Forever Fence

Words I would use to describe Forever Fence: elusive, inferior, shoddy, unprofessional, unaccountable, unreachable, flawed. If you think this review is rushed, you should see their final product. Sadly yet another company conducting business in quantity, not quality. Hire at your own risk.

Putting up the fence was fine, with a few exceptions where pieces popped off and several poles were loose due to not enough concrete poured. They came back once to fix the loose pieces. When it happened again and one of the gates wouldn't close properly, Emilio said he had his men on my block and would have them take a look at it and to send pictures. I sent him the pictures, his men still haven't stopped by and he doesn't respond to my calls or e-mails asking when he will fix my fence that was just put in this past April. He even said that he wanted to charge me $250 to fix the gate because he can't control settling. It didn't settle. It wasn't done right the first time! There is now a carving in my new fence where the latch has dug into the fence. I would not recommend any company that doesn't stand behind their product like this company. And to think I chose them because the owner is a veteran and I'm pro military.

Emilio is the best! Not only does the fence look AMAZING (my wife and I love hearing the compliments from the neighbors) but Emilio was with us every step of the way making sure we were satisfied. Highly recommend!

Do not use this company if you love your pups! The system was faulty from day one. It wasnt until one of my 3 dogs was "correctrd" for at least 20 seconds IN MY HOUSE! she was yelping and crying it took me a minute to figure out what was wrong..Her collar went off for no reason and continued to correct her until I could get my hand between her and the collar (then I was being corrected) until I finally got it off of her. Then the collar continued for another 15 to 20 seconds after removed. This was a concern of mine and I was reassured while handing over the $3000 cash that this would never happen with their system. They are holding me hostage now, refusing to give me my money back after only having the faulty system about 2 months. The owner says "he has to have a year to correct the issues" well I am never putting those collars on my dogs again. So I will continue to review this company and warn all you dog owners to not use this company if you love your dogs.

I made the HUGE MISTAKE of paying them upfront - as soon as I signed the contract which said included training he then said it did not...I should have taken my check back then. The fence was due to be installed the next week. I heard from them five days later (I was away) with a muffled message about pictures - when I called him back he was screaming at me about emails and needing "pictures" and about the job being far more complicated then expected and what I needed to do so he could install it - I told him I was away and could not take pictures - he continued to yell at me that it was not much to expect to have me take pictures - meanwhile he was due to install the fence asap and was busy telling me that he could not as it was too complicated and he could not even work on it as he forgot to take pictures and I was "refusing" to - I was away and he refused to come take them. He is illogical, incoherent, and irrational - took the money and ran. He kept ranting about emails too - confusing me with another customer. I am unable to get my money back at this time(I am working on it - but he told me NO WAY) and he is unwilling to get further information about the property or install the fence - DO NOT EVER GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY!!!!

Emilio & Dottie are great to work with. From the estimate to any questions we had, they were prompt & professional. We were told right from the beginning that it would be about 2 months before the fence could be installed & it was scheduled & done in about 6.5 weeks. There was a small hiccup when they came to install. A lilac bush was in the way. Instead of digging it out & replanting, they started the fence in a different spot which resulted in a few extra panels that we had to pay for but not a big deal. We are very happy with our fence & so is our dog :-)

We contracted at a set price but then there were additional charges for excavation, extra section of fence, extra post. Why the extra costs? The salesperson came out to look and measure and we gave them a set of drawings. We filed a complaint with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs and did not have to pay for the "extra" work. The fence is now leaning 8" out of plumb and is ready to fall over. Looks like we will be filing another claim. See our previous review dated 10/03/2014. We strongly recommend you do not use Forever Fence. The only thing forever is the headache.

At first, he was nice, would go out of his way to meet with us, adjust his price just to make the sale. When the guys came to install the fence, they didn't speak English, but I was assured they knew what they were doing and would need to be home, just in case. We were told the job would be done within 3 days. 5-6 days, numerous phone calls and texts messages later we saw how much of an arrogant, hypocritical, condescending, rude and inconsiderate person the owner really is. His guys did great work, but as much as a good deal this guy will give you, I would pay extra to NOT deal with his attitude. Needless to say, he prides himself on customer service. His customer service is horrible and just wants your money. He expected me to look and inspect my fence at 10pm at night or he would call the police if i didn't give him his last check. Good luck if you're using this contractor.

I wanted to share the experience we had with Forever Fence. We worked with Emilio to figure out the style of fence we wanted and he was incredibly patient with our questions and we never felt rushed. The installers worked quickly and left the yard in immaculate shape. The finished product was better than we could have imagined! I highly recommend Forever Fence!!!

The job went well. Install took a couple of days since we added more patio space after ordering our fence. The fence looks really good and we are very happy.

Emilio and team were a pleasure to work with. Prompt, professional, and detail-oriented. The installation crew did a great job. They arrived early, worked hard, and did a great job installing the fence. They also did a great job with the cleanup following the installation, which is always appreciated. The only thing to bear in mind is that it will be up to the customer to procure from the municipality any permits that may be required, but that process was pretty painless and Emilio was always available if I had any questions about filling out the permit form.

