Work was done quickly, neatly, professionally, and with minimal disruption. I'm very happy with the results. I intentionally didn't pick the lowest cost estimate, but instead picked the one that I had most confidence in their abilities. I think Mike Chambers Oakhurst Electric was the best choice.

They did a good job and determined there was not an electrical problem. The issue was more related to the furnace. I apreciate their honesty and I would highly recommend them. They are genuine, easy to talk to and they are likeable people. I will definitely use them again.

Mike Chambers ' team did an excellent job. My wife and I had a relatively straightforward request - install two quad outlets in a room with only one existing outlook (on a different, but adjacent wall). We got a couple of other estimates in the $1,200 range. In one case, an electrician said he would tap the existing outlet and then would need to cut a channel in the wall to the new outlets. The other said he would have to cut out holes in the drywall at multiple points between the existing and new outlets. In both cases, we would have to repair the drywall, spackle, and paint. Greg from Mike Chambers' came out and suggested tapping an outlet in the room next door. This way, he could snake wires from the existing outlet to the new outlets and would not have to do any damage to the walls. Greg's team ended up doing the job for a fraction of the cost and completed the work in about 35 minutes (the other's estimated a 4-6 hour job). We couldn't believe how painless and relatively inexpensive this project was, especially after the other estimates we received. I would highly recommend Mike Chambers - they are knowledgeable and ethical!

He went directly to panel. Found the correct circuit. Discovered the breaker was failing. Surprised to find it could not be removed, By-passed that one. Installed new breaker. Problem solved !

The installer had nailed the connector shut and it completed the circuit so now my AC wouldn't shut off! Mike fixed it all.

The panel is really very old and needed to be replaced. They reinstalled, fixed my breakers, labeled everything, cleaned up after themselves. I give him an AAAAAAA

The transformer installation was fine. The electrician (Wes) seemed very knowledgeable, and very professional. Pricing seemed to be on par with other quotes. Response time was a bit waned, as we had to follow up with them on getting quotes and the coordinator Sharon seemed a bit frazzled and curt with a busy schedule. If I had one sugestion, it would be that the Friday before the installation (which was supposed to be Monday), they contacted us and said that the electrician is on vacation (returning Monday) and they were not sure if he had all the right parts, to move it to Tues. A little more advance notice would have been appreciated as this home is an hour away from our primary residence and we have to take off work to come down. They knew that when we booked our appt 2 weeks earlier :). Otherwise, great job!

I have used him for years. I have used him for a number of things. He is who I turn to for electrical things.

I found two electrical contractors through Angie’s list and set up time for an estimate. Each sales representative arrived on time, took stock of the work required, clearly described the process and what I should expect as the final product, and within a few days, I had two estimates for the work. The estimate from Mike Chambers Oakhurst Electric was lower, but it was not the price that sold me. It was my experience with the sales person, the office staff, and the fact that they are a family owned business that sold me. I contracted with Mike Chambers Electric and I am so glad I did. The entire experience was effortless. I have worked with many types of contractors in the past and always have had to fight with them to honor the unwritten but spoken agreement for their work. This was not so with Mike Chambers Electric. The team arrived on the job on-time, allowed me to watch their work and ask questions, and completed the work in one day. The team was hard working and respectful of my Mother when she came outside to observe their progress. I cannot say enough good things about my experience and the professionalism of the team. If you have any need for electrical work, call Mike Chambers’ Oakhurst Electric and know that they are a company you can count on to complete your project quickly, safely, and at a fair price.

They did a fabulous job. It was a very good price for three systems and the breaker. They were in and out of there and it took an hour at the most. They cleaned up and took their boxes with them.

I made an appointment last week for today, June 8, to check 2 attic ventilators that are not working. I was told we were the 2nd stop on the list and they should be here before 12pm. No one showed up or called, so at 2pm, I called Chambers and was told the order was not in the book and the person who booked the appointment was on vacation and could not be reached. The person I spoke to apoligized, but I told her that we had been waiting all day for service to come, and that was unacceptable, and that I would find someone else. We have used Mike Chambers service before and have had an issue with the time they showed up, but this is a first. Unfortunately it will be the last time I call them.

This is the first vendor I used from Angie's list, and I am now a believer. I was skeptical on why this service was worth the money, but after my experience with Chambers Electric I am a happy member. Chambers Electric was fantastic! They came out on time, fixed the circuit issue quickly, were courteous, the cost was exactly what they said it should be, and they ensure we validated all of the work done was correct. At the end of each part of the job they had me confirm it worked as I had specified, confirmed any and all related parts of the house were fine. We had a quick change to our scope and they were able to accommodate it without issue. Chambers Electric will be our Electrician henceforth.

The job went extremely well. The electricians arrived on time, performed all the work, were detailed and meticulous with their work, and did a great job. And, the office manager Sharon was great to work with!

I had some work done on my home preparing it for sale. Afterwards, the circuit breaker kept tripping and a bedroom circuit was completely dead. The electrician from Mike Chambers came and figured out that the wiring was all messed up in a couple of places. It looks like the handyman screwed the wiring when he removed a light and for some reason rewired an electric socket. The electrician sorted it out very quickly and professionally. Moral of story: never let a handyman touch your wiring. Next time I will call these guys and avoid a potential fire or electrocution.

They are very professional and very customer oriented. He did exactly what I asked for.

I wasn't on site but my property mgr was satisfied with what he learn from the visit and found a way to fix the problem in future.

It took about not even a half an hour and the, I believe, is about $175. If I had a complaint about the guy who put the electrical line in, I didn't like his comment about getting another Fireplace guy because he said I don't need a permit. But other than that, he did what he had to do and he passed inspection. Well, it was an easy job. The fact that he came and did it and it was very quick. It was filled out of money. Maybe that's their minimum, $175. That's a lot of money to just want to fire.

They were very good. They are good at what they do, customer service is good. The electrician that came out was knowledgeable and efficient, so, good all around. It was for some work in my mom's house to check a circuit box, put up a couple of light fixtures, repair light switch, so, basic stuffs. The person that I talked to before the service was very knowledgeable. The customer service was terrific.

They were okay but they were expensive. They are kind of an institutional-sized operation so their people are trained and professional and their equipment is good and because of that, I think perhaps, they're more expensive than the local guys and not quite as responsive. They did recent competent work but it cost more than I would have liked. I felt like I needed to think of every little detail to tell them, which I guess is fair enough, but with a lot of the local guys they just kind of bring to your attention like, "Hey, I was here. I saw these things and you might want things have done." I am not an electrician so it's good to have that kind of help. These guys are not really like that. They just have a list to execute and then they leave then I'd be like, "Wait, here's two things you should have done when you were down there." That was a little frustrating.
