I called and left a message twice about getting an estimate on a leaking pipe in my bathroom that was causing water to leak through my kitchen ceiling. I never received a call back either times. I think that was very unprofessional. I made the phone calls a week apart and he could have called and said something like I wont be able to come to give you an estimate at this time.

I contacted Mr. Campomizzi on his cell phone on 7/2/13 and left a message that I was in need of a new hot water heater. I had never used Mr. Campomizzi's services before and had come across his name on Angie's List. He returned my call that evening and we agreed for him to come to my home on 7/5/13. He asked me to describe from where was the water leaking. Since the leak was at the top of the heater, he told me to turn off the inlet valve to restrict water flow into the heater. He advised me that the water heater could be used by turning on the inlet valve so that we could use the dishwasher and the shower; but to turn off the valve after use so as to avoid any additional leaking. He told me that he would be at my home at 7:30 AM. on Friday, July 5. Since my kitchen faucet was leaking, he advised me to shop for a new faucet to my liking and he would be able to install that for me at the same time. Mr. Campomizzi arrived at my home at exactly 7:30 AM with a brand new water heater. He covered the floor with cardboard, removed the old hot water heater, and installed the new hot water heater. He then installed the new kitchen faucet. Mr. Campomizzi was very pleasant, courteous, and professional and punctual. He was very neat and clean; I was very impressed with how well he cleaned up when the job was completed; the area was cleaner than before he started. I am highly satisfied with Mr. Campomizzi's work. I would highly recommend his services. I would definitely use his services again. I would rate him A+++.

Excellent job. We were our own contractor for this job and Mr. Campomizzi made it easy for us. We contacted him to do the job and he called us back that evening. After he came to look at the job, he gave us an estimate, and within a few days, we had a date set to have all the old plumbing disconnected. On that day, Mr. Campomizzi showed up at 8:30 am, as promised and quickly disconnected the old plumbing. The following week, once all of the demolition was finished, Mr. Campomizzi showed up on the day promised and ten minutes early! He had the tub, toilet, sink and faucets delivered that day. In spite of the pouring rain, he carried the toilet, sink and faucets around the outside of the house and down into the basement in order to avoid walking through my living room. The supply house sent the wrong bathtub and Mr. Campomizzi immediately got on the phone with the supplier and we had the correct tub within two hours. When the correct tub came, the delivery man from the supply house helped him carry it into the bathroom. Mr. Campomizzi then spent the rest of that day in the basement doing all of the new piping, the new vent stack and the waste pipe. We were very impressed and pleased with Mr. Campomizzi taking the time and energy to carry all of the heavy supplies and tools all the way around the outside of the house in the pouring rain and use the back door, to minimize mess. In fact, any time (during the entire job) that he had to go from the basement (the entrance is in the rear of the house) to the bathroom (which is in the front of the house), he went out the back door, around the outside and into the front door. In addition, he put down tarps everywhere that he was working. The next morning, Mr. Campomizzi had to install a 60 inch bathtub in a 61 inch alcove. As it is a very, very small bathroom (5' x7'), we were concerned about damage to the sheet rock in the rooms on either side of this bathroom. Amazingly, he did it all by himself, without so much as a scratch to the back of the sheet rock of the adjacent rooms. Once the sheet rock and tile job was finished, we called Mr. Campomizzi to set up a date to come back and install the sink, toilet and faucets and connect the plumbing. He was very busy that week, so he came on a Saturday so that we wouldn't have to be without our main bathroom for any longer than necessary. Once again, he was there on time, as promised - 8:30 am on a Saturday morning. He was neat and careful, taking pains to make sure things were done perfectly. Our bathroom is just gorgeous! Mr. Campomizzi is punctual, neat and professional and the job was done for the price he promised. In addition, it is refreshing to have someone work in your home who seems to actually enjoy doing his job. To me, plumbing seems to be very hard (and sometimes really dirty) work - yet Mr. Campomizzi is always pleasant and frequently you can hear him whistling while he works. We will definitely, without a doubt be using Mr. Campomizzi for any and all of our future plumbing jobs!

Pat is always courteous and respectful in all his actions. He comes on time for estimates and for the job. He keeps my house clean when he works (puts sheets on the floor and cleans up after he's done). His work is very considered and clean. As an engineer, I can appreciate the way he plans his pipe layout and little things like an extra valve above the pump so if we need to remove the pump the waste water wouldn't come rushing out. His welds are clean and good. His estimates are always very competitive -- sometimes I wonder why I bother interviewing other plumbers.

Pat Showed up on time, was a thorough professional, and one of the nicest guys you will meet. He knows what he is doing and also is extremely reasonable with pricing. Every other plumber i have contacted has tried to get more money, and charge an arm and a leg. Pat is the first plumber who i have met who says and quot;that's minor,and quot; and and quot;that won't take long,and quot; and all while being pleasant and considerate. He got down to work quickly and efficiently, and NEATLY, and takes obvious pride in what he does. He did an amazing and thorough job with the installation. I will definitely be using him and only him for the master bathroom. The man has my trust.

Pat came right away and gave us a very competitive estimate and suggested changes in our current set up. He was the same price as another provider and $2500 less than our first estimate. He wrote up a detailed estimate and gave us accurate prices and time estimates. Pat is a licensed plumber and does more than just heaters which is not the case in all cases. He took a $1000 deposit and told us it would take 2-3 weeks to get the unit to our home. After 2 weeks he called and set up a time to come and do the job. He estimated that he would need 2 days but spent 3 days and completed the job on the 3rd day. He cleaned up nicely and did not charge any extra for his services. He is a very polite guy and explained everything to us. We would recommend him and would use his services again.

