We were very pleased with the entire job.

They completely straightened it out and I finally had full heat all winter long no matter how cold it got outside.

Excellent ! I called after hours and got the technician at the house within one hour !!! Furnace diagnosed as having a broken motor blower... could not be repaired that night and the part was still under warranty. Kevin the technician returned two days later as I could not be home the next day and installed a brand new motor blower covered under warranty including the labor. Total cost $ 0 . Can ask for anything more !

I have a 3 year old house which had heating issues from first winter. The heating system would turn on then shut down over and over. I hired another contractor who said my flue was not installed correctly by the builder so water would build up and the furnace would shut down. He said someone would have to climb on roof and fix the crooked flue but he didnt do that. I called my builder who disputed this of course. I called brown for a second opinion who in minutes figured out furnace was installed incorrectly and the water condensing couodnt drain out so furnace shut down. 15 min fix just adjusting drainage pipe. Lucky i didnt pay someone to fix something on my roof that didnt need fixing which would have much much more expensive. I will use brown if anything pops up again.

Horribly - they almost blew up my house. When the technician was leaving I told him I smelled gas. He told me no, that smell would burn off. Again, I said but that smells like gas. He assured me it wasn't. Over the course of the weekend the smell was so bad I had to leave the windows open when I was in the house. Then I went away for two days and the windows were closed - and that's when the entire house filled with gas. There was indeed a gas leak and when the gas company was called, they couldn't even locate the leak until all the windows and doors were left open for 20 minutes to make it safe enough to go inside. The tech never closed a gas valve. In addition to that, I had asked if I would be getting a filter box and was assured I was. When the tech was leaving I asked if he could show me where/how to change the filter and what size filter I needed. He wasn't sure of the size filter because he didn't have any owner's manuals for me, he didn't have a filter - he took a filter I had for my previous furnace and told me he made it fit but I "probably" needed one about an inch or so smaller. And not only did he not install a filter box, to get to my filter I now needed to remove the cover, then unscrew another cover with a screwdriver to get to my filter. After I called and complained and had them meet with the gas company to show them the open gas valve, they did come back and fix it.

Have been using them for probably 30 years. Their prices are competitive, but not lowest. The work is performed in a professional manner. And they stand by their work.

Changing thermostat batteries seemed to fix the problem. More generally, they're my go-to experts for heating, AC, and plumbing.

I had to spring for a new furnace installation so, it would be kind of silly for me to say it went excellently. However, sales guy, Josh, and installers, Andy and Frank were punctual, professional and personable. They were knowledgeable and efficient at their craft. All three were excellent ambassadors for their company. I was totally impressed with this company and plan to use them again in the near future. I highly recommend them.

I have been working with Brown's Heating and Plumbing for quite a while. They are professionals that can be counted on over and over. They are consistent, competent, courteous, and they never disappoint with respect to honoring their commitments. I highly recommend Brown's for all heating, plumbing and AC needs.

Some plumbers would have immediately recommended that I spend a lot of money of thawing machines. This was not Browns recommendation, and they were correct. I have used Browns for years, and, in addition to the quality of their work and customer service, I appreciate the honesty and integrity of the company.

The techs were punctual, professional and did their best to protect the walls and floor. The techs were punctual on what was being done and why. They explained preventative maintenance to make this heater last and perform to it’s expectations.

Everything went well. the air conditioning and the heating conversion was 2 or 3 days and it was in a very warm humid time frame and I had no air conditioning after they left. I had to wait a good long time for them to come back and turned out they never put the fuse in the outside breaker of the air conditioning compressor unit... other than that everything went well.

I have been satisfied with all of the work that Brown's has done for me. They are very professional and do high quality work at a fair price. They are my first choice for cooling and heating related matters and I would not hesitate in recommending them to others.

Every aspect of the process was first rate. Lisa in the office, Aaron's quick response and estimate and finally the installation crew were punctual, professional and personable.

Original appointment was to be 8:00 Friday. Thursday I received a call from their service mgr. saying two of their techs called in sick. I agreed to move job to Monday 8:00. The Browns techs showed up 1 1/2 hours late. They claimed they got lost! BTW, my home is 6 miles away from their shop in Red Bank and I live on Main Street! When they finally arrived I showed them where the unit was... they said they would start work as soon as they finished their breakfast in the truck. (Oh yeah, it's gonna be one of those days) From this first "We got lost..." interaction I decided I would watch them like a hawk. Q: "Why do you have screws left over from my unit? Where did they come from?" Reply: "Oh it must be from the inside unit, oh yeah it goes here! Q: Why is the wall unit not hanging flush to the wall?" Reply: "Oh its not the clips are not engaging properly." After the re-route of the new copper lines it was lunch time. After lunch, they were to recharge the freon coolant. "Oh yeah, we forgot to buy more freon when we were out at lunch, maybe there is enough freon in this nearly empty canister". I asked how much coolant does my unit need? Answer: "Well, it's gotta be less than a couple pounds, not really sure". I asked them to call the free Samsung technical support line. Answer: "Nah, we will figure it out somehow...." After they finished charging the unit, I asked how much freon did you put in? Answer: "Don't know but It took all we had!" (I figured later I would check with Samsung myself to make sure it was filled to capacity after they left. Sadly, they could not tell me how much freon they put in it. It seems their meter was broken. The tech said, "Do you know how expensive it is to get these meters fixed? Maybe I will get them fixed soon" Bottom Line: While my Samsung mini-split the unit seems to work, I have no certainty that the unit has been serviced properly... and fact is neither does the Brown's techs! Final Impression: I consider this service experience from Browns HVAC amateurish and anything but professional. These guys were more like a comedy team than quality HVAC professionals. I seriously question using Browns ever again.

He said that my furnace cracked in 3 or 4 different places. They replaced the furnace. They worked on it right away and were here within days to install it. When they took the old furance out, he showed me where the cracks were and how dangerous it would have been this winter. The crack was right by the flame and could've easily ignited. They also installed my water tank as well when it burst on Thanksgiving Day as well as my air conditioner a few years ago. The office staff is fantastic. Lisa, in the office, was very, very acommodating. When she says she's going to call you back, she will call you back. The workers did a good job, finished the job in 1 day, they were here for 8 hours. They cleaned up and took everything away.
