The process went very smoothly. First the company came out to assess the work and develop a quote After several months, we were ready to proceed with the work. They were at our home for just over a week and completed installing two air conditioning units. They system is working great and everything was done neatly. A fragile item was broken during the work and the company took responsibility to repair it. Overall, one of the best qualities of this company was that they took time to talk with us and made sure we were comfortable with the placement of both systems and all ducts.

EVERYTHING went very well! Great owner, staff and installers. Even the Town inspectors were impressed with the job!

The technician identified the problem, explained the repair to me, then replaced the broken part and checked the system in less than an hour. He was friendly, professional and efficient. I highly recommend this company.

Installation was delayed due to miscommunication from the vendor. Ended up having to deal with office staff rather than the contractor. Was told the Honeywell Generator was as good as a Generac and available (Generac was back ordered) However, I have had repeated problems with the generator shutting down. Seems to happen every time I go on vacation, which does not provide me with the piece of mind I had expected. My neighbor has had no problems with her Generac that Bloomfield installed a few years ago. The Electrical section of this vendor is very good. I would use them again.

Their servicing of the AC units went fine. They connected one of the thermostats with no problem. However, the other thermostat was problematic. They installed it and it didn't seem to have power. After ten minutes they realized the lead from the boiler did not have a live 24V connection. So, the technician said I'd have to speak with the office about rescheduling an appointment as they didn't have the part they needed (a transformer) and it was mid-afternoon on a Friday. When I did call up after 10 days or so, the office assistant said she'd look into it. She called back a day or so later and quoted me a price of another $250 to install the transformer on the boiler so the thermostat would be powered. I was more than a little surprised since 1) the part is cheap (I checked); 2) there is no need to run wiring through the walls (which can be time-consuming) and 3) NO ONE asked me about this or mentioned it when I called to have the thermostat installed. It felt like a "gotcha" and I told her this should have been covered when I first called, or before they started installation. She just said she'd take it up with the technician and get back to me but no one called me back. Based on my experience, they were fine for the maintenance (though a bit on the expensive side) and seemed really eager to sell me a heating and cooling maintenance plan (especially since I got two mailings about it). Where I felt a bit stung is, they should have known to ask details or to check whether the thermostat needed a 24V input before installing it and then telling me getting it to work would cost another $250.

Even though they knew they couldn't work on my problem, they called me promptly to give me the name/number of a company that does work on the type of A/C I have. The person they recommended was prompt and professional.

After a scheduling mix-up, the owner called me and made things right. Mike the owner takes pride in his company. A rare quality. I will use them again.

I used Bloomfield for my A/C heat installation in our attic last year (new carrier system) and they did an outstanding job. Their quote was 2K less than everyone else out there (I got 4 other bids). My wife said they were extremely nice to her and our kids. They showed up exactly on time and worked diligently all day. They left the area cleaner than it was before and protected all carpets very well. This year we installed a new A/C in our basement. I didn't even bother to get any other quotes from competitors. I knew their price was going to be great and their service would be outstanding. I wouldn't call or trust anyone else to work on my A/C heat systems. Absolutely professional, absolutely the best price and absolutely the highest quality equipment and labor. Great job guys. I will recommend Bloomfield to anyone who needs a new system. Truly a A++ experience.

Appointment date/time was established and the service technician showed up at the appointed time. The service technician was very professional as he cleaned and checked the various system components. We needed to get a new filter (old one was 2 years old) and that added ~$65 to the price. Overall I am pleased with their service and responsiveness and highly recommend them.

