Forever Fence

My fiancee and I were considering adding a fence to the backyard. We dealt with Emilio who was very responsive and extremely helpful in terms of giving us advice for planning for the fence. The price we were quoted was competitive and we felt very comfortable with Forever Fence. In the end, we actually decided to postpone installing the fence due to some unforeseen issues. However, we'll definitely be considering this company when we do go ahead with it. Overall we thought they were very professional.

Got a fair price and am using Forever Fence for the second time! These guys do it right! They show up, know what to do and get the job done. This was a repair from the hurricane and they replaced 3 full panels quickly. They cleaned up everything and left the yard in better shape than before. If you live next to a neighbor like I do they are also respectful of the neighbors property line. Oh yeah and the work is solid as well. Will use in the future if I have a need for sure.

Forever Fence installed our new maintenance free fence in May 2012. We were thrilled with the service and quality of the work and product. In the fall, we had storm damage from Sandy; Emilio promptly sent us an estimate for repairs and answered questions from our claims adjustor. Not only was the repair prompt and efficient, Emilio's time with the claims adjustor ensured we received full reimbursement. In January, we noticed some additional damage to a small section of fence--Emilio and team promptly repaired. We highly recommend Forever Fence.

Emilio from Forever Fence came over the day after we moved into our home, on time. He gave me an estimate and I gave him a 1/3 deposit. The fence and gates look great. Because we had lots of landscaping and hard-scaping to do, Emilio offered a fellow contractor to us to complete the landscaping and paving, Vetter Landscaping. Keith Vetter is still in the process of completing the work, but the work done so far is excellent. Both men are professional, courteous , very informative, and are just really nice. They worked as a team to get to get the backyard completed in a timely fashion. In fact, I will be hiring Keith Vetter in the spring to complete landscaping. I would recommend both men to anyone.

emilio and his crew are great! I got quotes from two other companies, one higher and one lower. Overall Emilio did the best. he showed up, did his report then emailed me the quote. We decided to go with his company. The crew showed up on time, and got stuck in some massive rain, and had to come back the next day, however they worked really hard and this didn't affect the price one penny. The crew finished the install, cleaned up everything and so far, no issue. If you are looking for a good job, with someone who is super responsive (email, calls your right back) and you are a reasonable person (they can't control the weather) then this company is for you.

Since we thought his price was too high we decided to tackle the project on our own. We researched out fence material suppliers and found a great source. Just as we were about to purchase the material, we got a call from Emilio, the owner. He said it was end of the month, business was slow and he would like to revisit our project again. I explained on the phone that we were really thinking of doing it ourselves but we agreed to meet Emilio again at his request. While discussing his quote, Emilio told us that 2/3rd of the quote was actually materials and although he typically does not like clients getting their own, in this case he would be willing to supply the labor if we could get materials at a better price elsewhere. At that point, we told him about the supplier we had found who was considerably cheaper than Emilio's materials. We gave him the website and contact information since he expressed interest in checking the material out. He left with the understanding that he would supply the labor at the same rate while we bought our own materials. Several days passed with no communication from Emilio. Finally after several follow ups again he came back with a labor quote that was much higher than before. Per his original quote his labor was around $1870. His new labor quote umped to $3000 for the exact same fence job. We feel that Emilio completely misled us. He was interested in our project when his business was slow and the moment it picked up, he decided this was not worth his time. Not happy at all! And by the way we indeed completed the project on our own in 2 1/2 weekends.

We have a very large yard and needed an old wooden fence taken down and disposed of as well as needing to replace it. Emilio promptly responded to our request for an estimate. We scheduled a date and he arrived on time and we had an estimate within 2 days. He provided us with options and explained the cost/benefit of each option. We chose to purchase a maintenance free fence. Again, Emilio promptly sent us the contract and within a few weeks the materials arrived and we had an installation date. Due the unrelenting rain, work was delayed for several days (understandably). Emilio kept us informed through out the process. Materials were delivered to our house on Thur 5/24. On Friday, 5/25 work began and the crew stayed till 7 pm. They worked again on Saturday 5/26, Monday 5/28 (Memorial Day) and Tuesday 5/29. We were very impressed that the crew would work on the holiday weekend and even more impressed that Emilio asked our permission to have the crew there on the holiday. The crew was very professional and very skilled. They did a great job installing the fence and cleaning up after themselves. There was no damage to our property or landscaping. There was a slight delay with the arrival of the gate, but on Saturday 6/2 the crew installed it (and so quietly we didn't even know they were there). We have been totally impressed with Forever Fence-professional, timely communication and follow through, no hidden costs or surprises. We highly recommend them.

Emilio showed up promptly. He gave me a good rundown of my options and brought a bunch of samples of different materials and styles. The pricing was also competitive with other bids I got. The work was done quickly and professionally. There was a slight delay in finishing the job that was outside of their control. They really went to enormous efforts to finish the job despite the obstacles. There was a small issue after the job was done. One of the gates was sagging and just needed another hinge. The responded in a few days and fixed it with no questions asked. Very professional.

They called and made appt promptly came back to talk to husband. Work done on time and were extremely neat. Would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful fencing job! Was willing to meet competitors price.

