Perfect. Luis is professional and courteous. We never spoke as we did everything though email. He did the work on the day he said, he always stayed in contact, he recommended how to make thing better. I could not be happier with his service for the last 4 years.

This is the 3rd seaon this company working on my proprerty and I am happy with their service.

I've reviewed Green Star previously and give them an excellent rating. At that time I only used them for landscaping work. In the mean time the lawn care provider I had used for years left the state. At that point I engaged Green Star to take over the routine lawn care work along with continued landscaping work. The lawn care work includes grass cutting, edging and cleaning up grass clippings and, in the fall, clearing leaves off the lawn. In addition, they do a spring cleanup. Green Star continues to do landscaping work for me including the topping off of mulch around the yard, trimming some hedges around the yard and patching up the occasional bare spots in the lawn. As I said in my past review, their work is excellent. All lawn car companies cut grass, edge and clean up. However, the quality of the work that Green Star provides is outstanding. The edging on some of my neighbors lawn, done by other vendors sometimes appears to be done with a chain saw. The Green Star crew does neat, crisp edges that look fantastic from the street. Clean up is 100%. Landscaping work continues to exceed my expectations. (I hate that expression because it's overused, but in this case it is accurate.) Finally, let me provide an example of Green Star's commitment to customer satisfaction. Green Star added some top soil and grass seed to a few bare patches in the lawn earlier in the year. The weather was quite unpredictable at that time and due to this, the seed failed to germinate properly. Luis, the Green Star owner noted this and told me hat his work was warrantied and he reseeded it in early fall and it germinated properly and looks great. Luis and his crew at Green Star do excellent work and I can highly recommend them.

called them to do a late spring lawn clean up and a few other things. they came on the same day i called them and cleaned everything up nicely. did i very nice job and some extra that i didnt even ask for.

They did a great job. Actually did the work a couple days early. Beautiful work. Very professional.

They did great work. My only issue was that I tried to hire them for more services and they did not respond to afew attempts via email.

I contracted with Green Star Lawn Care for a two part job. The first part of the job was to deliver and spread several yards of mulch. The work included prepping up the garden beds for mulch, edging, weeding as needed and the installation of four shrubs that I asked him to obtain. I wanted that part of the work to be done ASAP. The second part of the job was to repair and over seed my entire lawn. This was to be done in the fall when the weather cooled. The lawn work included delivering and spreading top soil & seeds and aerating the lawn. And also do an application of Lime. The company did not own an aerator, but they went out a rented one for the job. That kind of service is outstanding! Luis, the owner of Green Star was an excellent person to work with. He responded promptly to my initial request for an estimate, provided helpful suggestions when he first came to my house and maintained prompt communications with me throughout the entire job. He and his crew did an excellent job on both aspects of the job. In the mulching part of the job they cleared and prepped areas that I didn?t even think of doing. The edging was not just straight lines, but beautifully curved borders that added an extra dimension to the property. The grass has started wonderfully and I expect that it will really thicken come next spring. It already looks lush. I can?t say enough about the fine work and excellent attitude of Luis and his crew. They may be a small company, but they are truly a professional organization. And they always went one step further than requested. I highly recommend Green Star Lawn Care

It was okay. They did what I needed. It was nothing out of the way. However every new trees planted are now dead. Not sure why though.

1) Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls. 2) Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders. 3) Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edger's. They offer additional services as follows: Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes. Apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitos, wasps, ticks, and others. Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth. Shovel snow from walkways and sprinkle ice down to keep people from falling. Sweep walkway of debris. Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger. Trim shrubs and pull weeds. Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping. Install lawn furniture. Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed. Install rock, cement, lighting, water, and furniture. Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer.

They also did some major landscaping - removing overgrown shrubs, trimming and mulching. Did a fine job and the price was reasonable. Luis is cordial and professional to deal with. I strongly recommend Green Star for an outside property improvement and maintenance.

Never met anybody - all through e-mail on AngiesList. Did much more than expected, raked leaves from entire yard including behind grill and front yard hill (leaves had been there since we moved in the house 5 years ago). Left invoice to be paid as the service was done withoug prior payment (felt bad that I was out of town and had to mail it within the week). Would highly recommend this service.

I cannot adequately review this provider. From the time of initial contact to the time of cleanup was approximately two weeks. I was on vacation, but my husband was home. He explained that when he went outside the workers did not acknowledge him. He had to hold up his hand to be recognized. Perhaps, they did not see him at first. Upon my return, I did see some leaves still in the shrubs; however, my husband did explain that the weather was quite windy when the workers showed up. My neighbor called to say that many of the leaves had blown into her yard. Overall the yard looks better, and had the workers come on a better day, it would have looked great,

They're great. I stopped using them because I just couldn't afford it. The guy was wonderful. I'm very happy with them.

I signed up for a big deal offer for 8 hours of landscape service and it all went very smoothly. They were prompt and professional in responding. I needed to be out of town at the time of service so I left and emailed written instructions on the areas to be cleared of weeds and shrubs, and those areas to be left alone. I was happy to find that my instructions were carried out as written and the work was well done.

The workers did a great job blowing out all of the leaves in front and removing them. In the back, they raked and blew out every leaf and moved them into the woods. They did an amazing job and my yard is now ready for spring. I heartily recommend Green Star for all of your landscaping needs.

I thought they were very responsive and left messages of what I wanted them to do. The only dislike I had was they used a chemical on one of our patios that stained it, our stone patio but that can happen. We still use them after that.

They did such a good job with the landscaping we decided to keep them on. They came out every other week until the end of the season. I haven't had any issues. I thought it was a good value.

Removed all of the leaves; cleaned up trash in back yard; tidied up front yard.

I needed the job done as quickly as they could due the deadline of curbside removal of leaves by town. Green Star put me on their schedule and came one day before the town removed the leaves. Green Star put every leaf on the curb and was finished with the job in around two hours. They did a wonderful job and I highly recommend them.

I have been using Green Star for a year. I was looking for a new lawn care provider and read several positive reviews on Angie's List. Louis is a pleasure to work with. The work is done well and on time which was not always my experience with other companies in the past. They do a great job!
