Able Security Locksmiths

It went very good and I am very happy with them. They were on time and professional.

They were very responsive to my last minute request. Some of the locks were old and they took the time to ensure they were in good working order including the deadbolt locks.

They came when they said they would come, finished their work fast, were professional and polite. They also accepted coupon I had printed out from the Angie's list for 10% discount. Great service!

I had several doors which I wanted locks changed on. I called and scheduled a time for someone to come over and he came on time. He looked over the doors and told me one of the doors had a special kind of lock which would be a problem, so I just had the other four doors done. He was able to do the keys in the manner in which I specified and make the number of copies I wanted. He even copied another key I needed done. Everything was done in a fairly short amount of time and communicated well.

They sent one person for the job, he was very nice and helpful. It took a few hours for four or five locks.

Able was not my first choice because they are based a little far from my home. However, this is the second time I've called them because I couldn't get any neighborhood locksmiths to come out in a reasonable amount of time. They were punctual, knowledgeable and professional. I was very happy that they were able to repair my locks and not replace. I felt that the locksmith was very honest about my options with my annoying Pella patio door lock which Pella was very unhelpful with and went out of his way to get it working again. Next time I will just call Able first.

It was great. Service was quick and they even came back to fix one more thing! Would hire again every time.

Not well. They claimed that they could not install a bolt lock because the Anderson lock system was broken. That is the reason we needed the bolt lock!

We were from out of town and had an ignition key stuck in our vehicle. We had visited a local dealer and they said it would take three days to get a new key. We had a family commitment to get to and had to get back on the road. Not the best negotiating tactic but we let the guys at Able know our situation and that we really didn't care what it cost to solve the problem.. They got the key out and got us set-up with a new one and on the road in about 15 minutes. I know not overly challenging for them, but they were very nice people, responsive and had every opportunity to overcharge us (and we wouldn't have complained) and they didn't.

Actually they came out they were very good, We had a very good experience with them actually. They were very good, they came out, they gave an estimate and did the work right then and there, they were very professional and efficient quick and everything worked fine.

Excellent. Jeff the service technician arrived on time, was extremely informative and receptive to questions. The job quality was spot on, doors closed with proper spacing and deadbolts functioned as expected. He also explained the steps in accessing or removing the unique deadbolts for future needs (the locks were medeco). I also applied the offered angie's list coupon. I recommend this company for lock services and would hire again if needed.

Excellent! I called them. Was given a very fair estimate. Turns out, they had the parts and my door handle/latch was fixed that afternoon for less than the estimate. They are very honest, considerate, timely! Great service!! Thank you!!

Re-keyed 5 locks including replacing the garage door knob that wasn't a Schlage lock. also made a dozen keys and looked at my shed lock for me and provided some solutions. I called at 2:30pm on a Friday and the work was completed by 3:45pm!! Great work! I will use them again in the future! On top of it, The keys are smooth as silk! Amazing. Thank you!

Mike at Able Security Locksmiths was great. He spent time explaining the different features of a number of safes and made a recommendation based on my intended use. He did not try to sell me the most expensive safe, but rather the best safe for my needs. Scheduling delivery was very easy and the safe was delivered within the time window promised. The guys who delivered it were professional and made sure I knew how to operate the safe before they left. I would recommend Able Security Locksmiths without reservation.

The technician arrived within the window provided and did an excellent job. Very professional and completed the work to satisfaction. The technician has followed up with me and deserves mentioning but unfortunately I a can't recall his name. I plan on utilizing Able Security Locksmiths in the future if I have additional work needed. I would recommend this company.

Jeff was on time and very friendly. I hadn't previously advised that I wanted an additional deadbolt installed but it was no problem. He made me 6 pairs of keys, saved a trip to Home Depot. Everything works properly. Recommended.

We made an appointment so our front door lock mechanism could be checked and repaired. The locksmith explained to my wife that because the steel door and lock mechanism were effectively a unit, it would be less expensive to replace the front door. I appreciated the fact that we got a clear, honest, and quick answer so we could proceed appropriately. Excellent service, and we'll remember Able for our future needs.

My wife and I had just closed on a house and yet-- somewhere between the lawyer's office and our new home? we (I?) lost our only key. After insisting to my wife several times that this was a future 'Funny Story!' and not a terrible omen, I found and called Able Security Locksmiths through Angie's List, just before closing time on a Friday (4:45 or so) even. In less than an hour, one of their professional and friendly locksmiths showed up and had us inside while then getting to work on replacing the front lock. It all went so smoothly that I think I will only ever hear about this from my wife as a pleasant anecdote at cocktail parties about hectic home closings rather than in the heat of countless future spats where evidence is being given of all the times I've been a hopeless j******. So... Thanks, Able Security!

The locksmith was quick to show up and so kind. He knew about my concern with an angry contractor and made me feel safe. He was in and out very quickly. I was also painting cabinet doors which were in his way and he was so understanding and worked around them! I give them an A+++. I'm so appreciative. I was dealing with a painter and electrician when he showed up and he just did his thing and was so patient and understanding. Exactly what I needed and the price was great!

On time, professional and knowlegeable. Changed old locks and cleaned out the casings. Added a new lock above the agreement at a very reasonable cost. Could not have asked for better service. Highly recommend.

I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for $79 for a service call to repair a sticking deadbolt. I spoke with the owner Mike and I requested a Saturday appointment if that was possible. Mike informed me that they did not usually have weekend appointments but based on my location he would ask one of his technicians if he would be able to stop by on Saturday seeing as he lived very close by. I really appreciated that. It would have been difficult for me to make a weekday appointment. On Saturday, the technician was about an hour late due to another service call that ran a little long. I understand that happens but I wish someone had called to just let me know. This is just nitpicking on my part as they were very accommodating to my availability. The technician was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. After inspecting the problem he gave me the option of either trying to fix an old and what appeared to me to be a broken mechanism inside the lock or to replace it with a new lock. He gave me an option between two locks and he installed the one I chose. When I asked how much I owed him, he wrote up the invoice and I was a little surprised by the amount. After I told him I paid for the Angie's List Big Deal, he deducted that amount off the invoice. I had assumed the Angie's List Big Deal for $79 took care of the time and labor and that I would pay extra for any parts. However, what it really turned out to be was that the $79 was just a pre-payment. I wish Angie's List had spelled that out more clearly. Either way, overall I would recommend Able Security Locksmiths. They accommodated my schedule and fixed the problem.

They were timely, friendly and they listened and did exactly what we wanted.