I recently purchased a home in Bergen County. The furnace was old and leaking. I needed to close so the owners credited me the price of the furnace. I did not know any contractors so I joined Angie's List. I received a few estimates. I decided to go with Campomizzi Plumbing and Heating. He arrived on time, was very professional and courteous. He provided me the estimate in writing. It was very thorough, providing a list of all the parts that would be replaced. He arrived on time. He covered the floor before he started. This was a 2 day job. He returned the next day as agreed to complete the job. After the installation he showed me the furnace and explained what I needed to know. When he left the area was as clean as when he first arrived. Everything went so smoothly and according to plan. I would definitely use him again and refer him to my friends and neighbors.

I am very happy with overall experience and would highly recommend Pat. My kitchen faucet and disposal were on life support, so it was time to call a plumber. After puchasing the new parts, I selected Pat from Angies List based on his number of good reviews. I called on Monday 3/11 and left a message. Pat returned my call the same day and we made an appointment for Thursday 3/14. Pat arrived on time as scheduled and got right to work. Everything went smoothly, the new fixtures were all installed properly, and work areas were all left clean. Pat is professional, courteous, and a nice guy. All work was completed to my satisfaction and at a reasonable price. My past satisfaction with other plumbing/heating pros was mixed to bad. I plan on contacting Pat for all my future plumbing needs.

I am highly recommending Pat Campomizzi for anyone who needs plumbing work to be done. We needed our steam boiler replaced, so we called them on a Sunday and he arrived at the appointed time. He evaluated the situation, explained our needs and gave us an estimate. We agreed on his fair price and he started the next day. He worked into the night so that we could have heating in part of our house. He finished in two days, as he said he would. He answered all of our questions. He is very polite, neat and knowledgable about his trade. He left the house cleaner than when he arived. He laid down protective covering over all the areas he worked on. He is one of the best contractors we have ever used in the 40+ years we have lived in this house, we have already recommended him to our family and friends.

He gave us an estimated time of arrival and called us again when he was on his way. He apologized for being late even tho he was only 10 min late. He immediately looked at the problems and knew exactly what to work on. We had several broken pipes. He was very professional, personable and genuinely concerned about our situation. It took him several hours to get all the pipes fixed. Will hire him again and refer him to everyone.

Pat was a pleasure to work with and very professional. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions about my boiler. He determined the existing boiler we undersized and not optiminally installed. Since the boiler was recently installed, he gave me other other options to compensate for the under sized boiler instead of replacing it. His options were much less than expensive than replacing the boiler. Pat is not just a plumber, he's a problem solver that gives you several options to resolve your issue. At the end of the day, Pat was able to balance my steam radiators. I wish I had known about Pat about 1 year when I originally replaced my boiler I highly recommend Pat without any reservations.

He also went out of his way to get me the part number and show me how to replace the part that I needed. Pat Campomizzi Plumbing and Heating took out the old furnace which was 60 years old and installed a new one. I am so pleased. Everything went so smoothly: he was very professional and did an excellent job. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and I would recommend him to everybody in the area.

After 34 years of being home owners, we finally found our dream plumber. We read the reviews for Pat on Angie's List, called and spoke directly to Pat. Within 24 hours he was at our home to give us an estimate. Pat listened to our thoughts and concerns, answered all of our questions and promised a written estimate in 3 days, which he hand delivered. One week from delivering the estimate work began. This was a very large job as our heating system had been hacked into as our 100 year old home expanded and we had depended on contractors to take care of our plumbing needs and local plumbers for emergency repairs and water heater replacements. Upon arriving Pat covered the entire work area with covers and cardboard flooring to protect the area and keep dirt and dust to a minimum. He showed up on time every day and even showed up the day of Hurricane Sandy. Pat also showed up the day following and worked with minimum power ( we have a generator) so that the job could be completed on schedule. Because piping had to be install from the basement to the 2nd floor, holes had to be cut in our living room walls and ceiling. Pat kept the opening sizes of the holes to a minimum, saved the sheetrock removed and replaced it. (With minimum taping, mud and a bit of paint we made the holes disappear). Pat's assistants were professional and considerate of our personal space. The job was finished to perfection and we continue to call Pat for all of our Plumbing and heating needs.

After receiving several estimates for a new boiler, we decided to view Angie's List to check service recommendations. While doing so, we also looked for other companies in the area that did boiler installations. After reading the evaluations for Pat Campomizzi Plumbing and Heating and knowing he was within a reasonable service area, we called and left a message for an estimate. Pat called and soon after he arrived at our home to evaluate the job. We told him the type of boiler we wanted installed plus additional work. The next evening, we received an estimate via email, which completely spelled out everything that would be replaced, the warranty provided by him and the manufacturer plus the applications for permits in our township. His pricing was completely in line with other estimates we received, but his outstanding grade on Angie's List, plus his personal demeanor, put him at the top of our list. Pat worked diligently and efficiently to install the new boiler. He left our home impeccable. He is a polite, soft-spoken man, knowledgeable and trustworthy man. We had to call him back because of air in one of our zones. He came later that day and within 15 minutes fixed the problem. Today our township official inspected the job Pat did. We asked if everything was alright and he said he did a good job. We would highly recommend Campomizzi Plumbing and Heating to anyone in need of a new boiler. For any other plumbing problems that might arise in our home, Pat Campomizzi Plumbing and Heating will get the call!

Pat's team and the team that did the tank removal did excellent work. The guys working outside even dug up and saved some rose bushes that were atop the tank. Pat, working inside, covered and protected newly tiled floor surfaces in the basement, and hardwood stairs to the basement. He went above and beyond by and quot;cleaning upand quot; previously sloppy plumbing work by our former oil contractor. Pat's bill was what we had agreed to in advance. I asked Pat for a couple of his business cards to hand to neighbors who are looking to do similar oil/gas conversions. I would recommend Pat highly and would hire him again without question.
