I believed that the two gentlemen I initially met with would do the job; however, that was not the case. The morning that the job was to start, the two gentlemen arrived and appeared to set up the job. I had to leave my home for an appointment, and when I returned, the two men were not there, but there was a gentleman in my home, working by himself. I was a bit uneasy, because there was no mention of another person working in my home. Let me stress that the worker was exceptional...he performed an awesome job, all by himself, which included a cathedral ceiling and 2-story walls. Not a drop of paint anywhere...he was amazing. Good people, good price, GREAT job...just wish ETC explained that someone, other than the initial guys, would be doing the job.

We were very pleased as we had some challenges (not because of etc) and Eddy & Francisco along with all there workers always came up with options and solutions. The crew was always very neat and courteous to our family. We are planning on doing additional work next year and will be contacting them again

. This was a wonderful experience. Eddie responded promptly to our call for an estimate, and the job was completed on the first day that we were available to have it done. The price was fair and as quoted, workmanship was perfect, clean-up was immaculate -by far the best home improvement experience we have had in quite some time! We will definitely call Eddie if we need anything done in our new home!!!

This is a very professional company who I would highly recommend. Everything went smoothly as expected, as I have had them paint for me in the past. Francisco and one painter (name escapes me) arrived to move the furniture and cover the floors. Then the one painter remained for the full 8 hours. He managed his time perfectly. He took the time to knock back popped nail heads and smooth out bumps. I had several wall holes needing patching, which was done as well. Getting the kitchen ceiling done was a nice extra. Near the end of the 8 hours, Francisco returned and the two men put everything back in order. They were very prompt and courteous and took the time to quickly discuss possible future projects. Looking forward to having them back soon.

They were prompt. The painter worked hard all day and did a great job. I have already asked them to come back again for another project in my house.

9-10 years ago we had painted the room with sand paint then a few years later began to regret that decision. we had etc in to do 2 other rooms recently and he gave us a price to fix the dining room. It came out great and they came when they said and worked neat and did a good job minimizing the dust. Only issue is he did not tell us it was a 2 day job. Looking back I should have realized it but I have a flexible job took off 1 day then worked from home the other.

Around 5 x 5 ft2 of our original ceiling tile within our basement just came collapsing down one day as it had been stapled directly to the wooden beam by the previous owners. A couple of handy men tried to fix it with little success. A decision was therefore made to replace the tiles with sheetrock. We decided to also replace the flooring at it was getting worn out as it was white linoleum. Several contractors inspected the site and provided us with quotations. Also got a specialized basement contractor recommended by Home Depot. Either they could only do the flooring or the sidewalls. Neither one of them wanted to do the ceiling. None of them could do eveything and their pricing was high. Saw this Flooring deal on Angie's list and dropped an email. Frasceso from ETC promptly arrived on a Saturday and patientlly listen to us and sent us a quotation the following day for the floowing and ceiling. As we were planning to do the ceiling and flooring we thought it would be perfect time to also get rid of the wallpaper on the side walls and renovate the entire basement. Edmilson the owner of the company arrived the following day and we discussed the entire project. He recommended to remove the sidewalls and fix new sheetrock too. He said he could do the entire project for us and we received a quotation from them. Edmilson using his preferred vendor also got us a good deal on a flooring, a $4.99 ft2 was obtained for $2.99, we compared the prices with other stores too. Around 10 days were spent on the demolition of the ceiling tiles, removal of the side panels and linoleum. There was a wet bar which was also removed. This was followed by 10 days required to fix the sheetrock on the ceiling and sidewalls. After spackling and sanding a coat of paint was applied. We decided to paint the side wall with a light yellow paint and contrasted with an Autumn colored accent wall. The concrete flooring was cleaned and a coating of high quality sealant applied for water resistance. The flooring was completed in two days. A second coating of paint was applied and the light fixtures secured. In five days the railing was built secured with spindles. The railings and steps were stained. The baseboards were fixed. A third coating of paint was applied and here we had our renovated basement. Edmilson and Fransesco spent an extra day to inspect the entire work and give the final touches to the entire project. Edmilson and Fransesco were extremely curteous and respectful. As both my wife and I had to go to work, we left our house un-attended while they were at work and had no issues. At the end of the day the area was cleaned and evey attempt made to avoid dust reaching the other levels of the house. It was a pleasure getting this work done with this group. I have highly recommended them to my Friends and sure they will use them. A Job well done.

