Perfect - excellent work - kept surrounding area clean - Dan was very warm friendly personality - and explained what he was doing while completing the job - also offered info and tips. Also - the first person you encounter when hiring any worker is the receptionist - cannot say enough about her warm friendly demeanor - you could clearly hear the smile in her voice! (much better than ALL the others I called) So pleased with this company that I asked for multiple business cards so I could hand them out! Do not be fooled by those ads for $29.00 - that guy showed up two hours late then said he would send someone else back later???

after being 1.5 hours late i called and was informed they would be able to come til sunday at 2pm. Fine. At 2 they called to say they would be there at 3. They showed up at 4. Work was completed as expected.

Wily's sent two professionals to replace our rusted Chimney Chase cover with a stainless steel one. They ordered the part and showed up when they were supposed to and were courteous and professional. The workmanship was excellent and we were happy with the finished results. I would highly recommend Wily's.

I reached out several companies and Wily's was one of the first to respond. They showed up at the scheduled time. They sent two employee's that came to inspect and sweep the chimney. They were professional, courteous and clean. I felt they were honest in the evaluation and did not try to up sell. They pointed out one minor issue but stated that it did not need to be repaired at this point but pointed out it could need fixing a few years down the road depending on usage. They showed us some footage of the inspection.

They not only met expectations, they exceeded them.

Dan presented the options to me and left the decision totally up to me. I decided to go with a stainless steel pre-insulated liner so I could burn wood this winter. Dan and his crew were friendly, knowledgeable, pleasant, professional, and respectful of my property. I had tons of questions and Dan answered each one without trying to put me off. I trusted Dan and he did exactly what he said he would do. He was deliberate and always concerned to provide the highest quality solution to my problem. He will not cut corners. He worked neatly and cleanly. I am very happy with work that was done and look forward to using my wood burning fireplace this winter. Dan came back to waterproof my chimney at my request because of water penetration into my interior wall. I highly recommend Dan/Willy's Chimney Services and will be using him in the future for follow up inspections

The guy never showed up for pricing appointment. I waited here for hours. Didn't have the common courtesy to call either. When I called to find out if there was a problem, no one returned my call. Bad manners. Very unprofessional.

Excellent service. Got an appointment quickly. They showed up on time. Job was done quickly and neatly and I will recommend them toy clients when needed.

Wonderful!!!! We had some weather delays but Dan was in constant communication with us. We were able to work together and really got what we wanted. We are also going to remain with this company for chimney service. It was expensive but very well worth the cost -we are extremely satisfied.

Willy's Chimney Service was second to none! After we had a chimney fire, Dan (the owner) came out to inspect. He was thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and explained each step in the process. We contracted them to do the work. I have never experienced a company so intent on excellence. The people who worked on our chimney was hardworking, trustworthy, courteous, and detailed oriented. Dan and his crew did beautiful work. We can't wait to burn our first fire this fall! We would HIGHLY recommend Dan!

I initially called Dan to do an inspection of the fireplace and chimney on a house in Lacey that I inherited. The inspection revealed that the metal firebox was rusted through and if I had used the fireplace I could potentially have had a fire in the walls above the fireplace. Dan cut out the old metal firebox and built a new firebox with fire bricks. He also installed a stainless steel chimney liner and flue cap. Dan did an outstanding job bringing the fireplace back to life. Before beginning the work he built an enclosure around the fireplace to minimize any mess in the house from the demolition of the old firebox. We have enjoyed many roaring fires in the refurbished fireplace.

, Dan was very professional. He took photos, and explained everything in detail before commencing the job, so there were no surprises. His price was also very reasonable in comparison to other estimates I received. Dan finished the job quickly and with photos, explained exactly what he did, using high quality materials. He is very trustworthy and I would definitely use him again.

I've used them before twice before and they were OK. This time they said they no longer do cleanings in my whole condo development.

Dan took before and after pictures; he was very clear, informative and professional. We thought we might need the chimney repointed but Dan said it wasn't necessary at this time; he did not try to sell services that were not needed. He offered us a clear estimate of proposed services with cost options. It took awhile to get the work scheduled but that was partly down to the weather. I would definitely use Willy's Chimney Service again, when the time comes to do major work on the chimney.

Due to age and construction of original chimney, we had a fire which came through the fire box into the walls. The fire department took care of this but damage was so extensive that the entire fireplace and chimney had to be replaced. Willy's made every effort to protect our property during the removal of the old chimney and fireplace and the construction of the new chimney and fireplace and insert. Every step of the job was explained to us by Dan. All of the employees were thoughtful, courteous and careful with our property. They cleaned up after themselves every day. Also, in order to not inconvenience us there was a port a potty installed outside for their use. Their expertise shows in how great the fireplace, chimney and insert look and we have received many compliments on the work already. We would like to highly recommend Willy's to anyone considering a new fireplace or repair of an existing one. We plan on using him yearly to clean our new chimney.

As far as I know it went very well--However I am not able or willing to go to the top of the chimney to inspect the work. My impression is that his work is very thorough and he is very professional.

I contain Angie's list service specifically to replace my wood burning stove chimney and my HVAC roof stacks. He was the only person given to me and he claimed his geographic cut off was the next town north of mine. So this was a joke! I seriously doubt whether he could actually do more than chimney sweep anyway as he did not appear to have the appropriate endorsements to do this sort of replacement.

We did not use Willy's Chimney Service, LLC. He was not the most reasonable and he wanted to do more work. He wanted to do some expensive things on the roof, there were cracks up there. I went with a different company. I didn't need what he was proposing.

I learned I needed new chimneys when a rain storm resulted in water dripping through my guest room ceiling - the high winds were blowing the rain straight through the crumbling brick mortar, and it was coming into the attic, running along a beam, and then falling into the guest room. I called Willy's Chimney, and Dan came out right away and gave me an estimate to replace both chimneys, since the other one was in equally bad shape but the damage to the plaster wall was inside a closet so I hadn't seen it. (I still wonder if the chimneys were original to the house - they were truly in terrible shape.) I accepted the estimate, and Dan set a start date for a couple of months down the road since he was booked up prior to then. The only small disappointment I had was that the start date got pushed back twice, but once underway, the job was done quickly, neatly, and with minimal disruption to my yard. Dan had to build the chimneys higher than they had originally been to meet code, and also put on new caps, flashing, etc. - everything you'd want in a new chimney. Note that my house has very high, very steep roofs, and I think that made the price a bit higher than usual, also, since it took a bit longer for safety reasons. The finished work looks amazing, and it's been up a couple of years now with no more water issues! Dan also does a fantastic job cleaning out dryer vents. My washer/dryer is on the second floor and has an odd vent path (straight down into the floor, right angle toward the outside wall, and about 10 feet of vent before opening). I call him once every 18 months or so to come clean it all out, as I am concerned about fires and uncleaned dryer vents are a hazard. Dan always shows up on time, does a measurement of the dryer's throughput capacity before and after the cleaning, and makes a recommendation regarding how much time before he needs to come again. He is very professional, and I have recommended him for both chimney work and dryer vent cleaning to several friends.
