Description of Work: They clear brush in the back of my yard and spread topsoil. They did s great job, showed up when they said they would and the price was right. I plan on using them again in the spring for some other landscaping projects.

Description of Work: They came right on time at 8 am. We walked around the property and he started the work immediately after walking. He cleaned up the small area and then disappeared. I went inside around 9:30 to eat breakfast and came back out around 9:45 and the worker was gone. I called the owner 4 times. The times were 11:00, 11:45, 1:30, 2:15. I left him a message to call me back within 30 minutes. I explained to him that his equipment was still here and I was responsible for it. He showed up at my house around 4 to pick up him equipment. I spoke with the owner about what happened. The owner of the company told me to contact Angie's List and ask for a refund. The owner and I agreed on a new amount to pay for the 90 minutes of work performed. The owner was very nice and very responsible.

Description of Work: The owner and one worker did an entire clean up. Front and back yards. Complete weeding and leaf removal. Amazing work. I will be using them again for my fall clean up and possible mulching later this summer. Highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Weeds were pulled from the beds in the front of the house. A circle was cut around the spruce tree. The walk was cleared of weeds. Bushes in the front of the house and in the backyard were trimmed beautifully. In the backyard they cut tree branches down that were hanging over the fence. They removed foliage growing through the fence. They pruned the bushes in the backyard. They weeded between the rocks around the above-ground pool and cut out an area that had not been completed before for rocks to be placed. They weeded in every spot imaginable. They did an absolutely wonderful job. I will use them again and recommend them to all my friends. They cleaned up the mess everywhere. They did not leave anything around. That was a very nice touch.

Description of Work: Spring clean-up, re-mulched, installed new river rock, changed shape of rock bed and relocated azalea bushes.

Description of Work: Green Star installed fresh topsoil, re-seeded, and fertilized my front lawn. They installed mulch in other areas. They brought in decorative shore-gravel that we wanted and placed it around our pool area. They installed plants - rhododendrons and azaleas where we wanted them. The property looks great.

Description of Work: The are my regular services provider for lawn services, but will on an ad hoc basis perform other funcitons like weeding, mulching the flower beds, etc. Recently provided and applied soil to severl holes left in my yard due to tree removal after having moved the stump grindings to the bottom of my yard. I will be getting them to create a new flower bed and do some plant and tree planting in the spring.

Description of Work: I have ongoing lawn care service with this company, from early spring until late fall. They do a Spring and Fall clean to ensure yard is ready for the next season, leaf removal during the fall and gutter cleaning about twice a year. Recently they are also weeding my small flower bed.