I was very happy with the installation. If I had any problems I would contact Kara, the wonderful lady that came out to give me my estimate....she took care of any problems that came up during the installation, and any problems I had with faulty solar lights. She would reply to my emails or calls immediately. I started having problems with my 4' gate on the West fence in my backyard. At first I noticed the gate was out of alignment and that the posts must have moved. I contacted Kara, and she said that there probably was a minor adjustment to be made....I looked at the hinges and made a small adjustment and the gate opened and closed perfectly again, but I still saw that the gate was not "true", a level showed that for the fence to close without binding at the latch, it had to be off-center. The South post had definitely moved, it wasn't set properly. About a month ago, I sent Kara an email, and I was surprised that I didn't get an immediate response. I emailed her again, and still received no response, so I called her on the phone number I had, she answered and told me she no longer worked for ForeverFence....she didn't go into details, but I could only assume that there must have been an issue with the owner. I told her the gate was not level and it was not closing at all. She gave me the owners name and phone number, but she said that I would probably NOT .hear back from Amillio. His voicemail message stated that he would get back to me within 24 hours, that was 3 days ago. I have tried to contact him since that, but still no response. I spent close to $5000.00 on this installation. I can't believe they don't follow up on their product.

Emilio and team did a great job installing our red cedar board on board fence. The thing that stands out most (and the reason I am writing this review) is Emilio's customer service. We had a few fence panels that were loose, and the gate needed some adjustments after the installation. Emilio sent his guys out right away to correct the issue. I called Emilio almost 1 year after installation to let him know the gate needed another adjustment and within a week, his team was there to correct the issue. I really appreciate a company that stands behind their work.

Had some scheduling issues but that can happen.

Overall, our experience was excellent. Emilio came out a few times to go over the order. On the day of install, the contractors had the wrong fence panels. They were able to install the posts that day. Emilio immediately came over to apologize and ensure he would get the right posts. The post came a few days later and the job was complete. Fence looks great!

They originally came out, surveyed our property, and gave us a proposal of $3276 to complete the job. That is the price we agreed to. Before the job was completed, they tried to charge us $200 extra for excavating and $220 for an extra section of fencing. They then offered to take $100 off the final cost if we left a good review for them on Angie's List. They are dishonest and unprofessional. I would not recommend them.

I had 2 other fence companies come out to give us estimates. I found Emilio to be professional and not a salesmen. He had a young lady with him who was his assistant who was also professional. The work was done quick, neat and looks beautiful. The cost was very fair and I will always recommend Forever Fence and Emilio to everyone who asks me for a fence company. We had a problem with the gate and within 1 day it was fixed with no hassle. I am so confident that should I ever have a problem, Emilio and his team will respond quickly. As their crew did a bang-up job. They dug out the old broken wood fence and installed a very nice vinyl fence, completely changing the look of that side of our property. They also removed our ugly old chain link driveway gates and posts. We put in new posts for a new gate (to be installed later). They hauled off all the old material and cleaned up. We really like the new look. Occasionally, they are a bit difficult to reach, but eventually they will get back to you.

We wanted to build a fence to enclose our large backyard and give us a little privacy without breaking the bank. We also had the problem of several large trees obstructing the property lines in several areas. Emilio worked closely with us (and even came back a second time to consult) to ensure that we were maximizing our yard space while working around the trees. On installation day (which was earlier than expected), his installers managed to creatively work the fence through several trees. We are happy with our fence!

They did an exceptional job! From the initial phone call to completion every attention to detail was met. Kara was fantastic! She responded within hours of our initial call in for a quote and managed everything for us. We couldn't have asked for a better company to work with and will look forward to doing future projects with them.

This has to be one of the easiest and most professional contractors I have ever had to work with. We recently renovated our home and installed a new fence. Forever Fence's professionalism was right there at the top with all the different companies we have worked with. Right from the begining, Emilio was responsive and made the process painless. He returned our calls promptly, provided a detailed estimate which was competitive with the others we recieved, and worked with us on the installation process to fit our time frame. He gave us a lot of options and we chose the semi-private style fence. After the job was done, the yard looked incredible and there were no signs that the team was ever there. If you are looking to put in fencing around your property, this is one great company to work with.

We met Emilio and went into contract right after receiving the quote. He was polite and professional and assured us the fence would be installed quickly as the season had just begun. The supplies were delivered to our yard wrapped and protected. Emilio's team arrived and did the job in once day, making sure all was level and perfectly straight. They cleaned up nicely. Emilio communicated well and his team did a great job! The total job consisted of a privacy fence in part of our rear yard, along side our house, as well as a gate. Well done-we are VERY happy with our new fence!!

We were extremely pleased with the entire process. Emilio was very responsive in providing a quote for the job and showing us samples of the fencing (not just picking something from a book). The installation was during the winter, but Emilio scheduled the removal and installation during good weather. Everything was done timely and met our high expectations. We are very pleased with our new fence.

They were the lowest bidder as well. |They installed one enhancement "at cost" and guided me to a second enhancement foe me to do myself.

I purchased a new home and wanted my backyard enclosed to make a safe and secure playground for my dogs. It was my first time buying a fence and Emilio walked me through the entire process of obtaining a permit, the yard specifications, and the many fencing options available. From my first call with Emilio I was very comfortable with him as he was very knowledgeable and we remained in contact throughout the entire process (via text, phone, and email). Most importantly, the pricing at Forever Fence was reasonable and Emilio stayed within my budget. Within one week of our initial meeting my fencing was installed. The staff at Forever Fence was professional and friendly and the fence looks beautiful. I would definitely recommend Forever Fence!