They were always very prompt, either Francisco or Eddy came and surveyed the job everyday. Everything turned out as expected. Very polite, high quality work, very flexible, proactive and a reasonable price. The job took 9 days in total. The painter was polite and VERY neat. They always cleaned and vacuumed at the end of each day. Not only I'd recommend them to a friend but I've already asked an estimate for another project.

ETC was very responsive after I purchased the deal. We set and appointment. They called to confirm a few days before. They showed up as promised and did a great job! Would definitely recommend and would hire them again.

ETC came within a day to assess the damage to our kitchen. We received a quote within 24 hours. 4 large pieces of Sheetrock were removed from the ceiling, replaced, taped, spackled & painted. We also chose to add crown molding, which they provided the materials for. Along with the repairs, the entire kitchen needed to be painted due to Sheetrock removal & replacement. The kitchen pantry closet needed a complete rip out of sheetrock and insulation and replacement. As this project required sanding and repeated spackling, ETC did a good job at containing the dust to the work area. They also thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed the entire area and removed all debris. The painting was phenomenal and at less than half the price we paid a number of years ago with another contractor. The painting also included repairing any walls which had existing blemishes. ETC worked continuously through a 6 day period. They were prompt, explained the repairs and provided ideas on paint and closet design (as we wanted as much usable space as possible). They provided a large paint sampler and all the supplies needed for all repairs. This is our second time hiring ETC for our home. Thumbs up, we are very pleased with their work.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal, 499.00 for 2 painters for 8 hrs each. 2 hours later I received a reply from etc. home improvement wanting to come by and see job. They were very prompt, Francesco and Eddy came and surveyed the job, told me what they could do and provided a detailed estimate for the extras. They gave me a large book of paint colors for us to select our choice of paint. They only use Benjamin Moore, which turned out beautiful. My walls and ceiling in the bedroom were so bad that it took them one whole day to scrape, spackle and sand the bedroom. They had to come back a second day to do all of the painting. They extended me a discounted rate for the second day. Overall it took 3 days, one day to install crown moldings and install the medicine chest, one day to do the prep work and the last day to paint. The person who did the crown molding was accurate and it came out perfectly. The painters were polite and VERY neat. Francesco came each day to drop off the painters and came back each night to look at their work and pick them up. There was a problem with the first medicine chest fitting in my existing hole in the wall. Francesco and Eddy were really patient with me, when there was difficulty finding a medicine chest that fit and finding one in stock in my area. I just received an estimate for some more work for a stairway and hall. I will be using them in the future. My 2 rooms came out better than could be expected. I just love the work they did. I highly recommend them and thank them for their wonderful work.

Actually I was a little concerned hiring painters at the offered rate of 499 for 2 painters for the day (big deal). We decided to go for it and were very happy with the results. They were on time worked neat and cleaned up. Most of all they did a very good job. We have 1 more room that needs to be painted and they gave us a price at the end of the day for that. Will most likely get it done in a few weeks.

They stabilized four large columns in front of our home and replaced some rotting wood back in May and we had a couple of issues with the work they did. They came immediately and corrected the problem which was not entirely their responsibility. Recommend them highly! Would definitely use them again!

Ripped down old tiles. replaced it with sheetrock, spackled, primed and painted.

I have used ETC in the past and they continue to impress! Their work is fabulous. I have had beautiful hardwood flooring installed by ETC and now they have painted my living room/hallway and I couldn't be more pleased. They were punctual, professional and I would definitely hire them again.

It was good. It turned into a major job but they did a good job. They were very flexible.

