It went extremely well. He was extremely knowledgable, intelligent and informative. He quickly diagnosed the problem and explained issues about the fireplace I was not aware of. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Took Angieslist Bigdeal for gas log fireplace cleanup and tuning. It was worth it - not that we cannot do it ourselves but we dont do it ourselves :) - just like you can do oil change yourselves but ..you understand right? The scheduling wasnt the easiest one - possibly the Holidays were to blame. Technician did a good job - we started using fireplace - it looks much clean and neat now. Technician mentioned that sensor is not in best of shape but will work. But we ended up getting it replaced by him as I cannot prove but I get a feeling that sensor could have been left as it is..nevertheless its a fire related thing and I didnt want to take chance. $200 for sensor is a bit steep I guess but scheduling, staying at home for this is a pain.. Overall getting this done once in few years is worth it..

The company was responsive and quick to schedule. The person who came was very personable and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He sold me on an additional service while he was there, because he was able to do it right on the spot (he was there for a fireplace cleaning and sold me on a dryer vent cleaning). I'm glad he offered though because I would have never even thought to have it done. I will definitely be using the company again to get my heating vents cleaned out, because their prices are reasonable and they are professional and courteous. They're also very accommodating about scheduling.

The fist service rep that came to my house did minor works to my fireplace, he stated that I would need a sensor replaced but he have to order it. About a week later, no one called me for an update so I called the company. They apologized for the inconvenience, they informed me that they had to let go of the tech rep that came to my house due to similar complaint from other clients. I was promised that a new tech re[ would come to my house and finished what the other rep did not do. A day or two later, the tech rep came, and started working on my fire place. He cleaned it, tested it, made the necessary repairs and replaced a sensor. He retested it again and made sure that everything was in working order and to my satisfaction. I had no complaint, my fireplace works whenever I turn it on, providing excellent heat and a cozy atmosphere in our family home. I would high recommend WellDuct to anyone who would ask about my fireplace maintenance experience. Thanks for a job well done.

We had purchased the $99 deal for fireplace tune up and initially the tech came to do the service on Dec 18 but did a very poor job. It was so reflected in my review posted on January 1 in response to which the owner (Paul) called and apologized and offered to come back and do it right. He came on Friday Jan. 29 at the appointed time and took care of it. He ended up changing a part for which he did not charge for it as compensation for the poor job done by the first technician. The fireplace is now working just fine and we are happy with the work done and professionalism shown by Paul. Thank you.

The technician arrives an hour early and started right in. He had covers for his shoes so he wouldn't walk in the salt from outside since we has a major snowfall a few days before. He explained what he was going to do and the cost was exactly what he had quoted. He was well organized and efficient with professional equipment.

They seemed to do what they came to do. I should be a little bit more informed. My interactions with them were fine. They did what they were supposed to do. There should be an improvement in communication. There was a little bit of a language barrier.

First of all, I had missed reading the offer sent to my email address. When I looked up the offer on Angies's List, the offered had expired and I could not select it. I wrote back to WellDuct, asking if they would still honor the offer. Juliet replied: "Of course!" Now that is exemplary customer service! Juliet, Thank you for honoring the $99.00 offer. It is very much appreciated. We have a Vermont Castings Stardance Vent Free gas stove Purchased in 2007. Recently, it had been taking quite a few attempts to ignite the pilot light. The gas valve in the Pilot Light position had to be held for at least a minute, before gas was detected. Then it took multiple attempts to ignite the pilot with the push button spark igniter. Once the pilot lit and the gas is turned up, it stayed on for about 5 minutes and then it shut off. At times, while just leaving the pilot light lit with no gas to the logs, the pilot light would shut off by itself. The trouble shooting guide indicated, it may have been due to low gas pressure or insufficient oxygen (However, our family room is really a 3 season room and it is drafty. Temperatures do fall below 40 degrees in the room, during extremely cold days, which is why we need the gas stove there.) I supplied the owner?s manual and specifications sheet for the service technician?s convenience. Paul, the service technician arrived promptly, as scheduled. He thoroughly cleaned the stove and adjusted the pilot, which turned out to be the issue. From the initial phone call, the information, follow up and resulting service was excellent. I was concerned about possible "mess" since all my Christmas decorations were in place, etc. right near fireplace. Tech explained there would be no mess and would be completed very quickly. There was NO mess at all. He also explained why I was having a problem and what I could do to be sure to keep gas fireplace in good working order. He was very knowledgeable, professional and a delightful person to deal with. I plan to have them perform duct work cleaning in the Spring.

the technician came in and vacuum ALL the ashes (it was never cleaned for the past 8 yrs!) outside the chimney. He then proceeded to use the rotating brush to loosen up dirt and crap in the liner and vacuum the loose stuff. The chimney doesn't smell half as bad as before. He did checked the furnace and noticed a fair amount of dust accumulated on the blower motor and evap coil. We will be getting a quote for cleaning in the near future.

They arrived on time and left the fireplace nice and clean. I was very satisfied.

Well Duct's personnel took the time to analyze the problems related to the fireplace. They provided a good explanation on how to run and maintain system. Most importantly, they were able to start the fireplace running smoothly. The expertise, courtesy and customer service Well Duct provided were excellent. Well Duct is the most professional fireplace experts that ever worked on our fireplace.

The person was clean and efficient. However I don't think a vacuum job should cost $99.00 next year Ill do it myself. the office changed my appointment three times and they were still late arriving!

The technician was extremely knowledegable about the workings of our gas fireplace. He was able to correctly diagnose the issue causing our fireplace to not work and in the same day, was able to fix it (additional parts/labor extra beyond the deal that was purchased). He also fixed our flue's positioning. We are very happy that our gas fireplace will be back in service for the upcoming season. The only issue was that he was running behind schedule (he was supposed to come in the late afternoon but it ended up being early evening by the time he got there). Nonetheless, we are happy that rather than having the appt rescheduled at the last minute (as what sometimes happens when they are behind schedule), he stayed late to get the job done.

He was punctual and courteous. He used the shop vac. to vacuum the fireplace.

Went through an Amazon local deal for a chimney cleaning. The deal was $29. I should have known that this would be a sham given the price. First off the fine print was for a 10 foot chimney, every foot after that is another $5. So it ended up being another $75 out of pocket when they got here. When we asked that he not put the vacuum hose thing through a window and instead went through the door he got a bit of an attitude. Kept asking to do work on other things like dryer, furnace, ducts. We just wanted the chimney cleaned and inspected. Once the work was done, which I hope was done well there was no summary of how it went, whether it was really dirty or fairly clean, whether it was in good shape or needed legitimate work. Won't use again.

Both went well. The tech came and performed the service and a second tech was scheduled to come back to check the problem. We had to schedule it for 2 weeks later as we were going on vacation however once they came the tech worked diligently on resolving the issue. They were kind enough to have not charged us for the 2nd visit .
