We had Brian come out in August '09 to give us an estimate, but we had been haggling with the insurance company for months before we finally got our claim settled. We called Brian again to come out and give us a new estimate (to include some additional work). He came out the day after we called, and scheduled the installation less than a week later. The crew showed up promptly at 7:30 am, and had everything completed and cleaned up by about 5 pm. Brian double-checked all of the work when it was completed, and was very professional throughout the whole process. We even had them install some new shutters for us. So far, we are very pleased with the work that was completed, and our overall experience with Brian Genovese. We will definitely keep him in mind when we are ready to do our siding!

He came one day for a free estimate, returned the next week for the service. Answered all questions and did the work quickly.

Brian gave me a date he would do the roof, told me it would only take an afternoon. He arrived on the day he said he would, completed the job as promised and left my yard in immaculate condition. I would recommend Brian Genovese to anyone I know.

Upon calling Genovese Roofing my call was transferred immediately to Brian who set up a time to come have a look that evening. When he was going to be running a bit late he called to let me know. He had a look in my attic and at the roof and gave me an estimate. I asked how quickly he could get to the job and he said most jobs were done within 7 days. Rain was predicted for later that week and he said he'd try to get it done that Friday before the rain moved in (this was on Tuesday). On Wednesday night he called to tell me he could get to my job on Thursday morning. He phoned before he came out on Thursday and he and his crew arrived on time and completed the job in a couple of hours. He and his workers were very professional and did a good job of cleaning up afterward. Best of all, the extremely heavy rain that weekend proved the leak had been repaired successfully. I don't know how the work compared to other companies price-wise as I wanted the job done ASAP and didn't shop around, but I am very pleased with Brian's responsiveness and professionalism.

Brian returned our call quickly, provided a free estimate, kept in touch regarding when he would be out and lived up to the timeline promised. A rare professional whose communication and professionalism is as good as his excellent work. We are very happy with the work and we paid exactly the amount of the estimate, no more. Highly recommended.

Punctual and professional.Clean up was pretty good but a few scattered pieces of old shingles were left behind. Pretty minor stuff when compared to overall size of job. Well satisfied with Brian and crew. UPDATED 7/20/14**** 1year after completion of the work, a minor leak appeared on a bedroom ceiling. The office manager advised that they would come to check it out. After several cancellations, a worker did show up and inspected the roof, determining that a few nails had popped up and he corrected the issue. About 18 months later, another leak occurred in an area adjacent to the first leak.again, the office advised Brian Genovese would come out to inspect and that they have a lifetime warranty. An appointment was set, postponed by them, postponed again and then a worker showed up. Same explanation, and now the ceiling stain has continued to grow. After several discussions with their office, all I have heard is "Brian will call you back". Well, it's now been 4,weeks, I have made multiple calls and no return calls. I gave Genovese the job in an extremely difficult economy to support a small, family owned business. I guess that now since the economy has improved, they don't value a former customer. I have advised them that I was prepared to update my review if I did not hear back within 2 days.well, no response. Now I have to hire another roofer to fix their poor workmanship. IF YOU VALUE SERVICE and commitment from your contractor, DO NOT HIRE GENOVESE Roofing!!

We had a leaking roof that need repaired. They came out that day, worked around our schedule, and quickly performed the needed repairs. We had no problems whatsoever.

This is easily the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. He came to estimate when requested. He gave us a price within a day and then he rearranged his schedule to get the window installed to meet our deadline. Brian showed up when he said., finished the job completely within 2 days and was extremely pleasant and accommodating. I almost want to have more windows installed just to use him again! (and we will be in the spring)

We would have used him, but we subsequently got a better price for the work. Also, in fairness, we did not give him the opportunity to counter-bid; we just decided to use the other contractor.

After moving to our town home, we had a handy-man fix our gutters and he noticed some roofing issues. We contacted Genovese Roofing, based on their great reviews on Angie's List. Brian Genovese promptly returned our phone calls and came out to do an estimate. At the estimate appointment, Brian was very informative and answered all of our questions. His estimate was very fair and included permit costs (not all other companies did this) so there were no "hidden" costs. The day of the job Brian and his team were there early getting things ready. Brian came to the door at the scheduled time and work began right away. Brian was on-site working with his team and supervising. The guys put up tarps to slide the old shingles down rather than just throwing them so that they would not damage our plants and fountain. At the end of the job, Brian explained everything that was done and the guarantee and the price was exactly as estimated. All debris was cleaned up and the new roof looks great!

It was a fantastic experience. Phone calls were returned, appointments kept as promised, pricing fair, scheduling as requested, they showed up when they said they would and the job was done as promised. No mess left behind. Can't think of any area where they could have done better. Very happy with the whole experience.
