Description of Work: They came to my home, gave me an estimate. They were 6 times more expensive than the other plumber who estimated the job. Then they tried to get $99 for just coming to my house. I spoke to their office and objected and this fee which I was never told about existed for an estimate only was waived after I strongly objected. I would never use this company again. Its not even like they were twice as expensive.......they were 6 times the cost. I am actually shocked!

Description of Work: Brown's performed services for me which I have paid for. They have replaced my hot water tanks with a tankless system. In the spring they installed an new HVAC system. They are brilliant, think outside the box, immaculate, respectful. I will no longer shop around for any other service provider who does this type of work. There is no better.

The VP and their folks are very responsive by phone, txt, email and even in the late hours. Installation was fast. Very minimal cosmetic issues after installation and quickly resolved. Even though there were some unforeseen issues during and after installation the Brown installers addressed them right away and to our satisfaction. The system works 100% better and we no longer have the 25% to 15% temperature differences between rooms and the need to run three additional dehumidifiers to make the house comfortable in the summer.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced two Trane HVAC systems (previously installed and sized incorrectly by another company in 2003) and 90% of the duct work. Zone 1 (lower floors) had a Lennox G61 gas furnace, air cleaner, and humidifier installed and reused the Trane 13 Seer AC unit. The furnace location was moved into the center of the basement and additional registers and returns were created to improve air distribution. Zone 2 (upper floors) had a Lennox G60V variable speed gas furnace, Lennox XC16@17 seer air conditioner, and a two zone air management system installed making the whole house 3 separate zones. The bedroom registers were relocated closer to the windows with returns placed at the opposite end of the room. All the duct work in the attic spaces are insulated and taped to reduce heat or cool air lost.
