Met with the owner and he was very thorough. I received the estimate within a few days as he said would happen. The overall price was very high. They had the highest overall estimate of all of the movers that I spoke with. We decided not to use them because of this.

Overall, the move could not have gone any smoother. At every step along the way, the movers were punctual, showing up on time for the estimate, pick-up, and delivery. The entire crew was very polite and helpful. They delivered boxes to our house to help us pack for no extra charge. The original estimate was exactly what we paid in the end. There were lower bids for our move, but we had no confidence they were accurate. Other bids seemed to underestimate the weight of our move dramatically and gave non-binding bids. We are very happy we went with the reasonable bid provided by Marshall's (which was once again, exactly what we paid). The crew treated every item we had with care. All of our furniture was carefully wrapped in blankets and all of our boxes were handled as if they were extremely fragile. If there was any uncertainty in where anything was supposed to go in our new house, they made an effort to ask. 100% of our items arrived in tact and in the same condition they were before the move. We also needed a few days of storage in between our move-out and move-in date (and were very flexible and up front about which dates would and would not work). They picked up and delivered exactly on the dates we requested. This was our first experience with movers, and we couldn't be happier! Professional, helpful, and for a reasonable price. We would definitely recommend Marshall's.

They showed up on time. Great attitude. Well organized, smooth loading and unloading. They removed and reinstalled the air conditioners. These guys are the best!

The move was done in two parts. Loading on one day and unloading the next. The moving crew was punctual and very professional. They worked quickly and efficiently. Having moved 5 times in the past 10 years, I would say that this was one of the better moving experiences I have had.

Marshall's Moving Service was very good. The only reason we did not choose them is not because of them, it is just that a friend gave us a huge break on price and helped us out. If I did not have that friend then I would have chosen Marshall's.

Whenever you move, you expect damage, but there was none. We've been hearing horror stories about other movers and we didn't know what to expect. I would definitely recommend them. They do the whole east coast. They move a lot of snowbirds as well. I thought they were reasonable and they did a really excellent job.

They did a FANTASTIC job. I have countless little fragile decorative things, as well as antiques and paintings. Everything came through without a scratch. Even better, Bruce was right on target with the cost estimate, and precisely on the schedule agreed. They even finished a day early - planned on three days but were done in two. Loved the team, so friendly and helpful. Plus, they came back to pick up all of my boxes and packing materials. Great experience.

They were twice as high as the company I used. They were responsive when they came to do it, but they were not the best out there. We will not look into this company for future estimates.

We looked up moving companies in our area on Angie?s List and called a few highly rated ones. Marshall?s and scheduled a walk through. The Marshall?s estimator arrived on time as scheduled and provided us with a thorough, written estimate after a survey of our town house. This was followed up by a committal letter and formal, typed estimate. We packaged 95% of our own belonging in boxes before the movers arrived and moved several carloads of odds and ends ourselves to save ourselves time. The day before our move we followed up with Marshall?s, via a phone call to confirm which they did. The next morning as scheduled, the company arrived on time in a newer truck and with the specified crew. They started immediately on the top floor and worked downward and also removed the front door from the hinges for easier access. This sped up the entire process and of course they replaced the door once the move was complete. This undoubtedly saved us time and money. Marshall?s disassembled all of our larger furniture and kept the drawers with our clothes in the dressers on our request. This saved us a lot of time once we unpacked. All mattresses were sealed in bags and everything else with pads and straps. This included anything that could have been scratched; it was all wrapped in sturdy packing blankets. They also provided us with garment boxes for our hanging clothes. We all caravanned the 10 miles over to our new address. The crew proceeded to unloaded quickly, and reassembled all furniture and took away all wrapping materials. They also worked through a rain storm and high humidity efficiently and without complaint. They did scuff the ceiling in one area by accident, and informed us of this immediacy which we found a very stand up thing to do. We cleaned the scuff ourselves. We did go overtime by 2 hours from the estimate which we paid. Absolutely NO personal belongings, including a fair amount of china and glass, were broken in this move. We were out of our 3 level townhouse in about 3.5 hours and into our new house in about 4.5. The movers took few breaks and no lunch and were pleasant and efficient throughout. This was a very nice experience and exceeded our moving expectations.

The guy, Bruce, was really excellent. he gave me a good quote, the timing of getting the job done, I was really impressed with him. Once he got engaged, he was really on top of things. It took him a while to get back to me intially though.

THIS COMPANY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY HELPED US PACK, DISASSEMBLE AND ARRANGE THE FURNITURE. I'M EXPRESSING A "MIDDLE OF THE ROAD OPINION". THEY WERE FRIENDLY AND NOTHING WAS BROKEN.
