Mr. Farley was hired to replace my septic system due to new state requirements. Although hampered repeatedly by poor weather, Mr. Farley completed the work in a timely and highly professional manner. He answered my many questions regarding the actual work, as well as the complicated regulatory process associated with the project. His ability to manage suppliers and unusual conditions at the work site, and successfully interact with municipal inspectors to ensure a successful project completion is highly commendable. Our total septic replacement happened during the height of the pandemic. The owner, Bill, kept us well informed and up to date with the progress even while many town offices were closed. This was a huge project with many working parts. Bill was timely and scheduled all the inspections and other components accordingly, which enabled the quickest turn around for our project. Bill and his crew were exceptional. Honest, trustworthy, efficient. Highly recommended.

We purchased our home less than a year ago and began having problems with our septic, that was installed at the time of our closing, less than a year old! We reached out to the person who did the work and received no call back. I reached out to Bill Farley and explained the situation. He was here in 3 hours! He was able to asses the situation and explain to me what needed to be done to fix it. He was professional, knowledgeable and kind. Bill was thorough and thoughtful in replacing our septic system. He worked with the Engineers and our township seamlessly despite closures due to Covid19 and despite us living out of state. I highly recommend his company!

We thought water was getting into our septic system and contacted two contractors who never returned our calls. We then signed up with Home Advisor. Within half an hour, Bill Farley contacted us and set a date. We found him to be extremely personable. After looking at our engineering drawings, Bill thought the water could be coming from our field. After inserting a rod into the ground and digging a hole around the rod, he gave us the news. There was nothing wrong with our drainage field! I know an unscrupulous contractor could have told us we need a whole new system. In addition, he did not charge us! We are very grateful that we were able to meet such a fine and honest person.

Bill was great from the get go, he came right over and gave us solid professional advice on what we would need to do and how to go about it. Once it was determined that we would need to replace the septic tank which was an old metal tank that not only had not been used for more than 25 years, it was on the verge of completely failing. Bill took care of everything with the county board of health and the township who required a larger tank than the county. Our install turned to be a lot more work than he originally bargained for. He did not anticipate the amount of buried rock (large- boulders) in the area needed to enlarge a hole for the new 1500 gallon tank. He ultimately hauled out 5 loads of rock (boulders) and had to bring in several loads of crushed cement for fill to replace the boulders and to fill in and around the new tank, level up under and around the new lateral line to seepage pit. Bill was a total professional from start to finish, even with the set back caused by all of the stone, he was able to get right into the project and get the installation completed, since it did not require any new engineering or an expanded field he was able to get the inspection done right away which allowed us to keep the house on the market, and hopefully a new owner will be able to utilize the new system and enjoy the home for many years to come. Bill Farley was a pleasure to deal with. He and his assistant were professional, friendly, and experienced. They ran into an issue that hadn't been included in the inspection report and dealt with it quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this company.

I hired Bill Farley to construct a new septic seepage field and upgrade my current septic tank. The job also required cutting down and removing a forest from the site and demolishing and removing a large storage shed. He was knowledgable, competent, honest and did a good job in spite of complications. Thinking about it afterward, it was not only having the job done right, but having someone you could trust and knowing that he job would be done right and not having to worry or check up. My only critisism would be that he is not up-to-date with electronic communication. But then neither am I.

Awesome honest man. Explains everything from beginning to end of job

I contacted Bill Farley yesterday after reading his many positive reviews on HomeAdvisor. I had never called a HomeAdvisor contractor before and was unsure of the response I would receive. I was pleasantly surprised when he answered the phone and listened to my situation. Understanding the urgency of my request, he altered his schedule and met me at a house I am in the process of buying -- within 40 minutes of my phone call. Yes, 40 minutes. I was amazed. Bill inspected the issue and addressed my concerns. He gave me his honest assessment and was extremely professional, knowledgable and straightforward. The fact that he responded immediately, altered his schedule and inspected a potentially negative septic issue for me so quickly was incredible. As I went to get my checkbook to pay him, Bill said something that many of us rarely ever hear: "No charge." No charge? I couldn't believe what I had heard. I had expected a higher bill due to my urgent request, but instead, Bill did not charge me at all. I would highly recommend Bill Farley without reservation. Not only is he an experienced, qualified professional, but he is a true person of character.

Completed a complex job at an older home which we were trying to sell. Very knowledgeable in terms of what was required and that all needed to be done in order to comply with necessary state regulations. Improvements could be made by creating an itemized estimate up-front, updating methods of communication, utilizing text and email for correspondence and billing.

We had a wonderful experience dealing with Bill Farley. He was referred to us by Weichert Realty and my husband and I are so happy we decided to hire him. We live in an older home and there were numerous complications that had to be overcome in having our old septic replaced with a new system. Our house is 75 years old and had the original septic system. Bill’s extensive knowledge and many years of experience installing septic systems made it possible to successfully resolve the issues we were facing. We fully trusted him to do what was in our best interests. He is very professional, easy to communicate with and responds quickly if you have questions and need to reach him. He explains what is being done in a way that is easy to understand, always taking time to answer our questions thoroughly. His men always showed up on time and worked hard. He took precautions to protect our newly paved driveway from the weight of the trucks that were driving over it to bring in gravel. The weather conditions during our installation were poor as it rained frequently throughout the installation. To make up for weather related delays his men worked on weekends; something you rarely see in a contractor and for which we were very grateful. Over the years we have dealt with contractors who don’t show up when they are scheduled to which causes frustration. I never had to worry about that with Bill and his men. They showed up reliably every day that the weather permitted and we never had to worry about if they were going to show up or not. Bill far exceeded our expectations and it was truly a pleasure working with him. We would strongly recommend him and would be happy to provide referrals if you are looking to use his services. They are very personable and knowledgeable. I wouldn't recommend shopping around for a lower price as they are well educated and skilled in their craft. They get the job done the first time around...would definitely recommend this company.
