Great job! I have had Willy's Chimney come to clean out the dryer vents twice now - December of 2010 and June of 2011 -- and it's coming up on time to schedule again (which is what reminded me to write this review!). Willy's Chimney arrives when they say they will and does a great job, explaining how often they should be coming and how you'd know if you needed the vents cleaned any earlier. I am not sure how many people work for the company, but I've had the good luck to have Dan come out each time, and he's a pro. (He also asks me why I have the vents cleaned annually, which is a bit more frequently than you generally need, and I like that he's very appreciative of my business but isn't pushing me to do work he doesn't think I need.) Dan is the kind of contractor you'd be comfortable leaving alone in your house while you walked the dog or ran an errand.Willy's Chimney moved the dryer away from the wall, vacuumed out the lint traps in the front and the venting in the rear of the dryer, and used a high-pressure blower to clean out the vent itself, which runs into the floor at a 90 degree angle from the dryer, down a couple inches, and then makes another 90 degree angle to run underneath the floor and about 8-10 feet out to the side of the house. So it's not the easiest vent to clean out, but they do a great job - as soon as they start running the high-pressure air through the vent, it looks like it's snowing from the side of the house! It takes about half an hour to do the whole job, and is well worth the cost annually for my peace of mind. (Dryer lint starts a lot of house fires, and as noted, my vent configuration traps a lot of it.) I will continue to use Willy's Chimney for as long as they're in business.
