Description of Work: I called him once and we spoke. He needed to call me back to set a date for an estimate. I never heard back from him. 3 weeks later, he called, and said he had lost my number. I had not yet decided on a contractor so decided to allow him to come by and take a look at what needed to be done. He said he would call me that upcoming Monday, in the morning, to let me know if he would be coming that evening or the next day, Tuesday evening. I had no problem. Again, it is a week, or more, later and I never heard from him. Very Rude! If your that busy, then good for you. But don't leave people hanging!

Description of Work: Powerwash house

Description of Work: Stabalized the pergola on my patio to prepare for the delivery of a hot tub spa. He also made some other minor repairs inside my home. Nice guy. Very busy but he worked me into his schedule. I will have him back for some other repairs.

Description of Work: Took several phone calls to finally schedule a meeting at my house. He finally made it over, walked through quickly and promised a quote on the work I requested. Despite my making a follow up call during which he promised to get back to me, I never did receive the quote.

Description of Work: Our 60-year-old hand-stained, custom-sized kitchen drawer- front literally had the side edges torn off from wear, and the tracks on this drawer and the large drawer below it were non-functional. Robert, who enjoyed the challenge, took measurements, and came back with a a perfect match to the drawer below it. He created a way to attach the runners, and put it all together so that we have two functioning drawers again - and the new drawer front matches the rest of the kitchen! He offered a very fair price and we appreciated his taking on such a limited renovation - two drawers! We had to wait a little to get on his schedule, but it was worth it.

Description of Work: I called Robert to fix a ceiling and redo a bathroom. The work he did is beautiful and he was reliable and very neat to boot. Whenever I'm ready to do more work there is no doubt that I'll call him again. Thanks Robert!

Description of Work: No response to phone calls after initial visit for estimates. Gave a rough estimate on the phone and was to follow up with line item estimates but never came back. But Rob was prompt and professional when came for the initial visit.

Description of Work: Robert removed two sets of double sliding windows from first and second floors and replaced them with two sets of new double hung windows. The old windows had been in for about 25 years and required the removable and replacement of some siding and other unique adjustments. Robert did an extremely efficean

Description of Work: Didn't reply to phone messages left until it was too late and I found another handyman.

Description of Work: Robert fixed the rotted trim on the garage door as agreed earlier and it looks like new. While he was at the house, he offered to cut down a tree which needed to be cut before sale of the house. He took pains to do it safely and carted all the limbs and debris to the front of the lawn for pick up as well as bagging some small debris. This was not on his schedule and was so appreciated! His work ethic is amazing!

Description of Work: I had been pleased with BND in the past, but Robert's unresponsiveness to my last request for an estimate is extremely disappointing. It's been about six weeks since I spoke to him about work I'd like to have done and, although he indicated he would get back to me by the end of that week, I haven't heard from him since. The courtesy of a simple call back to explain the delay would have been appreciated.

Description of Work: Robert took care of a list of small projects that I needed done for more than a year such as lowering a chandelier and mirror.

Description of Work: Replaced areas of rotting wood on two front bay windows, caulked and painted windows as well as trim around front door; powerwashed house; powerwashed, replaced deck railings and stained deck; repaired bulge in vinyl siding; repaired a broken doorbell wire (in a matter of minutes, after an electrician estimated a work time of two hours for the same problem); found and resolved the sources of two leaks damaging the kitchen and living rooms ceilings, which were subsequently repaired; installed new faucets and Jacuzzi and shower hardware in master bathroom; installed vanity countertop/vessel sink/faucet in another bathroom; installed new window blind and curtain rods; other minor (but much needed!) miscellaneous repairs.

Description of Work: Replaced rotten wood panels on the sides of our entry door, caulked and sealed all gaps.

Description of Work: They cleared out all the gutters in our two story house. They cleaned the exterior of the gutters and power washed the entire house.

Description of Work: Robert spent a full day at my house tackling a wide of array of tasks including repairing two garage doors. One door was not opening and closing due to a malfunctioning part, and one had become disconnected from the spring. Robert then oiled both down and got both to function almost as new. He re-affixed all of the top shudders on the front side of our house. Two had come off completely and several others were pulling away from the brick front. He purchased and hung wire shelves in laundry room. He patched around front door, caulking, etc. Removed two sets of old vanity mirrors, sheet rocked, and painted over. Other miscellaneous work.

Description of Work: I contacted him to fix my dryer vent which was disconnected to the exhaust outside my townhome. It is not easy to find where it was disconnected because the dryer is in the center of the house.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced insulation on exterior French doors in our house, adjusted and replaced a couple of door sills, removed and replaced a moldy section of sheet rock in our basement, patched and painted moldy sheet rock under kitchen sink, repaired sagging/warped built-in shelves in family room and fixed a broken pin on closet bifold doors.
