Response from Thomas GC Group LLC
to take out an old boiler for the house, disposal of the boiler and to install a new with all related pipe work. this cost also included removing the toilet, install new wax ring and repair drywall, prime and paint. Our cost was reasonable and below market price of $2400. the issue he had was why we are charging a different rate between the boiler work and drywall work. simple these require different skill sets. we wish him best of luck with his projects.

Description of Work: Tom responded in a timely manner and gave me a reasonable estimate. He (and his helpers) removed a wet wall, waterproofed it, insulated, put up new drywall and painted. They also did some patchwork on another wall which had water damage. He did a very nice job, and when I noticed a problem after he left, he did come back to fix it at no charge. He did other miscellaneous jobs he recommended such as sealed the windows on the outside, some cement work and outdoor painting/waterproofing. I felt he did a very nice job, was professional, courteous and timely. I did ask him to fix a few windows in my house, which he never responded to, but I know he was expanding his business at the time and very busy. Probably with a little urging I could get him to come back. I would recommend him to a friend and would use him again.

Description of Work: Yes, I called Thomas to replace my Mother's basement windows. I don't remember the exact date or price. But I was very happy with his service. He kept in constant touch with me about ordering, pricing, delivery, and installation. I had called another contractor that wanted almost $100 just to come out and measure the windows! I would definitely recommend Thomas.

Description of Work: I called them late in the day on Dec. 8 re retractable attic stairs that were stuck in the open position. (I spoke to the owner, Thomas.) By 9 o'clock the next morning they sent two very polite, punctual and competent workers who solved the problem. We were very happy with their services (and reasonable rate) and would use them again.

All jobs were performed very well, the price was great and they were very easy to get along with.
Description of Work: Painting and painting prep was extensive and excellent. Repair outdoor shingles and painting and replacement of doors in addition, minor household repairs.

I would give that guy my highest recommendation. He is on time, and is conscious and does the work by the time he estimates.

The project went very well. They worked on two Saturdays which was great for me so I didn't need to take time off from work. They arrived on time or early both days. Thomas asked good questions up front as well as necessary during the project. They stayed on task the complete time. Thomas supplied an estimate up front which was very close to finished cost. He also supplied me with receipts for all the materials and left all left over materials with me. I definitely plan on using Thomas again.
Description of Work: I had my side entry drywalled. Was a two day process. I did the demo in order to cut the cost of the project (this was a suggested by Thomas that I really appreciated) and then Thomas and team came in to drywall. Lots of cuts as the underside of a staircase was involved. He also upgraded an electrical box for me and replaced the overhead light fixture.

Thomas gave me a reasonable budget, he arrived on time, and completed the project as specified. He is extremely professional, friendly, clean, and he doesn't have "budget creep" like so many other contractors. He brings his projects in on budget.
Description of Work: Thomas installed a ductless air conditioner for me, and moved an existing unit to another room. He has done many other projects for me, and I thought he deserved a glowing review for his performance.