We met with Emilio and received a prompt reply and estimate. Based on the reviews and his responsiveness we decided to go with his company. Prior to the installation we met several times to go over expectations and the details of the layout to make sure we were all on the same page. In discussing the timing Emilio explained that the installation would take approximately two weeks from the time they started to completion. By the time everything was finished it was nearly 4 months. After the material was delivered, Emilio met the installer to review the job, but didn't come around to review the work that was being completed. The installer came to do the installation of our fence at the end of each day. He clearly was not an employee of Forever Fence and appeared to be a subcontractor. Since he was coming at the end of the day, the time he could spend on our job was limited so progress was slow. The quality of the installation was fair, certainly not in line with the cost of a high end aluminum fence nor the level of finish we expected and explained to Emilio at the very start of the project. We were very clear about the details of the installation including the style and swing of the walk-through gates and the zoning restrictions of the town. When the gates were installed they were installed in the wrong locations and had to be removed and moved to the proper locations. This caused the installer to drill new holes in the gate posts and the gates requiring the aluminum to be repaired. The repairs are decent but still noticeable and were unnecessary. A number of repairs to fence sections were necessary due to a poor job by the installer. The driveway gate was finally delivered and exceeded the maximum allowable height which had been clearly communicated to Emilio. On Emilio's recommendation we left the driveway gates in place and called for an inspection. Not surprisingly the project failed due to the height of the driveway gates which had to be removed, cut, and reinstalled, a process that took an additional two weeks and required us to keep an orange snow fence across the driveway to keep our dog in the yard. Although we accepted the driveway gates being cut to meet the zoning requirements, this was not what we believed would have been the fair resolution. The driveway gates should have been reconstructed based on the correct dimensions so the curves and height changes were correctly proportioned. We accepted the cut gates because Emilio was unwilling to re-fabricate correct new gates and would not provide a reasonable credit for us to have our own gates made. After performing our own detailed review of the installation we provided Emilio with a punch list. A different installer showed up at our house to complete the project. He explained that he was just brought on board to do trouble shooting, but probably should have been the crew to do the initial installation. Overall, the process took way too long and required far too much of our scrutiny and pushing to ensure it was done well. In order to prevent this review from being driven by the frustration felt immediately following the project, I purposely waited several months before writing it.

I called Emilio on Monday and by Friday the job was done at the price we agreed on. I even made some changes along the way that they were able to accommodate. Overall they did and great job and were very professional and pleasant to deal with

Terrific experience from start to finish - they did what they said they were going to do and they did it when they said they would do it. I wish all companies worked like this. The new fence looks great and Emilio was a joy to work with. Thanks to Angie's List and all the reviewers for leading me to work them!!

Emilio came out and gave me an estimate to replace my existing fence which was destroyed by storm damage. After giving me the estimate he asked that I have the yard cleared of some debris and bushes to allow his crew to work easily. After getting that done, I called Emilio and let him know we were ready. He had has crew come out the next day. They showed up on time and completed the project in 1 day, as promised. Emilio checked in with me throughout the day, both by phone and in person, just to see how things were going and to check on his crew. The workers were competent and cleaned up after themselves. I was satisfied with the quality of the work, as everything was done as promised. P.S. Emilio was excellent with getting all insurance paper work completed for me. It seemed like I had something new for him to fill out every week and he was cooperative and got all the paper work to me in a timely manner.

I had been shopping around to get a fence installed for some time. I decided to use Angie's List based on several recommendations, and I came across this company and the feedback from other customers was favorable. Unfortunately, my first outreach was shortly after Hurricane Irene, and I had almost decided to give up when Emilio called that he would come by to provide an estimate. We decided to go with Emilio a couple of days later after this meeting. The price was reasonable and he ensured that the project would be executed by our desired timeframe. The whole process took one month from start to finish (contract, permit, install and gate install). Aside from the initial hiccup, which was understandable, responsivess and follow through were excellent. He ensured we got what we wanted, took in to consideration our small dog and that none of our belgium blocks were destroyed.Emilio's team is very pleasant. They completed the install in 2 days. I needed to wait an extra week for the gates, but I knew that from the beginning. They came across some issues underground, and they kept me posted so that we can work the matter at hand. If you have the opportunity to use this company, one of the workers, Dario, is great!!Although not a requirement, I gave them a small tip to express my personal gratitude for the hard work (considering there were some issues underground), and I appreciated their continued tenacity to get the job done.

I got them through Angie's List and they had a coupon. I spent $300 or $400. Everything was fine and there was no problem in terms of showing up when they did. They did everything that I asked them to do without any problems. They finished rather quickly, a little bit sooner than what I even expected. The fence has been up without any problem. Their workmanship was fine and their price was a little bit higher than what I was hoping for but I got my money’s worth. I will be using them again in the future for the other work that I need to get done with the other part of my fence. I am planning to have it done in a month and a half or so and ask them to do some additional work for me.

Called Forever Fence, could not be happier. Day of the call I was able to email them pictures of the current gate, from those they were able to determine what we needed. They came out, put the new gate up quickly, cleaned up the mess and put the safety lock and spring on to bring it up to code. Very responsive and professional. Would definately recommend them to others and use them myself again

They delievered the panels to our fence promptly a few days after we called. Emilio was very responsive and happy to accomodate us.

Forever Fence provided exceptional service! I met with Emilio once for the initial estimate and again to finalize details. The material came in and the installation was set up for that week. Fast, prompt and professional! Would definitely recommend using this company.
