They've done multiple things for me. Then they're going to be in the process of doing some additional work in August or September that they already gave me an estimate for. I like their punctuality. They're very thorough. The office manager is very personable. They're just good, overall.

The estimate for work took only 2 days & when we agreed to it the bathroom fan light was ordered. It took a week to get the fan light & set up appt. to have work done. The whole experience went well & everything I wanted done was taken care of. They were also very neat & cleaned up!
Description of Work: The work that was done: Installed a bathroom heater vent & light unit. Used extra chain on dining room light to move & center it. Replaced fan from one bathroom to another. Replaced 2 electrical outlets.

Description of Work: The office staff - Sharon & Mrs. Chambers - as well as the electrician himself were all very professional and punctual. Dominic came to the home promptly on the scheduled day, inspected the wiring to the A/C compressors and pool equipment (after Superstorm Sandy), and made any necessary repairs - all in less than 90 minutes. He called me upon his arrival to my parents' home and upon completing the stated work. Our family asked for an electrical assessment as some HVAC contractors were suggesting are compressors were damaged in the storm and needed to be replaced, while other HVAC contractors said the compressors were fine and it was more an electrical problem. We wanted a formal electrician to assess the situation before investing thousands of dollars in new compressors and air handlers. It turns out that the wiring to one compressor was bad. Hopefully hopefully this will solve our A/C problem and we will not have to purchase a whole new AC system.

We're very pleased. No need to look for another electrician.

+ 0 moreI have two brick posts in my driveway that have lanterns, and they are forty years old. The screws had corroded so I couldn't get the top off to change the light bulb. I tried drilling the screw off but was not successful and finally I gave us and went out to the local store and got the 16:40, one for each post. So the electrician came out and removed the old lights and put in the new ones that I bought. He also replaced the automatic lights on the outside over the garage door. He did a good job. He also installed my automatic garage doors two years ago.

+ -1 moreCalled the office on a Friday afternoon, and was promised a proposal and price on Monday. The woman who answered the phone said Mike Chamberlain would do a "drive by" to assess the problem. Was surprised and happy that they actually did call me back on Monday with a proposal, a price and a date and time that they'd return two days later to fix it. Repairman showed up on time, price was exactly what they had given me, and the job was done in less than 30 min. I'd not hesitate to call them again.
Description of Work: Called to have electrical wires from the street re-attached to the house, as well as attaching the conduit through which the wires ran. The wires were hanging down so low that a truck would not fit under them, and the electric company said it was not their responsibility.

A HVAC technician determined it was a defective circuit breaker on the power panel, but wasn't licensed to do electrical repairs. I called Mike Chambers Electrical and made an appointment for a service technician to look at the problem, and was given a quote for the hourly rate for the electrician. The appointment was for a morning after 8:30 AM and the technician arrived in the morning as scheduled. He tested the suspected breaker and determined it was indeed defective and removed it. He went to his service truck, found a replacement, and installed it. The air conditioning system was able to start and operate.
Description of Work: Technician checked function of a suspected failed circuit breaker, determined it was defective, and replaced.
