Meet with Rob the week before to get an estimate on changing my old water heater. Gave me a quote about what I expected. I then mentioned to him about installing a stop valve on my outside faucet so it wouldnt freeze and burst. He said he would do it for no extra price. He and his partner Keith showed up on time and started work on the water heater. They finished in about a hour and took away the old boiler. They cleaned the area where they work. They spent some time afterwards as I asked them for their opinion on some things I wanted done. They gave me some sound advice and was more than helpful. I would definitely use them again for any services they would provide.

He fixed some things and installed 2 toilets and a new faucet. He was friendly. He said when he would do the work. He came when he said he would come. So we hired him to do the rest of the work. The amount included the price of the parts.

For a DIY bathroom remodel project, I needed a plumber to remove the old cast iron tub and install a new one. This owner operated company was just what I was hoping for. The communication was excellent from my first contact. Not only was the work scheduled quickly, the estimated time and cost right on the mark, but in addition, Rob and Keith offered some valuable tips on the remaining work to be done on this project. They have a lot of experience under their belts and are willing to share! I will be using them again when we get to bathroom number two, and for any other plumbing issues that might come up.

Their business is only a few blocks from my house. They came by twice to asses the problem. He did some diagnostics on the first visit. On the second visit, he was armed with all the information he needed from the manufacturer of the pipes. With this information, he found out what the problem was and replaced the check valve. I haven't had a problem since. Their prices were so low, I had them do some other repairs on a small leak I had. They kind of have a down home manner that might not come off as too professional but I like it.

This was my first use of Angie's list and they were all that reviewers reported. Pleasant, on-time, efficient and easy to talk with. The work was done quickly. I was so pleased that I decided on replacing an old water heater that has been of some concern. Rob immediately got on the phone and got a price, gave me a quote and, at my request, made an appointment to install it next week. I was so impressed with the way that was handled that I also asked for an estimate on a bathroom make-over that has been on my mind for some time. Their ballpark estimate is within the range I'd set which was not the case with others I have consulted. What a find. Thank you Angie's list.

Our experience was very positive overall. The work was of good quality and their prices were quite reasonable.

My call was answered quickly and the original services requested were performed efficiently. I appreciated explanations of problems. In the process of doing the work I had requested, they discovered a number of errors made in the installation of my boiler by another firm. These have now been fixed, and the work was done well as far as I can tell. The labor costs were not cheap, but probably normal for plumbers in this area. I did not have time for shopping around, and liked that this was a small local firm.

Four visits were required to complete the job. The first three involved snaking with a 25 foot snake and use of water pressure. None of the methods cleared the drain. Only one fee was charged for the three services. Roberts said a rental fee for a longer, more heavy-duty snake would have to be paid for the fourth and final visit, but he charged labor as well as tool rental for the final visit. The 50 foot snake did clear the drain. A rebate on future fees was offered by the firm in lieu of a refund of the second labor charge.

I called a total of 3 plumbers from the list, and chose Rob's company. He was most straightforward with his estimate, and quoted me $300 flat. The 2 others quoted me $325 and $350 with additional for materials and disposal of the old heater. Rob and his assistant Keith were very efficient, professional, and finished the work in just over an hour. I didn't tell them to dispose of the old heater, since Edison township will pick it for free. However, without my asking them, they just carried the old heater to their truck for disposal, and did not charge me a cent for it. I paid a total of $321 (incl. tax). Great guys! They were also prompt in answering telephone messages and showing up for work.

I called up 3 plumbing companies and decided to go with Robert's Plumbing. The first 2 companies gave me an estimate of $325 and $350 plus materials and said they'd charge extra for disposal of the old heater. When I called Rob he gave me a figure of $300 flat. I figured that this job would take around 3 hours. Rob, who is a master plumber, with his assistant Keith, finished the work in around 1 hour ! This is not because they were in a hurry, they are just that good and efficient at this job. I was going to mention that I'll take care of disposing the old heater, since the township collects them for free anyway, but Rob and Keith just put the old one in their truck and didn't charge us a cent. I have to mention that they cleaned up after finishing the work. My wife and I are very happy with the work Rob and Keith provided us, and we highly recommend them.

They were just great. They were on time, very professional, and extremely bright. Really terrific.

I appreciate that Robert's accepts my homeowner warranty that came with the purchase of my home. The repair cost was totally free. I will tell you they are the nicest people as far as plumbers go. I trust them completely with all of my plumbing needs.

I LIKED THE PLUMBERS THAT CAME TO DO THE WORK. THE WORK THAT WAS DONE WAS MORE THAN SATISFACTORY. I WILL DEFINITELY CONTINUE USING THEM AND RECOMMENDING THEM TO FRIENDS.
