As about as good as it gets....in our home we have a recovering cancer patient who can NOT be in a warm environment. Our air conditioner broke on a hot day in June, 2017. That very night, a representative of the company came to inspect the machine and told us what had to be done and that it would take about 2 weeks for the work to be performed. We informed him of the situation above and he called his office manager, a wonderful lady named Lisa. She emailed us at 11:00 PM that night and said she would rearrange the schedule. Four days later, everything was done. Amazing service and highly recommended....

Very pleased with entire job and it was done quickly and efficiently. All work areas were left clean at completion and they ensured that each baseboard was working properly before leaving. I'm happy with the work and will have Brown's complete other plumbing repairs/improvements in the future.

The heater tune up call was really a sales call. Many upgrades were recommended. The water tube for our humidifier had a leak, they said it would be $640 to repair! That was more than we paid for the humidifier!

Workers were very professional. They put down drop cloths to keep floors clean and protected before starting work, removed the old furnace, and added more ducts and registers to an old system. They honored the $200 Angie's list coupon, also called to let me know they would apply for the available energy rebates for me.

Excellent customer service , excellent salesman, excellent install. price was competitive, and they applied from my permit took care of my state and federal rebates. There was a slight leak after system installed and when I called for service, someone was there within a half hour of my call, late in evening. Price also came with five year full service warranty. Would highly recommend.

Great. Seems that did the trick. Heat turns on quickly after 2 winters of poor heating. Essentially they charged me for the service visit + tax which is more than fair.

I've used Brown's in my new house, which is all electric and I used Brown's 15 years ago, where they converted my condo from all electric to gas. They did a wonderful job. He was very reasonable. I was expecting the worst and it turned out it was a minor part that he put in and he had it on his truck. He said that it was something that is the first thing to go when this happens. He also put in a fuse that was outside. He said it just didn't look a hundred percent and he put that in after I paid him. So he didn't even charge me for that. I found them to be very reputable. They show up when they're supposed to. I won't go with anybody else. They were on time.

Why I chose Brown’s for this project: - I began by writing to Unico Systems, the manufacturer of the system I wanted, to ask for a list of contractors in my area who install their products. Their regional sales rep. didn’t give me a list. He just told me to “Call Ray Dietrich at Brown’s.” I took that as an endorsement, not just a referral. Unico’s website lists area contractors and I did invite two others to give me proposals. One did, so I had two proposals to compare. - Easy to do business with: Brown’s got back to me promptly, communicated well, kept their appointments, and were always friendly and responsive - Ray Dietrich used what I recognized as industry-standard practices to design and propose a system to meet my cooling needs. - Brown’s gave me the better proposal. Another contractor offered a lower price than Brown’s but for a system with less cooling capacity. When I asked both contractors how they determined the size system needed, I had high confidence in the answer from Brown’s. Ray Dietrich took good measurements when he made his initial visit, then completed the industry-standard ACCA Manual J load calculation and showed me his results. Not so for the low bidder, who did not take good measurements and notes when he made that first visit, and had no convincing answer to my question. This was the main reason I selected Brown’s to do the work. - From proposal through installation, Brown’s demonstrated knowledge, craftsmanship, and a wealth of experience. Installing the system: - Brown’s began work promptly at 9 am on the date promised. - They estimated in advance that it would take 4-5 days. It took 4 days. - Joe and his crew worked quickly, neatly, and were always friendly and courteous with us and with each other. - They clearly knew what they were doing! Their depth of experience was obvious and their skilled workmanship very much appreciated. - Joe consistently made excellent, thoughtful choices about where to put things and how to install them to minimize system noise and make it as unobtrusive and esthetically pleasing as possible. - Ray and Joe were happy to answer all my questions. I asked them lots of questions about how and why, and I learned a lot from their wise answers. Excellent - no complaints. Clean, prompt, responsive, and detail oriented. Would definitely hire again! The copper work was a thing of beauty. Brian is a master craftsman with those lines.

The motor on our furnace went out around midnight the week between Christmas and New Years. With 3 small kids in the house and 40 degrees outside, it was getting cold fast. We called Brown's and Josh came over in a flash. He was so kind, friendly and professional. He was able to manually crank the furnace motor which kept us warm through the night until they were able to come back the next day with the new replacement motor. Everyone we dealt with was wonderful, communicative, nice and got the job done. Very grateful that we had this experience during a time that could have been very stressful!

Everything went fine. We just thought the price was on the high side.

While the plumber who came to my house was professional and polite, I was a bit shocked at the estimate he gave me for the work. This was supposed to be for 2 showers in two seperate bathrooms. After he looked at one bathroom, I knew I was getting ripped off and I asked him to leave. Both showers needed the same exact thing. I asked the plumber to leave, and he asked me for $99 for coming to my house, which I refused to pay, being that I was never told to get the estimate their would be a fee. Had I let Browns do this job, it would have cost a bit more than $900 for the work and the fee to come to my house. I wound up hiring another plumber who completed the work to my satisfaction for $150. That would put Browns at 6 times the cost of this other plumber. I thought others should know about this, as its not cool to feel completely ripped off by any contractor.

We just purchased our townhome and I needed a good review of the AC and heating system from someone who knows this stuff. The tech they sent was excellent and spent a lot of time explaining the system. He also helped balance the air flow and explained some alternatives and why it works as it does. It was a big help and much appreciated.

Extremely well. John (tech) and Josh (manager) are both very professional and approachable. Answered all my questions and couldn't have been nicer guys. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work.

Purchased the Service Package for AC and Heat. Scheduled the AC at the time of visiting the Brown's Showroom. Josh Dusenbery was the Technician and he was probably the most informative and honest person on HVAC I have ever met. We reviewed the filter choices I had and Josh showed me how to get rid of the nasty electronic unit and move to a filter. He also brought tons of tools and testing gadgets to my house. We reviewed what was going on with my Heater and AC. He spoke in plain English and I felt that he was actually giving me great advice, not the usual upsell BS. Looking forward to having Brown's come over and give me an estimate on replacing my entire system, they seem to be a firm that you can trust

Within 45 days I had the hot water heater and furnace replaced. They were competitive with their pricing and professional. Great company to use.

Well done - Ray was very informative and low key when he visited to survey our home and provided multiple proposals to give us options that fit our needs and budget. He answered all of our questions and helped educate us on the various options and technology. Once we settled on the system options the work was quickly scheduled and Jay and the rest of the crew were punctual, clean, and treated me and our home professionally throughout the two day installation process. Brown's was not the cheapest nor the most expensive of the firms who quoted our job, but they made us feel the most comfortable and we are very happy we chose them for our job.

It took 2 full day's to take out the old system and replace all the units.

Everything went as expected

Starting with Ray and all the way through the install everyone was great. Aaron had some great innovative ideas running the lines/vents so we did not have to cut into our beautiful old hardwood floors. They were clean, diligent, punctual and professional.

Never on time. Customer service is deplorable. I used them for 20 years, but no more. Look elsewhere.

The installers arrived on time and the work was performed as promise. All installation was done very professionally and the area was cleaner than before the installation. The Lennox Units are working great. Also installed a new Lennox iComfort thermostat. The thermostat works as expected and is easy to use. I received a couple of quotes from other installers, Browns price was slighter higher but they offered the 90% efficient unit, well worth the difference!
