Went well. Locksmith arrived on time, assessed situation, got to work. Locks work well. He had to replace the garage lock because it was basically painted shut, but that's not his fault! I've seen these services offered for less, but you might get what you pay for in that instance. Overall satisfied and would recommend.

Not thrilled about my experience. It seems that the installers do not communicate well with the owner, Mike, who does the ordering and invoicing. Confirmed 2x when making the installation appointment with the installer that all pieces were in and available. Was told yes...then told day of that one necessary piece was on back order. Installer blamed owner - had to wait 2 weeks for part. Was also given attitude by owner that "I don't answer my phone". I checked my phone records - didn't receive any calls between the 2 appointments - was given attitude when I pointed that out as well. I was called a "difficult customer" by the owner when I pointed out that the installer was an hour late to his appointment and I didn't receive a call to let me know he was running late and requested a detailed price list for the parts and labor. Lastly - I was quoted a price of $1050 all inclusive, less 10% as an Angie's List member. Some of the original parts I wanted were on back order and was offered a similar design in stock which turns out were approx $25 less per knob. Somehow even after the 10% discount, I was still paying the same price. After the attitude I received that morning, I was not in mood to haggle over $100 - I was afraid the installer would be told to do a half-assed job or just leave the job unfinished so I paid in full. I'm giving the overall grade a C - simply because the work was done well - and I want to be fair. Just because one person is a jerk to work with, doesn't mean everyone at the company is.

I am very pleased with the service that was provided. The price was more than reasonable. The guys did a great job and were on time. The communication was great. Couldn't ask for anything more.

I used them one time. They were very pleasant, they showed up as soon as they could get here, and were reasonable in their price. I remember them being reasonable but I have never dealt with a locksmith before. I did not get the feeling that they were ripping me off. Whatever I paid was accurate for the job that they had to do.

I was extremely happy with the work that was done at my house. I had contacted several locksmiths in my area before agreeing to Able Security. I had spoke to the owner, Mike, on the phone about the work that we wanted done at the house. Mike was very professional and promised quality deadbolts at a reasonable price. I first heard about Able Security by reading the great reviews on Angies List. The other locksmiths (also from Angies List) that I spoke to were not as friendly on the phone and did not spend as much time explaining the different deadbolt options. Mike understood that we didn't want to spend $200 on a deadbolt but also didn't want a cheap one. The men who came to my house were also very professional. The deadbolts not only look great (satin nickle finish) and match our door handles but they were also installed perfectly. Both deadbolt locks turn great and there is no sticking at all. They also cleaned up all the sawdust after their drilling. There were 2 other doors in my house that I had questions with (a fence gate lock and door lock at the top of my steps which was not closing right). They gave me advice to fix my fence lock by using WD40 which solved my issue there and then they fixed my door lock at the top of my steps for no additional charge. They were so nice to spend the time to help me with my other locks. Without a doubt, I would hire Able Security again to do work at my house and would definitely recommend them to others.

After calling who I thought was a local company(as it turned out not be local or reputable) I went to Angies' List and found this company. This was a Sunday morning. I left a message not expecting to hear from anyone until Monday morning. Mr. Chiarella, the owner, called back within 10 minutes. He assured me he would have his technichan, Jeff, contact me on is way into work to take care of my problem. He accommodated my work schedule. He did all the right things a professionally run company would do. Jeff was right on time, professional and fixed the problem in the time he said he would. Reasonable rates as was told to me. I would use this company again..and would recommend it to everyone.

It went well. The lock that was there was old and not properly installed. The opening in the doorframe was not in line with the bolt from the lock so I had really had to push the door hard in order to lock the door. It got to the point where the lock just broke. Besides replacing the lock, Able Security adjust the opening in the door frame.

It went very well. The smith came and changed them quickly and explained everything in great detail. I highly recommend them.

Able Security Locksmiths sent two high skilled craftsman who take pride in their work. They made sure each lock and door worked perfectly. Their work was careful, expert and efficient. I endorse them fully.

The staff was very courteous and punctual. They were quick too. We scheduled for the locksimth to come on a weekday morning and they were done while we were getting ready to leave for office. Nice clean job done.

We had an emergency. I turned to Angie's List for a reference. Not only did they arrive early - they gave us a discount. They were professional, friendly and immaculate. Highly recommend!

He was great. He even gave me a free item because he happened to have it on the truck.

Josh and Nestor came on Saturday and were at the house exactly at 9:00am which was the appointment time. We showed them the locks that needed to be re-keyed and they went to work. In less than an hour they had all locks done. There was no mess and all work was done perfectly. They also oiled all of the locks during the re-keying process. We asked for 6 keys and they gave us 8 for the same price. We will use Able Security Locksmiths again.

After locking myself out of the home...I used Angie's List App on my phone to look up a Locksmith in the area. Able Security Locksmiths was my first and last call. They gave me a quote right over the phone and assured me that someone would be there within the hour and that is exactly when they showed up. They also accepted their coupon that I found on Angie's List as well. I found them to be timely and very professional. If I am in need of a locksmith anytime soon I know whom I'm going to call...ABLE SECURITY! Many Thanks!!

The guy was great and the price was very reasonable. He did everything and did it quickly. He was available very soon after we called. I wasn't there while this was happening, but my husband was home. It went very smoothly and he did a great job. There weren't any damage or anything and we were very happy.

They were great to work with and I would recommend them.

I was very glad that Able Security Locksmiths had the key I needed. The other common places did not have that kind of key. It was a quick visit. I was in and out in about five minutes.

The fellow they sent showed up on-time (perhaps even early) and was very conscientious about his work. He tried to keep costs low based on the job, had good recommendations, and even helped fix a wobbly know on another door. It took him longer than expected because of the complicated door, but he was diligent and explained clearly why it took him longer and how this affected the labor charge. He took my Angie's coupon without hesitation and seemed happy we got a substantial discount. His overall charge was less than the estimate of another company I found on Angie's List. Overall, he did a great job, was extremely professional and polite, and cleaned up when he was done. I would use them again.

We needed to change the locks on the house doors. I spoke with Jeff on the phone. Jeff said he could come in half an hour, but that the price would be higher than normal as this was a weekend emergency call. That was fine with me. Jess came as promised and did an excellent job in changing the locks and leaving us 6 keys, as requested.We were very satisfied with his work and will call him again if needed. I would also highly recommend him: he did a very good job.

I called and spoke with Mike. He was very helpful and setup the appointment. I later got a call from Jeff who met me at the building at the appointed time. He proceeded to do the job. It took about 20 minutes. I tested the keys, paid him, and that was it.
