Description of Work: Valairco replaced my furnace. Their workman arrived promptly and did an excellent job, even showing me how to work the new thermostat. Their price, also a little higher than I expected was less than the other quotes I got from other companies, including PSEG.

Description of Work: Furnace was not working properly- was getting an error message (31)that indicated there was a problem with the pressure switch. First time they came, the furnace was firing up and technician could not duplicate the problem. They said they would come back again if the problem resurfaced at no extra charge. Called them within 5 days of their first visit. They found water in the vent pipe- blew out the water and the problem has not returned. They deducted their first visit charge from the repair cost which we appreciated very much!

This was much appreciated since we were having a house full of company for the weekend and we needed to make sure the air would be working. Everything went very smoothly.

Description of Work: I'm not sure of the cost, sorry. We don't have the paperwork anymore as we sold the house. We were temporarily living in our rental townhouse and woke up to no heat. Valairco came the same day. Other places wouldn't. They told us we needed a new furnace (tenants had never changed the air filter). They made temporary repairs so we wouldn't freeze and came back the following week to replace the furnace. We did comparison shopping and they were among the least expensive and promised (and delivered) personalized service. They included a maintenance contract wherein they would come out once a year. When the year approached, they contacted us to set up an appointment. Their price also included a programmable thermostat. Would definitely recommend them.