ETC Home Improvements arrived more than 2 hours late for the scheduled appointment. They were professional and seemed to know what they were doing. We followed up a few days later for their price quote because we were anxious to have the work performed. We were shocked when we received their pricing. ETC was more than double the other 2 prices that we received to paint the 2 bedroom townhouse ($5,500). They were more than 3 times higher than the other estimates that I received to sand and stain 12 stairs (their price was $2,200). Their flooring installation price was the highest but not as ridiculous as the rest of their quotes but included an unexplained $250 line item. They suggested that I replace 5 shelves in the kitchen pantry and stated they would only charge us for the wood. The 5 shelves were on their quote for $300 (not sure where they were purchasing 15 feet of wood). Based on their Angie's list reviews we were expecting competitive pricing. Perhaps they thought we were too eager to get the work performed and tried to highball us. Obviously, we went with the other people that I found on Angie's list that have excellent reviews.

He did the job without any problems, he even did an extra power washing of my outdoor furniture. He noticed additional rot and made repairs. He is coming back to do some masonry. Overall a stress free experience for me. I just misunderstood the estimate and he trusted me unlike many who want to be paid in advance and than leave quickly he did all work. I need a touch up on my back door but he said call him and he will return.

A big rainstorm / snow melt destroyed the new laminate floor in my basement last Winter. Since the water came through the windows , I had to tear down some sheet rock and insulation because it got wet and I was afraid of mold . I started doing the work myself when I realized that I'm not a professional. I got an e-mail from Angie's list about a special deal from ETC HOME IMPROVEMENT offering laminate floor installation... FOR ALMOST THE SAME PRICE MOST COMPANIES WOULD HAVE CHARGED , THEY PUT MY WALLS AND CEILING BACK TOGETHER , AS WELL AS MY BEAUTIFUL NEW FLOOR ...SOMETHING THAT WOULD HAVE TAKEN ME FOREVER TO DO AND THE QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP WAS SECOND TO NONE!!!!! I would highly recommend this company for their expertise, as well as the courteous workers they employ and the integrity in which they work.

ETC home improvement was amazing! They showed up on time. Covered all the furniture & floor and got right to work. Their work was meticulous and every evening they cleaned the room before leaving for the night. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants the job done right. They have proven that there is a big difference between doing it yourself and leaving it to the professionals. Highly recommended!

ETC did a phenomenal job. They were truly professional and they transformed my home from a mildew smelling mess to a beautiful home that brought smiles to my face and tears to my eyes. Ed and Francesco were very helpful in their advise and I am so glad that I found them. Every member of their team was trustworthy and when I had to leave the home for a couple of days due to the sanding and finishing of my main floor I had absolutely no second thoughts about leaving my keys with them. The dedication of the craftsman that laid my tile in the entranceway and kitchen was beyond belief he laid the floor in the early morning and came back at 8pm to grout the floor to minimize the amount of time my family had to be away from home. The gentleman who replaced my wooden floor and painted the majority of my home also had unbelievable work ethics. They were all hard workers, pleasant and cleaned up at the end of each day. I would give A++ and the highest of recommendations.

First, this is an update to my previous review. That review explained that the provider was extremely gracious to my constant postponing of the start of the job. He was very courteous and friendly and never made me feel like I was bothering him. We postponed probably 5 times as my general contractor and township made scheduling impossible. But once I finally had a firm date, the provider accepted the start date. So on the start date, they showed up on time and even with some minor equipment problems soon had the floor started and rolling along. At the end of the first day, about 60% of the floor was installed. They cleaned up very well and then on the next day, showed up on time again and soon had the floor totally installed. The floor looked great. Again, after the job, they cleaned up and were very cooperative. The bill was as expected and there was very little waste. The floor looks great. My wife and I are very pleased. This was a combination of the Angie's List Big Deal for part of the floor and the balance was done at the provider's discounted retail rate. Overall price was great, far below what would have been paid if using installers from Lowe's for example which is where I bought the flooring. And in terms of cooperation and friendliness, these guys are the best.

I advised that I was not ready yet and would contact later on to set up an installation date. Unfortunately my husband was laid off and I am not able to use this service.