It was a nightmare dealing with the company. He didn't do a proper job so I had to keep on calling them. The owner finally came out and adjusted some things. Now the pipe is sweating on the ceiling which has caused the ceiling to crash onto my carpet. He wouldn't allow me to explain anything to him. He is trying to dodge responsibility for this A/C. Everytime I call to say that the pipe is leaking, he tries to say that the roof

They were very good. We have two heating systems and we spent around $350. Both our systems are winterized. They were very responsive. I think it was Laurie who answered the phone, and answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. They gave me a price and that was what it was. The person who came to our house wore like booties on his feet. Whatever he did in the house was very clean. He was very nice. They did not try to up-sell anything which I appreciate and that was why I called them. They didn’t try to get us on a maintenance plan and things like that. They just did the job and gave us a fair assessment of our system. I would rate them highly and would absolutely use them again in the future.

It was very easy to make an appoint for the technician to come out to service the furnace within one week. Brian was our service technician and he was professional from start to finish.He explained the service package that we booked for and reviewed each part of the furnace that he serviced. We discussed the benefits of purchasing a more efficient furnace.

Everyone from the company was professional at every encounter. They showed up promptly each day. They consulted me where needed to keep me informed of the work being done and make sure I was happy with everything. At the end of each day, they were very good about cleaning up, sweeping up any debris before they left for the day. They always used drop clothes thoroughly so clean up was usually easy. The work crew (1 to 3 people depending on the day) was always quiet. You hardly knew they were there. The only thing I would have done differently was to modify the contract to retrain a percentage of the fee (maybe 10%) for after the town inspections were completed and passed. After work was complete, I had to call the Bloomfield several times to get my permit numbers. I don't understand why they didn't have it on file and couldn't simply give me the permit number. Now, I'm waiting for the final inspection so Bloomfield will process my rebates. Despite the frustration with the permit and inspection process, I have a great new AC system that is quiet and efficient. And the experience getting it up and running couldn't have gone better.

Have been using for over ten years to service my furnance and central A/C. Always punctual and never had a problem.

Got name from Angie's list, called and made an appointment. A technician came to do a service. Checked everything out, changed the filter, did a complete checkup/startup service.

The owner came personally to assess my situation, was very compassionate especially concerning a family medical situation, and gave me a very fair, encompassing price for a job that included many things I hadn't thought of. His workmen were excellent, both very professional and very good at what they did with a good temperament besides. They were EXTREMELY neat, efficient and careful and were there and finished exactly when they said would would be. The system works beautifully and they definitely will be my go-to heating/AC company going forward.

They were really good. The workers really fit into my schedule. I probably got five bids. Four of the guys came in and said what they were going to do and gave me a price. Bloomfield came out and asked if I had some hotspots. I said we had hotspot and they said what they can do for me is they would put a small cooling unit which will cost me less money. I got a better cooling from them. They properly sized the unit into the house replacing the existing one.

We had no air conditioning in really hot weather. These guys came out right away, unlike others we have dealt with, who would not come out for two weeks unless you bought an annual service plan. They fixed everything. We had used them before when our furnace had stopped pumping condensed water out and it was leaking onto the floor. Also used them when our whole-house humidifier would not work. They were the only ones who knew you can't expect a whole-house humidifier to keep working when you have REALLY hard water. (We had had four visits by other contractors who "fixed" the humidifier or installed a new one only to have it go bad again.) We have tried a number of heating/air conditioning companies, and Bloomfield Cooling and Heating is by far the best.

Dealing with Mike was a pleasure, The installation of our new 2 zone Carrier Heating/AC system was done on time, neatly and correctly.

The owner, Mike, came to our home on the date and time that was set up through the office. Lori in the office was very helpful in scheduling the appointment and answering any questions we had. We agreed on the installation date and price with Mike. He said it would be finished in one day. On the day of the installation, they arrived on time and started right to work. At first there was only one person, Jim, who was very professional and starting dismantaling the old units. My husband, a retired sheet metal worker, got involved a little bit and said these guys really know what they are doing. After the rest of the crew arrived, it went like clockwork. We also needed some new electrical work which they took care of at the same time. After everything was done they swept clean our basement, garage and driveway. It was cleaner than when they arrived! We can't say enough about how professional and good this whole company is to work with. We would highly recommend them.
